Law
"...my brethren, ye...are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law...” Romans 7:4 -7
“Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7:12
“For we know that the law is spiritual...” Rom. 7:14
"...The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 2 Corinthians 3:6
“...the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones...” 2 Corinthians 3:7
“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:6
We might also be reminded that Jesus said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Matt. 5:17
“For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.” Romans 7:9
To many these verses are confusing, and the many that find them confusing are at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and NOT at the tree of life. See whatever tree you feed from is the tree your soul will act upon.
In these two camps are they that say the law is dead and it kills, and the others say it is holy, it is spiritual, and it is good.
What way does your soul see?
I will say I find no fault in the law, none whatsoever!
It has been a part of my walk; furthermore, God's law will be with us always; that is, the law will be with us as being fulfilled forever in our lives.
This is not legalism nor is it liberalism ... It is a way of life!
See the law that exposes sin and works death is not a factor with the sons of God.
YES I SAID THAT ...... and if your soul just moaned you should look in the mirror and see the tree that feeds your soul.
"Knowing this, that the law is NOT made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers" 1 Timothy 1:9
Every person who is lawless needs the law!!!!! For the law is not for the righteous; It resides in God’s sons by nature, and every jot and tittle of it is fulfilled as easily as breathing air.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9
The LOVE of money is the root of ALL EVIL and If you feel that you have to lie, cheat, and steal to make it in life, you neither know the law nor the Lawgiver.
You are lawless ... and the WORD OF LIFE is not viewed in your soul. For "...the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7:12, and "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16
The bible we hold this bible that we teach from and preach from IS NOT LIFE!
It can make the eyes of the beholder feed from either tree and they will feed the sheep what their souls see.
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39
Life is not found in the bible (scriptures), not in the letter, not when they are taken from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The Spirit of the Word will point the Way; and life can be received from them when they are freely given as broken Bread to us by the hand of our Lord.
To many soulish men presenting Jesus from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is but spreading confusing BABYLON LIES.
Taste not .... Do not .... Touch not .... are the devices of BABYLON to keep one trapped in death!
Time one sees attempting to fulfill the law by subjecting oneself to its letter is an impossibility.
It can't be done.
I was so caught up with the wrong tree that I found myself struggling to measure up to some religious standard of “Christ likeness.”
Over time grace and mercy taught me that my acting the part of a law-abiding saint does not make a person Godly. See Godliness is never the result of outward performances; our Godliness comes as the result God's holy law residing within and radiating naturally in our daily walk.
The goodness of the Law will then shine like the Sun in a dark world.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
To be transformed is to know by nature the spiritual side of the law and live, rather than the letter of it in our minds and die.
Jesus every heartbeat was God’s Law. He was the embodiment of the Promised Law. Everything He did was, therefore, in the Name (the Nature and Authority) of His Father
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. John 10:25.
Jesus was in UNION with the law because He was in UNION with His Father.
Jesus and His Father were one in all things (John 17:11,21).
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:11, 21
NOW! Having been born of the same Seed, we are called to this UNION wherein we also know each other as only a father and son can know each other.
Thereby, we are fulfilling the law!
God is Spirit, God is Good, and God is Holy; therefore, the law is spiritual, it is good, and it is holy.
Don't think the law is gone from this earth nor think there is no law because of Jesus!
HOWEVER. When your soul is centered upon itself know that the LAW is for you!
The fruit of knowledge, which makes one wise will be the death of one's self!!!!!!
