let him that glorieth glory in this

Jerusalem was a whore that forsook the Lord. She started to walk in the pride of her beauty proclaiming the truth yet not knowing the truth giver. She had light that was the brightest of all, but she herself hid in the shadows playing the harlot.

Jerusalem prosperity was her fornication that she poured out to the world. In return she took of the world the very things she taught to despise. The very things the Lord gave unto her she return to man in return she was blessed with the fat of the land.

Her beauty was a glow, lights, camera, action. She played the role.

She stopped paying heed to His counsel and took her gold and offered it unto the world. The world no more round to be but now is fashioned as a man the harlot's new lover, the Lord no more. The oil of the anointing from heaven sent no more, vessels of dishonor filled with the pleasures of her new lover.

The gladness of heaven no more a glow.

The praises of her lover now sit upon her lips; his image is displayed as she dances and sways to his drumbeat. The hymnbooks are no more, the choirs look like a stage show. The trumpet of praise is replaced by screaming guitar chords.

The lyrics of Jesus are no more it has been replaced by he, the new lover of her soul.

The food from above is not; bits and bytes that fade from her mind, the paper no more. The manna that fell every day is now stale as she reads her lovers new books. Novels, fiction and drama, the harlot she is.

Take away the living word her lifestyles cry. Give unto me the blessings, not the formal judgments of the love-gone bye.

Her children now set before her lover’s eyes; fifth, darkness, evil images displayed. What a charm this is she proclaims, it’s the new way. Lights and sounds that capture the mind of the youth a bitter pill to swallow this display of death, the TV, the game, the upbeat music, the clothing styles of the day now invited in the harlot life she now displays.

Don’t look back, don’t look back is the new shout from her lips. For behind her was the old ways.

No more sorrow, no more suffering, a new ring upon her hand, her old lover is no more. Forget the pass for it is washed, it is clean, move on and enjoy the benefits given unto thee she proclaims.

Live for you are! Is upon her lips.

Lies and wonders turning her head. The time of retirement is at hand enjoying the luxury of her land. Take all and be at ease for you are clothed in ways of the new man.

Ohhhhh she proclaims unto them that rebuke her for her shame and fornications.

Look. …look … at my beauty; the tall steeples to behold, and the pews empty no more, much room to grow. Head counts and so many under water, they pass from death to life now sitting in coffins shaped as pews.

LOOK …. Look she shouts, I am used to prophecy, I am used to reach the lost, hands that heal the sick ... my formal lover has not left my side.

Yet He says unto her through the mouths of the broken hearted

“Thou has committed fornication with the Egyptians; Thy increase of your flesh has provoked me to anger. Behold my out stretched hand of judgment is now upon thy. My word is no longer food for thy. You the whore unstable in all your ways. The harlot you played never being satisfied, consuming the flesh of the land. In debt; you be owned by your new lover, payment now due."

"Ohhhhh how weak is your heart, the things you now do your fathers from the grave cast the first stone."

Thou were an harlot held by a hiring, bought with a price, a wife that committeth adultery, which now taketh strangers instead of her husband! "The gifts I’ve given unto thy, my truths you laid aside to mingle with the other whores of the religious land.

Don’t you see none, no not one followeth thee in thy ways. No the other whores don’t bow before thy truths. You the adulteress have left My path to prance along with the whores of unrighteousness."

Is not the ways of the other whores contrary to my word? Yet thee play along with them sleeping in their bed with their lover, the fornicator of your soul.

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: “They filthiness shall be poured out for all to see. Thy nakedness on display for all to behold. Thy idols, which are an abomination unto me, shall consume thy wealth. Because, thou as a women played the harlot our wedlock is broken. In my fury and jealousy I will give unto thee what thou does desire. Into the hands of them that hate thee do I place. Your high places are no more, they shall strip thee of all and naked shall ye be. Much company from about all your enemies’ to behold; shall stone thee with they reaped desires.

Fires upon your house tops, land sourced bare, the judgment upon thee is the sight of many shall be."

The harlot you shall not be for your worldly lover shall flee for my fury shall consume your land. "Have you forgotten my ways?" Saith the LORD? "Love not the world. Love not the things of the world." Did thou forget how a dog returns to their vomit, a swine back to the pen of filth, no more clean.

Let this proverb be true unto thee “As is the mother, so is her daughter.”

Thou sayest in thy heart “I walked not after the abominations of the world.” I tell you, your hands have the stains of Sodom upon them, the toils of your reaping.

Behold I show unto you the iniquity of your heart. "Pride has crept in to your high place, proclaiming my truths to better yourself. The fullness of your flesh is but the stale bread of the land. The abundance of idleness hath taken over your heart, as you have not strengthened the poor and needy."

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

"To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."

For a perfect heart and a willing mind are joined together, and they are merged with God's will

"...Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days." 1 Kings 15:14

Asa failures were recorded to give a greater attractiveness to his sincerity, which-in spite of his sins - won a good testimony from God's own mouth.
"And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart." 2 Chronicles 25:2
Amaziah actions were good but his attitude was faulty and turned his right into wrong.
So we see how Asa's uprightness supported him in the midst of many short comings, but hypocrisy condemned Amaziah as he did what was right yet not with a perfect heart.
How much more do we as children of God need to server Him with 'sincerity?'

For a perfect heart and a willing mind are joined together, and they are merged with God's will.
" ...That ye may a that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Philippians 1:10

For it is by grace yea shall stand and it is my grace that will keep you standing.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:15-17

There is one reason our witness is so often ineffective: our hearts are divided, our affections are split, our loyalties are torn ... "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand." Matt 12:25,26

How then can our kingdom stand, if our hearts are hot one day and cold the next, rejecting sin one hour and reveling in it the next, warring with the devil one minute and welcoming him the next? No wonder we can't drive him out! Those who mingle and mix with satan will never gain the mastery over him.

But, how painful yet true-we really are in a struggle. No one said it would be easy!
Peter spoke of "... abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;" 1 Peter 2:11

James spoke of the " lusts that war in your members? James 4:1

Paul counseled Timothy to "...Flee also youthful lusts:... 2 Tim 2:22

It is only when we have "done all, to stand." Eph 6:13

But, how powerful and how gloriously true! We can stand. There is a place of victory for the children of God! There is a place of purity! God's grace is totally sufficient. He can enable us, each and everyone of us, to do His bidding with passion, to pursue His will with joy, to follow Him whole-heartedly.

Christ Jesus has risen from the dead! In Him we are raised too! His life has now become ours. It is "Christ in you" which is the hope of glory. Let's allow Him to live through us!

In the Old Testament, people were clothed with the Spirit and gripped by the Spirit.

However we have been immersed in the Spirit and filled with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit now inhabits us! Clothed, gripped, immersed and filled, that is the equipping of the LORD for His children.

In the Old Testament, people like Job "was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. Job 1:1 They were called to "...love the LORD, hate evil! Ps 97:10, to "Hate evil, love good; ... " Amos 5:15 and "... to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? Mic 6.8

We are certainly not called to anything less.

We have been given the very armor of God! He has clothed us with His righteousness. The armor we are called to put on is the armor God Himself 'wears.'

We put on the helmet of salvation (Eph 6:17) and so does He (Is 59:17).

He is the man of war (Ex 15:3) and we are called to “...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. “ (Eph 6:10).

We fight His battles in His strength. We go to war with His arsenal. Yes, the weapons we fight with have ‘divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor 10:4)

For everyone born of God overcomes the world.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?1 John 5:4-5

There is a place He is calling us to, a place of refuge and life. We have a divine invitation. He is saying, “coming away from your effort, Come away from your striving, Come away from the filth and the stench and enter the hiding place. Enter the strong tower my fortress divine. Seek my face and ye shall behold Me.”

Then emerge clothed with fire, clothed with power, clothed with authority, clothed with the very nature of Me. Arise and scatter the enemy! Give chase to the devil and his hosts! Confront the world and its sin. Speak up to hypocrisy and pride. Renounce ungodliness and greed, rebuke immorality and murder. Reject the lust and lies and purse my righteousness with the faith and love I have given unto you. Strive for peace with those who call upon my name out of a pure heart.

For it is by grace yea shall stand and it is my grace that will keep you standing.

living God

Daniel 6:25-28

delivereth: To leave, to let go (Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Hebrews 11:33)

rescueth: To disentangle; hence to free from difficulties or one's lack of trust in God. (And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. 2 Thessalonians 3:2,3)

power: A hand, the open one (To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13)

lion: (Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 peter 5:8)

God could have prevented Daniel from being thrown into the lion's den ... But He chose to let Daniel be put in with the lions, that the faith of Daniel may be seen and heard of by all men as he proclaimed, "My God shall rescue me from the hand of the evil one."

God shut the mouths of the lions so that no harm came Daniel's way. Through this difficulty of Daniel's, God was glorified in so much that the king declared that Daniel serves a 'living God,' whose kingdom and power is here today, tomorrow, and for ever more available to them who put their faith and trust in our God.

Daniel 6:25-28

25Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
26I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
27He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
28So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

The Godhead

The Godhead ("...we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. Acts 17:29)

* If there are any other gods, God doesn't know them! (Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 44:8)

* If there is another name of God, it is not for salvation (Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12)

* If there are 'parts' to the Godhead, they're all in Jesus! (For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 1:19;2:9)

* If there are other 'persons' or gods, they don't have any power! (And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18)

* There is ONE person of God, and its expressed image is Jesus (Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Hebrews 1:3; And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. John 20:28)

* There is only one TRUE God and in Him is eternal life! (And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3; And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20; For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; John 5:26; Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25)

* There is only one WISE God, and He is our Savior! (To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:25; Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. Isaiah 45:15; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. Romans 9:5)

* All we are going to see of our one true, wise God is Jesus Christ! (Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Hebrews 1:3; No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18; All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37; And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:17-18)

* He presents the Church to HIMSELF! (That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27)

* So to Him be glory and majesty, dominion and power, now and forever! Amen (To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:25; But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18)

* If you don't have this revelation of Jesus you don not have life! (I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:5,6; But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Corinthians 8:6)
