GOD forgets because he forgives unconditionally

Greetings in Jesus name.

I am a New Testament Covenant Christian that knows that God not only forgives me of my sins but He also remembers them no more. I take this truth of the heart of the Father and can abide within His presences for I am in Him and are 1 through Christ, and His heart is now my heart. For He has taken away the heart of stone and giving me His heart. A heart that not only forgives it forgets!

I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."—Ezekiel 36:26.

I know that the thought of sin has been put away from God's heart and the love of sin has been put away in my heart by the infilling of His love (Holy Spirit). I now live and act and conduct my life before all as a Christ (within). I know when I came to the knowledge of my sins how heavy they were and I was so weighed down by them I thought no god would forgive me. However, I learnt that was not the case with the Father of love who looked past my sins to see one needing His gift of salvation.

It was the revelation of the lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. It was the message of grace and truth that turn my life from darkness to light from hate to love. I now hate one thing and that is sin. I now forget one thing and that is sin. I know the heart of the Father's is consuming me and I am forgiving and forgetting to all I meet.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Isaiah 43:25

The LORD calls me to forgive my worse enemies and those that have harmed me the most may be the hardest but I am given His heart of love and see as He does and forgives and forgets as He does. When I forgive and forget what my enemy has done unto me I do it from the new heart that has been given unto me … His heart.

I know I have forgiven them, because I have the mind of Christ and desire to live as He in this world I accept the truth of not only forgiving but forgetting. For if do not forget what they did unto me than I do not hold to the heart of my Father who forgets my wrongs and there is a danger in that leading to bitterness and anger against them, causing a root of bitterness to spring forward.

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. Isaiah 38:17

I know many who say ' I forgive you' yet their fruit of not forgetting does not match up with their saying concerning forgiving, and they are bitter and hostile towards those that have wronged them.

Does this not show their enemy that they have not been forgiven?

For their "not forgetting" still holds them accountable with that horrid memory of what they did to them?

GOD forgets because he forgives unconditionally.

True forgiveness from the heart of a born again child of God is one that forgives and forgets.

"and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more. Jeremiah 31:34

Living and walking in forgiveness is to be the one that knows "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. They chose to not remember what others have done to them but forgiving and forgetting them of their acts will stop a 'root of bitterness' to spring forward because of a past transgression done against them.

"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;…" Hebrews 12:15

It's the 'not forgetting' that will feed the bitterness in the heart of the child of God! For Jesus told His Disciples to 'forgive' from the heart and this means to forgive and forget choosing not to hold them accountable after forgiving.

The heart of the Father is a extended hand to mankind. He has no cloud of sin before him for the High Priest entered the temple and washed it clean with His blood, the lamb that taketh away (from God's sight) the sin of the world. There is no sin between heaven and earth just the mediator between man and God. Any person can turn to the LORD and receive the pardon of their sins by calling on His name. The pardon of sin is extended to anyone and God does not see sin but the death of His Son. When one repents God forgives and forgets and gives unto the one the heart of His. A forgiving and forgetting heart.

For to forget is to show to the one that the sin the action never occurred. But to forget not is to hold within the act the memory of the offensive sin.

Isaiah 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

By faith I see upon the throne my King, My Priest applying and revealing the power of His finished work for me. For now He is perfecting me for eternal life with Him.

It is not my promise or oath I stand upon in faith, but the Lord's! For when He saith "their sins will I the LORD God remember no more" is where I stand assurded. Through water baptism in Jesus name and the infilling of His Holy Ghost I have total remission for my sins. For I know that by the one offering of Christ, God can perfect me forever for I live in His sanctified life.

Christ is the door to a new relationship with God. I can now come before the LORD for my sin has been fully put away from Him and He receives me into His fellowship as one who have been sanctified in Christ.

By the blood, by the blood I now have my being in the Holy of Holiest. For the finished work of Christ has given me a new way into the perfection promised unto them that believe.

My only desire now is to live a life of believing and abiding in the presences of my God! And this I know I am for He has given unto me His Holy Ghost to bear witness within my spirit that I am a son of God!

I now by the grace and truth that abides in my heart that the Lord has taken away the Old Covenant and has given unto me the promise of a better and New Covenant. I see through His Spirit of truth that death and the devil have no hold of my new life. I now enter into His throne room the Holy of Holiest by a better way, Christ Jesus. For by the sacrifice of one sin is now put away and by one a new way is offered unto me. For His Holy Ghost beareth witness with me that I am His and it is His heavenly life given unto me. I now abide within Him and the power of His promises are and shall be fullfilled in me no matter what others may say!

Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,

I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, this also shall God reveal unto you: only, whereunto we have attained, by that same rule let us walk. Philippians 3:12-16 (ASV)

hold the truth in unrighteousness

Does the Apostle or Prophet feel like they are stuck in the miry mud of the world? Learning there is no refreshing of any kind in the cistern of this age. Only to be stuck thrashing in the midst of the church getting mud on themselves in their eyes and at times tasting the mud of the world. Don't feel alone for that is where the Lord has them that are called to be His end time servants. Soon the rags of heaven will pull you forth to arise with the word of the Lord afresh in your heart a mouth of fire judgement upon the land.

Lets look back a few 1000 years to a Brother and one who suffered before us. Jeremiah the Prophet who the Lord spoke to concerning the sins of Israel.

In Jeremiah 37 and 38 we read how Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchijah heard the words that Jeremiah was speaking to all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord, ‘He who stays in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live and have his own life as booty and stay alive.’ Thus says the Lord, ‘This city will certainly be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it’”

Jeremiah speaks of the defeat of Israel and of the city of Jerusalem. He even warns those who do not pay heed to such a word, that they are going to perish. What! Proclaims the mouths of a nation 'God is for us!' 'He will not pass such judgment upon us!' Look about you Jeremiah the temple is still standing and we have the ark, the very presences of the Lord. How can you proclaim such judgement upon us, His people.

How much today do them that are the called of the LORD hear the same cries from them within the church, the body of Christ. What judgement! Look at us, America! God's blessed nation! No judgment shall fall upon us before He comes to take us home. No judgement upon us for our sins of worldly entertainment, pleasures and the lusts of the flesh. Forbid them Prophets to speak. Forbid them to proclaim judgement upon the people keep them under lock and keep. We desire nothing more than the blessing of the Lord.

Yet, Jeremiah was calling for destruction, just as the Lord is going to judge His bride today and we need to make our peace with that.

For the time is come that judgment 'must' begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:17,18

Wake up people of the Lord! For what can be shaken shall be shaken soon. Holiness shall be the dress of the bride, righteousness shall be her vail for He shall present to Himself a "glorious church," Not! yes not having fault or winkle but that she shall be holy and without blemish. The Lord Himself shall bring forth from His throne them that shall make her ready for His return and she shall receive what they have to say for He shall confirm their words with His judgments.

We see this in Jeremiah when he was hated for the truth he preached for the officials said to the king, “Now let this man be put to death, inasmuch as he is discouraging the men of war who are left in this city and all the people, by speaking such words to them; for this man is not seeking the well-being of this people, but rather their harm. So King Zedekiah said, “Behold he is in your hands; for the king can do nothing against you”

A king like that abdicates his own responsibility to make ultimate judgments, particularly about prophets of God, deserves judgment; And nothing has changed. Many today in the church are very much of the same spirit. They work according to the people and their itching ears. Its not about the kingdom of heaven, its about bigger and better buildings. Its about what they drive, what they wear and where they stay when they travel around proclaiming the compromised messages of today.

Ohhhhhh don't get me wrong, their are men of God proclaiming 'Thus saith the LORD' and many more shall stand and not only proclaim it but shall see 'Thus saith the LORD, moving in the land!'

Yet they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchijah the king’s son, which was in the court of the guardhouse. Now in this cistern there was no water but only mud, and Jeremiah sank in this mud. Do you see it Apostles and Prophets of the LORD? Here is Jeremiah with no word on how long he will be in the mud or even if he was going to make it out alive. There is no given knowledge concerning what Jeremiah felt or thought, just a drop in the mud to die. No voice from above whispering in his ear 'I'll save you hold on!' No verses to pull out and quote. No! Just a man that spoke on behalf of Him who sits upon the throne!

Through my trails and tribulations I to have felt like Jeremiah stuck in the mud of this world finding no relief, no water to quench my dead desires only the bread and drink from heaven's throne. Hanging on to past victories that He has claimed in my life. Knowing even now that if it pleases the Lord, it will be the end. But if it pleases the Lord, then there is no pit too deep, too remote or too hidden that He cannot find and rescue me from. His promises that I've hidden in my heart will ringing out the victories for He, the Lord on high hides my life in His hand and though death stand before me I shall proclaim 'thus saith the LORD!'

Jeremiah suffered for his obedience to God. A man crying in the land “Thus says the Lord, ‘This city is going to be captured….’”, he was inviting this kind of reaction. He did not have his own self-interest at heart, but was bringing upon himself the logical response that his statement would make in his obedience to God. Persecution is proportionate to obedience. God does not call His to the things that are trifles, but to obedience in the things that necessarily will antagonize and go across the grain of the Church and what people want to hear.

There is no light in the world's cistern. It is not a place for a child of God to call their home. But rather to hold water in a dark and cold place. Well, all the water was gone. Only the mud remained. Can you imagine going into that mud? I can almost see the Prophet slipping and sloshing, tasting it; it is in his eyes and mouth and his hair is covered in this mud.

Is this what God has planned for the last day Apostles and Prophets? Is this the fate of them that are before His throne of grace and truth seeing what the Church ought to be and not what she is now.

A babylonian whore flirting with the world, finding no water to quench her thirst. God is no longer her love but a way of escape. A relationship built upon broken promises of a woman adored for Him and Him alone.

Spare not men of God for He will not let them who proclaim His word to this dying generation to be hidden in the cistern of the church. For our Ebed-melech shall come with the way to escape.

Ebed-melech took the king's men under his authority and went into the king’s palace to a place beneath the storeroom and took from there worn-out rags and let them down by ropes into the cistern to Jeremiah. Do you think that this is a trivial detail? Can you see that God’s deliverance is always the employment of the lowest of the low, the thing that is the least prestigious, the most insignificant, the poorest, the most despised – rags!! What is wrong, didn’t they have a decent harness in the kingdom appropriate to a prophet? No, they let down some old clothing and rags to pull the prophet out of the pit. This is prophetic from beginning to end. The Lord Himself has got to be our dependency, and it is He who always chooses the foolish and weak thing. Spare not Apostles and Prophets in fear that you are not good enough to proclaim, that you are not trained enough to proclaim. Just proclaim "Thus saith the Lord" and if He is with you He shall do what you proclaim for its His judgements upon His bride to be.

We now see Ebed-melech the Ethiopian say to Jeremiah, “Now put these worn-out clothes and rags under your armpits under the ropes”; and Jeremiah did so. So they pulled Jeremiah up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern, and Jeremiah stayed in the court of the guardhouse.

The king then sends for the prophet and said to him, “I am going to ask you something; do not hide anything from me.” Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “If I tell you, will you not certainly put me to death? Besides, if I give you advice, you will not listen to me.” But King Zedekiah swore to Jeremiah in secret saying, “As the Lord lives, who made this life for us, surely I will not put you to death nor will I give you over to the hand of these men who seek your life.” Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “Thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘If you will indeed go out to the officers of the king of Babylon, then you will live, this city will not be burned with fire, and you and your household will survive. But if you will not go out to the officers of the king of Babylon, then this city will be given over to the Chaldeans; and they will burn it with fire, and you yourself will not escape from their hand.’

Then King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, “I dread the Jews who have gone over to the Chaldeans, lest they give me over into their hand and they abuse me.” But Jeremiah said, “They will not give you over. Please obey the Lord in what I am saying to you, that it may go well with you and you may live. But if you keep refusing to go out, this is the word that the Lord has shown me: Then behold, all of the women who have been left in the palace of the king of Judah are going to be brought out to the officers of the king of Babylon, and those women will say, ‘Your close friends have misled and overpowered you; while your feet were sunk in the mire, they turned back’.

Here is a prophecy of what would befall the king, his entourage, his family, and the nobles if he refused to surrender. He did in fact refuse, and everything that Jeremiah said came true. The city was burned with fire, all of Zedekiah’s sons were killed before his face, and then his eyes were gouged out. The last thing he saw was the murder of his sons, and then in chains, he was taken to Babylon to live the rest of his life as a prisoner.

Let the word of the LORD show you Church that they who hear the prophetic word and then ignore it will bring upon themselves a final blindness. You cannot hear the word of God and the prophetic word casually, as if there is no consequence. Either it is going to open your eyes to greater degree of seeing or it is going to bring a deepened darkness. When the Prophet speaks froth the word of the Lord, you better heed what is being said.

The remarkable thing about this is the judgment of God, that through the Gentiles, who have no knowledge of that God, let alone of being instructed by Him came the gouging out of the king's eyes.

So complete is the sovereignty of God in honoring the prophetic word that it was fulfilled right through to the letter. The king was told, “If you surrender, your family will be preserved, the city will be preserved, and your own life will be preserved.” He chose not to surrender: It was the fear of man and what might fall on him through man that kept him from obedience to God. The fear of man was greater than the fear of God, and the worst thing fell upon him that men could ever have done.

Wake up Church judgement is standing at the door of you heart! You who have shut yourselves in with your desires of the world shall know it is time to decide whom thou shall follow!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; ....

Saved From What?

I keep hearing and reading the same line over and over. "I am saved." But what are you saved from? Most of you will answer "Hell." Now this question stands!

Did Jesus save you in your sins, or from your sins?

If you answered "in your sins" then according to scripture, "You are DEAD!

As far as God is concerned, our practice of sin places us in a state in which we are dead to him!

"The wages of sin is death" [Rom. 3:23].

Sin tries to take advantage of our desires, and if it does, can lead to spiritual death-[see James 1:13-15]. In scriptures, death includes the idea of separation. [e.g., physical death is the separation of body and spirit]. [see James 2:26]

Eph. 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; :2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: :3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

All who are outside of the Lord Jesus Christ are "dead in sin." Those who are "dead in sin" are separated from the Lord and all the blessings that would otherwise come from union with Him. [see Isa. 59:1,2]

That is how the gospel addresses the "result" of sin: In every sense that that sin results in death.

"Spiritual death," or separation from God. Such separation exists in this life, but even more so in the life to come! And the "second death." [see Rev. 21:8]

"His name shall be called Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins" [Matt 1:21].

If a person still practices sin after claiming salvation, from what do you think you have been saved from? Certainly not sin. Jesus did not come to save us in our sins but "FROM OUR SINS." When a person is saved, they will stop sinning. Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, "Go and sin no more." He did not say, "Go, sin a little bit every day." Nor did he say, "Of course I know you will sin, because my commandments are so hard and unreasonable, I don't really expect anyone to always obey."

SIN NO MORE! A Christian is one who has been saved from their sins. A Christian obeys the Lord. Listen to His word: "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepth not his commandments, is a lair, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected" [1 Jn 2:3-5].

A Christian walks in the light he has with a right intention of heart.

"Whatsoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed [God's word] remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God" [1 Jn 3:9], is another example of this truth.

The born again person "cannot sin." Studying the context of the verse above, we understand it to mean that the Christian is able not to sin. Not that they are unable to sin.

We are called Christians, children of God. We have the family name to consider. How can we call ourselves Christains and lie, steal, cheat, lust or be intemperate, etc. "God forbid" that we should sin! We refuse to sin. We hate sin. We love the Lord. We love His commandments.

Sin is the result of a lack of love for the Lord and our neighbors. It is choosing to put self ahead of the Lord and our fellows. Loving the Lord means doing what he tells us to do, and really, that isn't hard at all." Sin is the result of lack of faith in the Lord to deliever us from sin. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [Eph. 2:4-10]

How are we set free from sin?

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It happens when we are baptized into Christ, which was a baptism into His death. [See Rom. 6:3-4]

It is IN BAPTISM that one is "CRUCIFIED WITH HIM (CHRIST)" [see Rom. 6:6]. It is IN BAPTISM that we DIE TO SIN, and then are "FREED FROM SIN" (it's guilt, consequence, and power) [see Rom. 6:7] Notice that our STATE in regards to SIN has changed (and also our state in regard to God, as well!) Before baptism into Christ, we were dead IN sin. But after baptism into Christ, we are dead TO sin, and ALIVE TO GOD! This change takes place in baptism through faith in the working of God!

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [Colossians 2:11-13]

Using the figure of "circumcision," Paul states "how" and "when" our sins were "CUT AWAY."

It was WHEN we were buried with Christ in baptism! Though "dead in trespasses" we were made alive! [remember Eph. 2:4-10?] HOW? We were raised...Through FAITH (this is man's part, expressed by submitting to the command of baptism)

In the WORKING OF GOD (this is God's part, who through His grace cleanses us by the blood of Christ and by His Spirit causes us to be "born again" [Jn 3:5; Titus 3:5] Yes, baptism is a "working of God" by which He imparts wonderful blessings to those who submit to it, NOT a "work of man" by which one tries to earn or merit salvation!)

So when a person is baptized as a penitent believer [one who believes in Christ and has repented of their sins)... God performs a "spiritual operation" (the "circumcison of Christ")! He who was dead in sins has his sins removed (through the blood of Christ shed in His death) And thus he is made alive! Coming forth from the watery grave, he is being raised together with Christ [Col. 2:12], having in baptism "put on" Christ...

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ [Gal. 3:27]. This is how one REALLY receives Jesus Christ into their life; not by saying "the sinner's prayer", but by submitting to the command of Christ to be baptized into His death for the remission of sins!

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 1Pet. 1:22

When one is baptized in the name of Jesus for the remmision of sins, they SHALL receive the Holy Ghost [Acts 2:38]. There is the power to live according to God's commandments. As Peter said; " in obeying the truth through the Spirit." That is one's victory in this world that we are in.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 Jn 4:4

Paul in Galatains 5:16-18, again gives us the victory ". . .Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall NOT fulfil the lust of the flesh." "O bless the Lord, He is in us to give us the victory."

SANCTIFIED PERFECTED FOR EVER

There is more than just being cleansed from sin. I have been set into a new sphere and power of God's holiness. I now am sanctified from the old me, from my will and been given the power to live and do His will. This world, the sins about me, the old frank is dead and hid in Christ through faith and water baptism.

For by the death of one man I have been perfected for ever. For I now set my course of life for His will and He has set me into His kingdom to do His will in and through me. For all that was needed to give life unto me was done completely in Christ.

As I look to the cross I see what the man Christ has done for me. In His sacrifice He not only perfected Himself, but He perfected me and has invited me into a fellowship with Him by the blood of the new covenant. His perfection is mine, His righteousness is mine, His life now mine for I been born again of water and Spirit. His perfect human nature is now my nature and I have been bought with a price. His death, His life, mine forever more!

Living unto Him dead unto me.

I understand this new life I live is not a life unto self but a heart given to do His will. For I know the whole of evil and the ruin of sin is that mankind turned from God's will to do His own. Christ redemption work is to restore mankind back to God to do His will. It is the Holy Spirit within me that confirms me into a life that desires to do His will. I act, I believe and I live a life dead to the old man, dead to the rudiments of the world and most of all dead to my will. I now live a life within the veil a life alive unto God sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.

My body is no longer mine but His. He has prepared me this new life and I must live a life that is ready at any moment to do His will not mine. For I am but a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto Him.

In this body "grace and truth" will reign and triumph. I have been redeemed of the old man and now become a temple for Hi Holy Spirit. I have been baptized into Christ's death and now am a member of His body. The life now that I live is given unto me so that I would be sanctified unto Him and walk in His perfection free from the power of sin and me.

So many believers live upon the milk of God's word and their flesh is the greatest hindrance to the new Christ life. If they but bow before His throne and receive the meat of His word they will learn to offer up themselves unto Him as a living sacrifice. Instead of living dead to the old man they allow Him to control the life they now live to bring them back to bondage of sin.

I pray the Father that they who read this would receive such light into the truth of the redemption offered unto them that they in love would offer themselves up to Him as a living sacrifice ... In Jesus name!!!
