The power of sin was our veil between God and us. But God is a God of His word and He promised mankind a saviour. The word was made flesh, God Himself partook of that flesh and blood and that flesh walked before mankind as the Son of God; who was our ransom so that we may have "boldness to enter into the Holy Place!" Let us draw near.
---------------------------------
Through the rent veil of Christ I can come before my Lord and partake with His power, His holiness, His righteousness, His life, His heaven; all because the lamb of God His only Son gave me access to the throne by his blood!

Being made in likeness of men, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient even unto death. Wherefore also God highly exalted Him. Philippians 2:8
-----------------------------------
Through His path of obedience, self-sacrifice and suffering the Son opened a path for us to follow in. "Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:10

"And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."—John 12:23-25.
------------------------------------
This "new and living way" that Christ has opened unto us will never decay or wax old. For the same Holy Spirit that gave the Son of Man the power to live the self-sacrificely life is now within the born again believer. We need to submit to His Holy Spirit and allow Him to take possession of us, and in His power we follow in the footsteps of Christ; the only way into the Holy Place, which is the living way of perfect conformity to Christ by His Spirit!
------------------------------------
As I spend time in His word I begin to see that the only way to be made free from my fallen nature, with the curse and power of sin resting on it, is to die to it! Just as Christ Jesus denied Himself, would do nothing tom please the flesh He had taken, sinless though it was in Him; He denied it, He died to it. This was His path of life a living path for us to follow in. For the same power that abideth in Him, the Holy Spirit now has been given unto them that have been born again of water and Spirit. It will be a life of obedience unto death!
-----------------------------------
The way of life is the way of death! "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: ...... Ephesians 1:19-21
-----------------------------
This fallen flesh, this self, is so sinful and so strong, there is no way of deliverance but by death!

A Testimony of True Spiritual Transformation will Always Drive the Establishment Crazy

Greetings in Jesus wonderful name.

The Lord never ceases to speak to the heart of His children if they continue to incline an ear to hear.

The gospel of today has drift away from being a confrontational gospel. The enemy has won the battle by placing the call to confront the lost upon the pastor or evangelist. Christians have opt to just give money in hope it will help reach the lost, forgetting they were called to win the lost at any cost themselves.

One can see in the Bible how the world hated Jesus. He made people uncomfortable as He exposed their sin. He rebuked the unrighteousness and He would not compromise when He stood before the so-called men of God of His days.

He would not hold back.

We know the outcome of His life, for He was nailed to a tree by a godless world ...

My question for you is "Why should it be any more different for us!

I can see how He was rejected yet today the Church desires to be respected.
I know He was regarded as radical; yet the Church wants to be recognized as reasonable.
The religious leaders of His day accused Him of having demons; yet today they who minister have many degrees.
Jesus was not welcomed where ever He went today the Church longs to be taken in.
Jesus did not put stock in the praise of man; most today thrive on it.

I ask you this; "Is it any wonder the Church of today makes so little impact for Him in their community?"

The New Testament is beyond any words I can form concerning what has been given unto us concerning the promised Messiah. We can look deep within and see men that many would cast out of their buildings in fear he might carry a disease. Better yet they would label him a mad man for he had no man of God over him to guide him on what they call the straight path. No these men were not worth of anything but to be offered for the gospel.

John the baptist was one and he was the forerunner of Christ Jesus. We can see his baptism was for repentance and when he spoke he dealt with the sins of those he confronted.

To the soldiers he said "Don't extort money and don't accuse people falsely - be content with your pay" To the tax collectors he said "Don't collect any more than you are required to" To the religious men of God he cried unto them, "You brood of vipers! Produce fruit worthy of repentance. Put no trust in your illustrious spiritual lineage" (Luke 3:13,14; Matt. 3:7-10)

John was telling them the LORD is coming and will be looking for fruits of changed lives!

John did not just stop there; he confronted King Herod and rebuked him for all his evil ways and especially for his adulterous marriage. (Luke 3:19) Do you see it Church? John standing before the King the big shot leader and John the man without a title without a degree without fear called Herod to repent!

That no fear, filled with boldness is part of the preaching of the gospel that the devil has moved out of the church and away from sinners of today!

What I noticed as I spent time studying the various testimonies of them that were spiritual transformed is they turned the world around them up side down!

John was not even called to be a preacher of judgment! "... I have been baptizing with water so that he might be revealed to Israel.” John 1:31 John was the forerunner to Christ to prepare Israel for the promised Messiah. Just as the Church is called by the power of the Holy Spirit to point people to the death and resurrection of Christ. It is by preaching against the sins of this wicked generations that will stir the souls to cry out 'what must we do to be saved?" Then and only then will they see the nakedness of their shame and the guilt of their sins will hang before their eyes and in repentance will they arise and be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of their sins.

John the Baptist had the greatest ministry of any prophet for he was called to prepare the way for the LORD. He did it by preaching repentance! Don't we see Church the word of the LORD has not changed concerning repentance but our methods have?

The Church has become more sophisticated in her ways thinking she knows well.

However when John preached the people cried out! Think about it Church. John had no Internet, no public relations; no P.A and yet huge crowds came to the banks of the river to hear this man. Today we have more media than any other generations of Christians. We have how to preach books, how to witness; we have radio, TV. Internet, cell phones and most of all the digital printing press which is able to give to any person the complete Bible in their hands.

Yet we see so many souls drifting to hell! The broad way is the only way and we don't stand at the cross roads preaching against their sins. Are we afraid of what they will think? Are we so consumed with our own desires our own problems we forget what we have been called to be.... living witnesses for Jesus Christ.... ambassadors of the Most High!

What about Stephen? Did he hide in the shelter of the fold afraid to get mud in his face for his faith? I don't know about you but this Bible says he was "full of God’s grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people." Ohhhh wait I can hear the voices in the Church sit in the pew you need a man of God to show you how to be Christ like. Come on Church lets wake up here Stephen had a true spiritual transformation that shook the world about him so much that "Opposition rose up and men disputed with Stephen." Why Church was Stephen such a threat to them around him? His testimony? NO!

His message of Christ Jesus was a menace to the religious system about him.

Do you see it Church they confront Stephen trying to break this man with their lies and half truths yet we see in Scripture "...they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking!" What a glorious testimony of a true man of God! He had wisdom from above and the Holy Spirit used this vessel to confound the wise of his day. Come on Church are we so fat with the word that we are afraid to speak against the lies that hold so many in bondage?

I don't know about you but when I look deeper into Stephen's walk I see truth that digs to the core of my foundations and shakes it for fear that I am not living up to all that Jesus has made me to be.

Look at Stephen's accusers sitting in their comfortable chairs high above all wanting to bring fear upon this one man who is so consumed with the Spirit "that his face was like the face of an angel." GLORY LORD JESUS!

Move over Moses! The burning bush and the presences of the LORD is now within a man.

Can you see it Church? There stood Stephen radiant the glory of God and not saying a word to his accusers. Ohhhhhh the battle never stops there for the devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he may tear apart with his teeth. Stephen opens his mouth and answers their question with such revelation that his accusers "... were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, and cast him out of the city, and stoned him: (Acts 6:8,9,15: 7:54-56)

Can you see it Church? Stephen was caught up and consumed. He was impassioned and so empowered that his revelation of the LORD's heart was spoken without fear and doubt. He rebuked them and reproved for rejecting the Messiah and the glory of God appeared before all and all went into a mad frenzy and stoned him to death.

Church I love to end it here but I noticed as they stoned Stephen he committed his spirit to the LORD and interceded for his assailants. There in the crowd stood a man that would forever be changed by the glorified death of a true man of God.

"And Saul was there, giving approval to his death." Acts 8:1

Could it be the sermon that Stephen spoke under the anointing of the Holy Spirit turned Saul's world upside down? Was it Stephen's dying prayer that twisted the religious zeal of Saul?

I feel it was a message of confrontation that changed Saul's life forever! For if we look closer in the Bible "... Saul just went wild, devastating the church, entering house after house after house, dragging men and women off to jail." (Acts 8:3)

Come on Church only those who are sold out to the LORD will changed any that they confront. This gospel is not for the weak of heart, it is not for the feeble of mind but it is the power of heaven for the pulling down of strong holds.

Look at what Paul said when he had to explain his message to Felix "... I (Jesus) have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister ... To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:16-18)

Yes Church Saul now is Paul one whose zeal for a religious system is now zeal for Him whose name is Jesus! Let us the Church take the mandate of the gospel to the lost in the power and might of the LORD that it be a gospel that will spiritually transform the hears so that they to will be made free from the devil!
