"...I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works." "reins" Now that is an odd word for it means = a kidney. I understand the functions of our kidney and like to look at it as our mind. Our mind filter out the debris and filth in our lives, and as the kidney our mind will regulate and control whose life will be lived in our souls - God's or our own. Lets look at the Greek word "Mind" Mind - Nous (#3563) = the intellect, the mind in thought, feeling or will; the understanding. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, G3563 that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 For who hath known the mind G3563 of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind G3563 of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; .... Ephesians 4:23 For me that is
