Ten Virgins
Today my heart is upon Matthew 25:1-13 In my studies on the Royal Priesthood and my High Priest Jesus I started to hear pieces of this parable come alive in a different way and I like to share it. To begin with "Ten" represents man's responsibility to keeping something and "Five" symbolizes God's grace, goodness and favor toward humans Oil is not the Holy Ghost (fire) but the Word of God. The Holy Ghost needs oil to continue to burn from. Now I always have raised eyebrows and again I will. In my studies I have noticed fire came from heaven to consume, it did not need any product of man’s doing to start the fire for the fire was. The fire is a consuming fire, as the oil is not a consuming product as the fire; but a product to be consumed by the fire. Now manna was said to taste like “ fresh oil ” (Numbers 11:7-9) and is the bread of heaven.
