Jesus Christ is the resurrection!
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3 At face value it shows we were baptized into Jesus Christ's death. Now when we read on we see what Jesus Christ died to! For in that he died, he died UNTO sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Romans 6:10 So Jesus Christ died UNTO sin ..... His death was TO sin NOT a death BECAUSE of sin. So now according to Romans 6:3 this is the death into which we have been baptized! Now Paul was living on planet earth when he said, "I have been crucified with Christ." Galatians 2:20 So this crucifixion Paul was talking about was NOT his physical body, but about the body of sin! So our crucifixion (baptism) with Christ lies in our identity with Christ in His death to sin. Our death to sin frees us from the lordship of the law of sin and death.
