To Hear His Voice!

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an UNDERSTANDING HEART; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. 1 Kings 3:11-13

What a request from Solomon to have a “understanding heart to judge thy people”

A understanding heart is a hearing heart.

The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. Isaiah 50:4-5

HE WAKENS MY EAR TO HEAR as those that are willing to be taught.

My Lord Jesus blessings unto you indeed for the blood bought ear of your servants that desire to be awake in this hour to do thy Word!

My sheep HEAR my voice, and I KNOW them, and they FOLLOW me: …. John 10:27

To hear is to HEARKEN, which is a responsive action to one's hearing.



The ear within is listening for Him and not the voice of self.

The ear within hears what the Spirit has to say unto us today and they that do hear WILL NOT HARDEN THEIR HEARTS.



For they that hear are they that KNOW Him or they that have absolute knowledge of His voice without doubts or questionings. 



Much closer .... Much higher .... Much Deeper, than any other walk for this walk is pure communion that sustains and enriches them day by day to follow Him and Him alone; for they know not the voice of strangers.

One will see the voice of the Shepherd is the Spirit within and the now stranger is the carnal mind that needs to be transformed to hear and know His will.

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Job 32:8

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,

even those who by reason of use

have their senses exercised

to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:12-14
