Fiery Law 04

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced upon the Israelites before his death. He said: “The LORD came from Sinai and dawned upon us from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran and came with myriads of holy ones, with flaming fire at His right hand. Deuteronomy 33:1,2

All of God's judgement is a "fiery law."

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; EVERY man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; YET SO AS BY FIRE. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15

Can we not see this judgement is for them that have built upon this foundation .... which is Jesus Christ? The Apostle Paul then discusses the works of the Christian in terms of what he builds upon that Foundation ... gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. AND yes some Christians will find them selves at the second resurrection, the judgement seat and their fire (judgement by law) shall judge what they have built upon Jesus the Christ!

And by the Holy Spirit let me tell you that this one whose works are unacceptable, he will still be saved, yet will suffer loss, for the fiery law of God will burn up all the dross.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Timothy 2:20

I had a dream and in it I was in a room full of young children. In the midst of the children was a wooden dresser and I found myself teaching them NOT TO EAT THE WOOD!

The same law that judges the unbelievers will be the law that judges this ones who are in the second resurrection! The only difference is that they will be given life after their works have been tested and revealed in the fire, while the unbelievers themselves will be brought into a longer and more severe judgment as prescribed in the "fiery law."

Before I close off I want to share one more parable that Jesus uses to teach concerning them that partake in the first resurrection!

Then Jesus said to the man who had invited Him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or brothers or relatives or rich neighbors. Otherwise, they may invite you in return, and you will be repaid. But when you host a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind, and you will be blessed. Since they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” Luke 12:12-14

To be in the first resurrection one must be full of grace and love as our heavenly Father is! This is the highest form of love, for it is the love of God. See God's love is unconditional love. It is as He is selfless and giving without want payment back!

Just as in the parable Jesus is teaching a principle of selfless giving with no thought of receiving in return. This kind of love will will be recompensed at the resurrection of the righteous. It is a MATURE LOVE in that as He is so are they in this world!

This one that is to rule with the Lord Jesus is one that holds no grudges and forgives ALL from his heart the sins (debts) of those who have transgressed against him.

"...And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. ..." Luke 11:4
