Draw Nigh to Father

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Rom 8:34)

Our High Priest never ceases to make intercession on our behalf. It is through our High Priest that the Father’s will for our lives are revealed. Because He ever lives to make intercession without one moment’s intermission, therefore He is able to save completely.

Since our High Priest ‘abides for ever,’ because ‘He ever lives to make intercession; therefore ‘He is a Priest for ever,’ who exercises every function of His office in an endless life-power, that never for a moment intermits its action. ‘He is able to save completely’ in Himself. He has been ‘perfected for evermore’ with Himself and ‘He hath perfected for ever’ them that are sanctified with Himself.

The gift of salvation that He has shaped out is a life in the opened sanctuary of His presence in the keeping power of His Spirit,’ all that we need to do is abided in Him for He is faithful to keep us. He showed us His saving power when He prayed for Peter that his faith might not fail. ‘He is able to save completely’ them that are faithful to Him looking to Him as their High Priest.

To 'draw nigh to God’ is a life that is ours and a dwelling place in the Holy of Holiest offered to all where we can dwell there day and night, spending our life there, abiding there continually. It is only those who believe it to be possible, that will give themselves up to it. It is only those, who forsake all, to give themselves up for it, that it will be possible.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (Heb 7:25)
