Destruction

 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.

The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Gal 6:7,8

Sat here reading Gal 6:7,8 and wonder why 'man?'

Man is spirit and if you sow to the flesh (carnal mind) you will FROM THE FLESH reap destruction.

Now 'destruction' is NOT DEATH, BUT it is the pulling down the throne from a higher state to a lower state.

The body is the temple of Father's and when one obeys the carnal mind they bring the body down from Father's to one's self.

In doing so that temple is now being defiled!

But this is not the way you came to know Christ. Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him—in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus— to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph 4:20-24
