Born Agin

Bless the LIVING Father.

Living ... A word one takes notice of for that one HAS been born from above by the LIVING WORD!

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth (living) and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

In religion I taught that in order to present doctrine one needed 2 or more scriptures.

It is how we proved Matthew 28:19 wrong for only once is it mentioned ....Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Yet .... When I looked at the scriptures on being born again I only had one with the word 'water' in it.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of 'water' and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

The other 2 --->Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

and--->Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

So, Yes I asked others why we emphasize water when water is only in one of the 3 verses and yet we say you must have 2 to prove a doctrine. Well I can tell you it is easier to be ignored than to be dealt with.

Now I don't want to go in a war concerning baptism and water and how it must be to be born from above. However, I will say you MUST be born from above by the LIVING Word!

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the WORD, ... Eph 5:26

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) John 7:37-39

The living Word is the water of life and one needs that to be born from above!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made" John 1:1,3

God is the Word and the Word is God. For, the Word is the Spirit and the Spirit is the Word.

The power of Father's Word lies not in the act of speaking, but in the fact that it is a LIVING WORD.

"For the Word of God is LIVING and powerful...." Heb. 4:12

The Word is LIVING because it is Spirit. "It is the spirit that quickeneth (makes alive).. the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63

The creation was not created by the spoken word, but by the Living Word. "And the Spirit of God moved . . . and God said". Gen 1:2,3

Religion is but the dead word spoken by the carnal mind and many live by that dead word.

The people of Israel had the scriptures from the very mouth of Father and thought that in that written word, they had life.

They were wrong in that the word received at Mount Sinai was THE MINISTRATION OF DEATH!

There was no life in it!

"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament, NOT OF THE LETTER: but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious...how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious" 2 Cor 3:6-8

We are the people of the BOOK.

Gosh, I've heard over and over how the bible was the Word of God. The bible was so holy it was treated better than many people. YET! I wondered why Father stopped at the book. That is it Father? No more Word for us.

My I tell you I was sort of sad in that there was no more Word for me TODAY.

I bless Father for the Word was not made an alphabet. The Word was not made a book. The Word was not made a teaching. The Word was not made a doctrine. The Word was made flesh, God manifested in human form, the Son of God.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the LIVING God. Matt 16:16

My testimony is that I have been born from above by that SAME LIVING Word!

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9
