Weaned

 Bless the LORD our Father.

In my time of chewing I've never notice how much has been recorded concerning Isaac. It is time now to notice for in noticing I see the progressive revelation of His will coming forth upon this world.

Now to many a child being weaned don't make much sense. Here in Canada it seems a child is not weaned but given to the wolves. What I mean by that is most children by the age of 4 are sent to preschool and from there to school.

Most parents have to work, so the preschool/school becomes the teacher/parents concerning the out look in the child's life.

There was a time thou the child was weaned from mother's tent to father's tent.

And the child grew, and was WEANED: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. Gen 21:8

The child would move into the tent of the father and begin training and be brought up in the way of the father.

Now when this feast for Isaac was given it also was a moment when Ishmael was disowned.

Now lets not look at this with the carnal mind but let Father teach us what it means to be weaned from our flesh to be in Spirit!

Now in the old testament when you read "Almighty God" in the Hebrew means = the full-breasted one, the one who gives milk (shaddai = El Shaddai).

So we are seeing we MUST leave mother's side to learn the ways of the Spirit. We begin to mature in the Father’s tent, even as Jesus the Christ matured in the stature and wisdom of Father (Luke 2:52).

In Father's tent we are NO LONGER under bondage to the flesh, but we have been made free by His Truth.

Ishmael, or that carnal mind, must be cast out in order that the mind of Christ can be brought in (Philippians 2:5). We must be renewed daily (Colossians 3:10). We must come to the knowledge of who we are.

Abraham walked by faith, but Isaac walked in who he was. This can only occur when the carnal mind is given no place.

However, to many today still abide in mother's tent for the Apostle said--->I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 1Co 3:2

Only in Father's tent is the spiritual meat that one needs to mature in the stature of the fulness of Christ!

I can recall reading this one day--->Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Heb 5:11-14

After I read that I said 'Father let not my hEARt be dull of hearing BUT let my hEARt hunger for your meat.'

They who stay in mother's tent only feed from the milk, so they don't MATURE in Father's Word of life.

They stay being babies that are not able to comprehend the meat and--->For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 1Co 11:30
