Pergamos 4

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. Rev 2:14

We have seen how our thoughts if NOT CHECKED will be our Balac (king). By that, these thoughts will only keep us from maturing up, because they are but our stumblingblock (down)!

Why was this? Balac was afraid of the children of Israel that were passing by in their journey to the throne room, were going to over take him (Numbers 22:5,6)!

Now we know Balaam could not curse Israel. However he taught Balak (Balac) how to lead the Israelites into idolatry and fornication, that doing so they would forsake God and be destroyed.

Balak (Balac) =That lays waste! What is it about our self that lays waste to the Truth?

The carnal (fleshly) will always seeking to destroy the one in a journey to Truth

For Truth is the MIND OF Christ!

We as spirit are in a vessel and our soul is the actions of the vessel! Balak (carnal will) works at keeping us from the journey to the throne room by our captive will, in that we give power to the lower nature which desires its own vengeance .... its own anger .... its own way!

See in this world we act as the MAN GOD, rather than the God man!

When one acts out (soul) as the man God that one adds thoughts (fuel) to the fire (emotions) of the lower nature!

I like to see it as I hEARd it .... I was the soul of man (son of man), now born again of spirit and Truth I am a soul of God (son of God).

Look at the soul of man as taught by the Word of Life--->When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand: “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Ok let us go ..... WHAT?

“Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?

“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. “These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.” Matt 15:17-20

YES ..... What the soul of man's tongue/actions is only its OWN DESIRES ... Its own self preservation ... Its own EVIL THOUGHTS!

NOW .... Let Deep call unto deep!

And from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with its common-lands and Bileam with its common-lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath. 1 Ch 6:70

WHAT ..... BILEAM was a city of the half tribe of Manasseh, on the east of the Jordan, that was given over to the Kohathite Levites.

AND ..... Bileam is a group of thoughts that the carnal mind accumulates over time that the carnal MIND will raises up to hinder the soul on its journey!

Just an example .... I have in my own journey given my power (will) to thoughts of anger in that another could see I was angry! I did things, said things that later I regretted!

WHY?

Because the stumblingblock (carnal thoughts) tripped me up in my journey to the throne room!

Going on, Now what is this action? "...
to eat things sacrificed unto idols"

An idol is lies that the soul obeys!

When I allow my thoughts to live out of the lower nature I am giving power and glory unto the idol of SELF (I/EGO)!

It's NOT what can God do .... But its what I CAN DO.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I know Truth is knocking at that golden calf, but I tell you, let Truth cause thee to REPENT and turn from that selfish will to be a living sacrifice unto Truth!

I will not allow myself to lie, cheat and steal for my survival! I would stand out on the street corner knowing my LOVE has ALL of me and because of that Truth I will put my all (TRUST) in that LOVE!

Time to see that stumblingblock of eating things sacrificed unto idols and turn from it!

Jesus the Christ said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."
