If You Confess ....

Thanks be to the Source of Life which is LOVE for ALL and towards ALL!

This prayer that echos around the globe "If you confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead ... You shall be saved!

Contrary to the so called "salvation prayer" this does not mean that simply by saying some words you will receive salvation (wholeness).

Its quite a thing for your salvation (wholeness) to depend on believing that the Word of Life resurrected from the dead when you consider the fact that the Word of Life could not convince His disciples of such a fact. They lived with him on a daily basis, yet when the resurrection took place not one of them showed up. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

However, let’s look at this "salvation prayer" teaching.

You must confess Word of Life (Jesus) as Lord.

Yet .... In Luke 6:46 we read "Why do you call me Lord and not do what I tell you to do".

hmmmmmm ... The serious problem I see with this approach to salvation (wholeness) is that the basis for the result is one's words (prayer). YET .... Truth be seen, is that reciting something cannot bring salvation (wholeness) from anything.

Notice in the above scripture the Word of Life asks why one does not do what the Word of Life tells one to do.

Truth be ... The Word of Life never told anyone to confess anything.

Yes go ahead and find me where that Word of Life said such a thing .... fwelder59@gmail.com

For speaking, as you know, is not doing. For ... "The Kingdom of God is not in word but in power" 1 Corinthians 4:20

The Word of Life NEVER said that salvation (wholeness) could come from saying a so called sinners prayer, uttering words or making statements as so many say today.

Truth be just the opposite.

"And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: ...." Matthew 7:26

Ohhhhhhhh yes many shall hear but few will do!

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: .... Matthew 7:24

Time to hEAR and see what the Word of Life does say concerning salvation (wholeness).

Seek first the Kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33

WHAT ..... Yes the Word of Life said "SEEK FIRST"

And where is the kingdom of God? The Kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21

WOW the kingdom is WITHIN .... how many are looking skyward for some kingdom? how many look about for some kingdom?

I will say MOST!

For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14

To use the eyes is to NOT see the kingdom within! For the kingdom with can ONLY be seen by the eye!

"If your eye be single, your body will fill with light". Matthew 6:22

Notice that if your EYE be single, your body will BE filled with light.

Now this IS NOT about some heaven or hell Truth.

It is about going to the higher state of being where the throne of Life is for one to sit in!

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21

It's about being SAVED and to be saved is to be MADE WHOLE in Christ!

And to be made WHOLE is to know that the Word of Life is to be obeyed (LIVED OUT).
For the Word of Life did say "Why do you call me Lord and not do what I tell you to do".

This spoke deep in me when I read it ....Quote = "God is not creating “Do-Be’s,” but “Be-Do’s” to fulfill His purpose in creation" .... End of quote

I was in religion for many years and wondered why so many verses teach different than what I was hearing. Might explain why so many expelled me from their fellowships.

The book of Hebrews follows this same line of reasoning and eliminates the Christian theory that salvation comes to those who utter some words.

"He became the author of eternal salvation unto all of them that OBEY him." Hebrews 5:9

The key phrase is "that obey Him".

O B E Y .....hmmmmmm yes easier to say a prayer, believe some teaching or even attend a fellowship than it is to OBEY THE WORD OF LIFE!

Time to turn a ear from lies and look at the Word of Life with a single eye and behold within is the Kingdom of God.

To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Jeremiah 6:10

The wanting to become is stagnation. The "being now" is Life!"
