Hermetic 03
Without the Source of Life one would remain in matter.
Quote - The Third Hermetic Principle: Vibration
"Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates."
Having explored the First Principle of Mentalism and the Second Principle of Correspondence, we now arrive at the Third Principle—Vibration.
This principle reveals how the universe of Mind expresses itself and why Correspondence exists throughout creation.
The First Principle teaches that the universe is fundamentally mental in nature.
The Second Principle teaches that the same patterns and laws repeat throughout all levels of existence.
The Third Principle teaches that everything within this living universe is in constant motion.
Nothing is truly still.
The stars move through space.
Atoms dance within matter.
Seasons change.
Thoughts flow.
Emotions rise and fall.
Even what appears solid and unmoving is vibrating at levels beyond ordinary perception.
This is why Vibration naturally follows Mentalism and Correspondence.
If all things emerge from the Universal Mind, they must express themselves through movement.
If all things correspond with one another, there must be a common energetic process connecting them.
Vibration is that process.
The Hermetic sages observed that the difference between things is often not their essence, but their rate of vibration.
Ice, water, and steam are all expressions of the same substance, yet each appears different because of its vibratory state.
Likewise, fear and courage, despair and hope, ignorance and wisdom may be viewed as different conditions existing along a spectrum of vibration.
This principle teaches us that life is not static.
Everything is changing.
Everything is becoming.
Everything is moving toward or away from something.
The student of Hermetics learns to become conscious of the energies they cultivate within themselves. Thoughts, emotions, habits, intentions, and actions all contribute to the vibratory state through which they experience life.
As we become aware of our inner state, we begin to understand how it influences our perceptions, our relationships, and our journey through the world.
Mentalism teaches us that reality emerges from Mind.
Correspondence teaches us that patterns repeat throughout creation.
Vibration teaches us that the entire process is alive, dynamic, and continuously unfolding.
Together, these first three principles form a powerful foundation for understanding the living nature of existence.
Wise Words for Reflection
"The universe is not a collection of fixed things, but a symphony of living energies. The wise learn to listen to the music beneath the forms."

The wanting to become is stagnation. The "being now" is Life!"
