Crossing the Jordan
Quote--->The Jordan is significant in Biblical Mysticism because it represents the waters of truth that one must pass thru to be with Christ. As was already discussed water is symbolic of truth in the bible. The Jordan is the boundary between the physical realm and the spiritual realm. In the bible the only people to cross the Jordan are Christ and the biblical Israelites (biblical Jews).
The territory of Juda (the right side) went to the end of Jordan. Beyond that is the territory of man or carnal knowledge. To get to Juda, the right side of God, our carnal mind must pass thru the water of baptism or the deep contemplations of inner truths.
King David who represents our inner child, our true self, originated from the right side of Jordan. This is telling us we all originated from spirit or the right side.
“all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.”Joshua 3:17
One does not become an Israelite, a Biblical Jew, until they have contemplated the waters of deep truth (the Jordan) about themselves. Once one becomes an Israelite they can enter into no thought meditation, the Christ consciousness, without the need to repeat the water baptism.

The wanting to become is stagnation. The "being now" is Life!"
