Fall of Satan

Quote--->In Biblical Psychology, Satan is not a cosmic villain, fallen angel, or external being.

He is a symbol of the lower nature in man. The part of our psyche that resists the upward movement of the mind.

He is not a person.
He is not a rival god.
He is not an independent power.
He is a principle, a condition of consciousness.

Satan = the Adversary, the Opposer.

Satan is the opposing tendency (carnal mind) within the human constitution: the pull downward, the inertia of the lower self, the resistance to spiritual ascent, the voice of desire, fear, and self-centeredness

He is the centrifugal force that pulls consciousness outward into the senses and away from the inner center. He is not evil by creation. He is the shadow produced when the mind turns away from the truth.

Satan is the lower mind when it becomes self-centered The human constitution has higher and lower aspects. 

Satan is: the lower mind when it separates from the Higher, the desire-nature when it becomes dominant, the ego when it asserts itself as the center, the intellect when it rationalizes selfishness

He is the false center, the personality pretending to be the true self.

Satan is created good, but becomes distorted.
Nothing in the universe is created evil.

Satan represents a necessary stage in human evolution: the development of individuality, the awakening of self-awareness, the experience of separation, the struggle between higher and lower tendencies.

The “fall” of Satan is the fall of consciousness into selfhood, not the fall of an angel.
