The Users Manuel for the Mind
Quote--->The bible is not a book that is supposed to be read literally as the bible itself literally says be not a minister of the letter. The bible is a product of eastern mysticism and should be read by the spirit of the message or by its symbolic teachings. Jesus was the very definition of a mystic and it says he only taught by parable. The mystics who wrote scripture were no different.
The mystics who wrote the bible were describing your mind. It is describing the different aspects of your consciousness, how it works, how to use it, and the potential consequences (psychosis) of misuse.
The bible is literally the users manual to your mind.
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Psalms 11:5
The lord (your higher Christ consciousness) determines righteousness (right and wrong).
but the wicked (your lower carnal mind) and him that loveth violence (your desire for carnal things) his soul (your Christ being) hateth.
All the characters described in the bible are you or some aspect of yourself. We all have within us the mind of God and the mind of Satan. You are Adam and Eve and Noah. You are the serpent and you are the four horsemen.
The bible says the kingdom of God is within you. The bible means the mind of God is within you.
Kingdoms, Cities, Houses, Mansions (places where people dwell) are all representations of your mind.
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7
I (you) make peace and I (you) create evil.
I (you) the lord (of my consciousness) do all these things.
Again the only thing the bible is talking about is your mind.
The Biblical literalists will soon inundate us with "you are not God" comments. Thats ok a literalist is a minister of the letter and they do not understand that to be Lord over yourself is not the same as being God himself.
The Bible is the greatest eastern mysticism one could ever hope to study and research. Be not a minister of the letter and read the bible with understanding.
