Morning nuggets I see as I spend time with the Spirit of truth.

There is therefore NOW no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

The word 'NOW' was not just for the Apostle age but also for the age we are in. And this 'NOW' will extend into the coming of ages for now is the grace of God given so that we who are of the Spirit of truth have received the righteousness of God IN Christ Jesus.

We know that there is no judgement of guilt or no condemnation.

They that have condemnation or live under it do not know the truth concerning Christ Jesus. They that know the truth are they who are IN Christ Jesus and it is they who walk by the Spirit of truth. For the Spirit of truth shows that although all were guilty of sin, God had justified them by the death of Jesus Christ. For Christ Jesus bore the penalty and guilt of sin for all past, present, and future. And to know this is to be IN Christ Jesus for it is the anointing of the Word that is brought to life within one's mind.

The Spirit of truth is saying '...there is now, no judgment in our lives for any sin for the Lamb bore ALL.'

For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord. I Thessalonians 3:8

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. I Timothy 4:8

We have the promise of the life that NOW is ..... and of that which is to come ....our inheritance as sons and daughters of the Lord!

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. II Timothy 1:9

I at one time was a parrot for the spirit of error teaching any that to be saved one had to say a prayer, invite Jesus into their heart, believe or even be baptized. However! The Spirit of truth shows me that He has saved us, and called us, not according to what we have done, but according to his own purpose and grace.

This being saved hinged on nothing we do, say or hoops to jump through. It is His purpose and grace before the world began. This was all included in the sacrifice of Christ Jesus!!!!!!

The Apostles continues--->But is NOW made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 2 Timothy 1:10

Bless the Lord for we see this saving and calling men was done before the beginning of time, and is NOW in this age shown forth, or manifested by Christ Jesus.

The Spirit of truth shows them that are saved and called are they who have "life and immortality" Again Bless the Lord for this life and immortality is given by the GRACE of God, plus nothing and minus nothing. Meaning "He did it and there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING we do to receive it.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Act 2:47

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? Romans 8:22-24

The Spirit of truth takes us by the hand and shows us that the redemption of our bodies is the goal towards which we are moving!

We have our being in the time of the world but the Spirit of truth shows us His time to come is a time when we are no longer the FIRSTFRUITS OF THE Spirit, but that we shall be clothed upon with the new bodies He has for us and we shall forever be with our Father in Spirit!

The Father is not on worldly time nor does he base any events upon the time of the world. He acts upon His time and in His will to bring about what He has promised.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (His time).

When you see that from the beginning God has acted upon your life you will cross over to His time and no longer see the time of this world. I did not give my hEARt to the Lord 37+ years ago. He had in His time given me life 1000s of years ago. Before this world (time) was!

I by His grace have the earnest now, not the fullness; but, it is coming. I look forward to the redemption of my body, when I will be totally redeemed.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Act 1:6,7

The disciples were a now people, a people who thought in world time that the kingdom should be manifested to Israel. The Lord tells them it will be in the Father's time which has NOTHING to do with what we call time, but has to do with what He is.

We think in worldly time, we try to box God in our worldly time, we even pray as if God functions by worldly time. Time (no pun attended) Time we live and act by the time the Father is and then we shall know what His will is!

The Jewish belief was not wrong for they believed the Messiah was to come. It was their timing that was off. How much worse is this present day church that bases the return of Christ upon a doctrine called the rapture! The so called catching up of the saints to met the Lord upon a cloud and to be whisked away to a place where a mansion has been built for them, so that they can live with Him while this world faces the wrath of God and the reign of the antichrist.

Timing again has become the foe.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Hebrews 6:4-6

For many years I contended with preachers that said Hebrews 6 shows how one can be saved than lost. Time again is the foe.

Notice the word 'tasted' ahhhhhhhh yes I just tasted it .... A taste is all you get before supper. Do we see this is not the fullness of the heavenly gift nor is it the fullness of the world to come ... BUT IT IS A TASTE!

Tasting shows we may NOW experience both the good word of God and the next age, the kingdom of God. But it is ONLY a taste it is NOT the fullness.

Taste is looked at as in the MIDDLE. it is only a foreTASTE. before the meal, but while the meal is cooking you can have a taste.

"... And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, ..." Romans 8:23

And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth—the gospel of your salvation—you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the pledge of our inheritance UNTIL the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13,14

GLORY .... I have a foretaste of His redemption .... The sealing of the Holy Spirit!

I am as a can that has only one can opener! The day, the time of God's REDEMPTION!

"And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again and said, It is a good land which the Lord our God doth give us." Deuteronomy 1:25

For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:10

We must be as Abraham looking for the city to come whose builder AND maker is God! We have been given a foretaste of what is to come and the foretaste is given so that we may look to the full meal deal. Before the foundation of the world the supper was planed and started and now in the middle we have a foretaste of the planed supper of God!

Just as Abraham had a hope for this city so do we--->For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4

We can now get a taste of these things and experience them to some degree through the portion of Holy Spirit which God gave us.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (hope made them strangers). For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:13-16

They as us have foretasted the good things to come and taste is what produces hope in us all. For tasting will produces a hope for the fulfillment of these things. For manifested sons of God will be the main course; the mystery of the body of Christ, His presence as King of kings and Lord of lords to rule over the earth with a rod of iron.

Then, too, will the believers who have remained faithful rule and reign with him.
