I have never heard any use it in word or a sentence and yet I read it in the bible. "ere" = properly, meaning to glisten. So we would than read "And glisten of the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;" ... 1 Samuel 3:3 So the lamp or fire of God did not go out but the glisten of it did! MY MY MY.... I have trouble trying to find the meaning of "ere" but I think what it is saying is that they were letting the lamp go out at night. HMMMMMMMMmmmmm brings much to hEARt. Bless Father indeed. When He says "...all the earth is mine..." He is proclaiming to be the rightful owner. So now not only does He own the earth but He has within it "a peculiar treasure" that is of greater importance! And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. Ex 19:6 GLORY. His "...peculiar treasure" is NOT gold nor is it silver but it is a KINGDOM OF PRIESTS that is a holy nation that He is King/Lord over! This "...peculiar treasure" He values so much that He has it shut up in the bosom of His heart and soon will expose them so that He will reign over all the EARTH trough them! The Cross - Des Walter Now let us go back to Hebrews 2:10, "For it was an act worthy of God and fitting to the divine nature that he, for whose sake and by whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect, i.e. bring to maturity the human experience necessary for his perfect equipment for his office as high priest, through suffering." That was CHRIST. He was made perfect through sufferings. Where was the suffering? Not simply at the Cross but they began when Adam took the fruit of the tree of good and evil. Now the earth was cursed but not the man. Oh, by the way, we had better look over here at Timothy 2:11 first, because people say to me, "Adam sinned so how can he be CHRIST who never sinned?" Let the Apostle answer the question for us. Paul is speaking to Timothy his son in the faith, "Let the women learn in silence with all subjection". Hasn’t the church hammered that one. "

By that I mean is, to many times we listen to them that have not received from Father so they teach the Word of life with the carnal mind. Take 1 Cor 6:18 in hand. DEATH! Let us just reason for a moment with 1 Cor 6:18 "...Flee fornication...." hmmmm the meaning of the word 'flee' means = seek safety by flight. FLIGHT ..... what!  The Prodigal son ..... The irony of it! Sitting here listening to the Holy Spirit the prodigal son comes to my hEARt. See, so many use him as an example of how one who was saved returns back home after being back slidden. Ohhhhhhh the irony of it indeed. Let us first look at the son who did not leave the Father's house. But the 'good' son! Ahhhhhhh yes we are going to look at this 'good' son through the eye of the Spirit and undersand it by seeing the mind of the knowledge of good and evil at work within the good son. When the prodigal son came home the son that never left said unto the Father in a nut shell "I am your deserving son who stayed home and obeyed all of your commands, but you never gave me the royal treatment you lavished on your undeserving younger son.
