The name of the first book in the Bible is Genesis, which means "source or origin." It is therefore in this book that we can find the answer to the two most asked questions that occupy the minds of many people today. One is the origin of the universe, and the other is the origin of man. The law of generation is undoubtedly one of the mysteries in human consciousness. Science has discovered many of the secrets of nature, but when it comes to the secret of Life the answers become much more illusive. The search for the origin of Life and therefore of man, has always been conducted on the material level. For this reason man studies atoms and cells and DNA, because he considers these form a part of the building blocks of life. Of course in a sense they do, but we must go far beyond the material world to touch the true origin of Life.
