God's Foolish Five-Fold Ministry

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the FOOLISH THINGS of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the WEAK things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and BASE things of the world, and things which are DESPISED, hath God chosen, yea, and things which ARE NOT, to bring to naught things that are: that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

QUOTE - There are five powerful ministries listed in this remarkable passage—a FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY. Many men have aspired to be a part of God's great five-fold ministry set forth in Ephesians 4:11. Who wouldn't covet the ministry of an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor or teacher? The world has been turned up-side down by such ministries! But the five- fold ministry revealed in I Corinthians 1:27-28 has nothing to do with these ministries at all.

Rather, it is what I have termed GOD'S FOOLISH FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY.

These five ministries are just as real and far more powerful, effective and far- reaching than the more popular five-fold ministry. The five ministries mentioned in Ephesians 4:11 are exclusively for the body of Christ, for the perfecting of the saints, but the five superlative ministries set forth in I Corinthians 1:27-28 are universal in scope, Kingdom in character, subduing all things unto God.

This powerful and effective five-fold ministry shakes empires off their hinges, subdues kingdoms, confounds the wisdom of the mighty, and brings to naught all the things that are.

All those blessed ones apprehended to sonship will share in this invincible ministry. In spite of their surpassing glory and irresistible power we do not desire them, but they come to us just as surely as day follows night. They come to us unannounced and unsolicited.

None of us would invite these God-ordained ministries to come our way! But God in His great wisdom and unsearchable ways sends them to us that we may know Him as He is and learn the strange but wonderful WAYS OF HIS KINGDOM. Now that we see how important and powerful these ministries are, let me present them to you:

(1) foolish things
(2) weak things
(3) base things
(4) despised things
(5) things which are not

We need not look to the great men of this age, nor yet to the esteemed religious leaders of this age, nor the wise men after the corrupt wisdom of this age to be the ones who will bear the government of the Kingdom of God in the age and ages to come.

Seeing, then, that God has rejected the wisdom and power and honor of this world and its vain system and has chosen instead a people that the wisdom of the world considers foolish, stupid, weak and of no account, we should readily see that divine wisdom has chosen those who for His name are despised, who glory not in the wisdom of men, but who glory in the hidden wisdom of God revealed in Jesus Christ our Lord who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness, sanctification and redemption, according as it is written,

"He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord" (I Cor. 1:31).

It is interesting to note that the word FOOLISH is from the Greek word MOROS meaning "dull, stupid, heedless, blockhead, absurd." Furthermore, this Greek word is the word from which we get our English word MORON.

Ah—God has chosen a company of dull, stupid, nit-witted, heedless, absurd, moronic blockheads (by this world's standards!) to confound the irrational wise ones of this world's system!

The word CONFOUND means "to put to shame or disgrace."

Well did Ray Prinzing write: "God hath chosen what the world calls foolish, to confound the world's wisdom. Among all the descriptive phrases used by Paul, one especially stands out, when he says, 'and base things...' The Greek word for 'base' used here is: AGENES. The letter 'a' when placed in front of a word, reverses its meaning, either from negative to positive, or from positive to negative. Here it is in the latter case, and it provides for us this thought: God is going to have the ones who have boasted in their 'genes' as of royal lineage, to be confounded by those of ignoble, or common birth. Not many mighty, not many noble, are called. Thank God for those that are—but they soon learn that they have nothing to boast of in the natural, for it is only HIS LIFE IN US that is of real value. And HE can take the weakest, and the basest, and use them to BRING TO NOUGHT, to make useless, to down-idle, the things wherein men once trusted" –end quote.

There is absolutely no need for any of us to try to search out the ways, means and methods that God employs to bring His purposes to pass. For God has declared and written that He will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will even bring to nothing the wisdom of the prudent. And, as we have seen, the FOOLISHNESS of God, is WISER than men. Or this thing that appears to be so foolish to the carnal mind (the Christ and His work) is actually the WISDOM OF GOD.

Not a great many wise men, after the flesh, are called of God. They are left to follow the plan prescribed for them, and in God's due time and according to His plan, they will be brought to a knowledge of God. Their wisdom, which is nothing but foolishness, will drop from them, light will shine upon their path and they will be brought to understand at last what true wisdom is.

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.  2 Corinthians 13:4

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

In becoming WEAK IN HIM, brought to obedience unto the death of His cross, we are also brought to the end of our self-life, in its carnality, perverted consciousness, distorted understanding, and deceptive illusion. But rather than being destroyed by this process, there is a new and glorious living by the power of God out of our own reality of SPIRIT-LIFE. There is a revelation in weakness that few have comprehended. The purpose is to magnify the supremacy of the SPIRIT, the power of the divine life released through us, while discouraging completely the strength, wisdom, and reality of the OUTER MAN.

God is the great miracle worker.  He makes something out of nothing, and somebodies out of nobodies.

The Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man

Jesus told many parables during His three and half years of ministry. There is no telling how many; but more than three dozen of His parables were recorded. He spoke of a man sowing good seed into a field, a grain of mustard seed, and leaven hidden in three measures of meal. He also spoke of a barren fig tree, a man who planted a vineyard, new wine in old wineskins, ravens, lilies, and many, many more.

A PARABLE is a short, fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle. Parables are never meant to be taken for the letter of their word. When taken literally, at face value, the entirety of its meaning is lost.
The Greek word for parable is parabole and means, something similar, symbolic, a fictitious narrative of common life conveying a moral (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance). The Hebrew word, mashal, is not unlike it, meaning, a sense of superiority in mental action; a maxim, usually of a metaphorical nature; hence a simile, or figure of speech (as an adage, poem, discourse. (Strong's).

It is interesting, of all the parables Jesus spoke, only one is commonly taught as being literal. What a wonder it is, that such a thing could go unnoticed for so long, and this in the ranks of intelligent people who claim they want the truth. That single parable has become a pervading factor in man's theology. It is a ruse that condemns the vast majority to a never ending realm of burning torment. That ill-applied parable, of course, is the one where "a certain beggar called LAZARUS, who, upon dying found himself in Abraham's bosom, and a certain RICH MAN in torment."

One reason for taking this parable at face value, as we have been told, is due to Jesus using the word 'certain' to express His thought: a certain man named Lazarus, a certain rich man, etc. In His discourse, it is argued, the word certain designates each person as being a certain 'real' individual. This is plausible; but it doesn't stand true in the light of many other times Jesus used the same term. We will cite a few, and on each occasion see how it always conveys His message in the form of a parable. Before we look at those verses, however, let us be reminded that when speaking to the scribes and Pharisees, as He was in Luke 15 and 16, He never spoke except in parables. The following verses make this clear: "And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them" (Mat 13:10-11,34).
Without a parable spake He not unto them -- not even when He spoke of A CERTAIN householder, A CERTAIN king, or A CERTAIN man with two sons who he sent into his vineyard to work. Without a parable spake he not unto them about A CERTAIN rich man and steward, A CERTAIN poor widow, or A CERTAIN creditor. In parables also, spake He concerning A CERTAIN man who fell among thieves, A CERTAIN priest who passed him by, A CERTAIN Samaritan who helped him, and A CERTAIN man who made a great supper. And spake He likewise of A CERTAIN rich man, and a CERTAIN MAN NAMED LAZARUS.

No one takes any of the CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS in the above PARABLES as being literal. So why, we humbly ask, would we make an exception with A CERTAIN MAN WHO WAS A BEGGAR and A CERTAIN RICH MAN IN TORMENT? The strength of the argument on that point is lacking, to say the least. There is, however, yet another argument, which could have merit if what Jesus was saying had not been a parable. It has to do with the fact that He used a personal name to designate the beggar -- LAZARUS. It is maintained that this establishes the parable as being literal. But does it? Let us consider some things and see.

Lazarus is the Greek form of the the Hebrew name Eleazar, and like all Hebrew names it has a meaning, it tells something of the person it names. In this case it means, Whom God aids, surrounds, protects, helps, rescues" (Strong's & Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lex. to the O.T.) This is the name, i.e., the nature, or the character of Lazarus. The parable simply states the condition of those that 'Lazarus' represented.
With a little research it is also found that the story of Lazarus and the rich man is the fifth part of a five-part parable. It is the concluding point of Jesus' parable concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. Each part of the parable refers to the dispersion of the Jews and the salvation of the Gentiles. Jesus made His point by using five different ways to tell one story

Andrew Jukes in his book, "The Restitution of All Things," wrote along these same lines. His book points out how the parable begins in Luke 15:3 and ends with 16:31. Another excellent work, and much more comprehensive, is the book, "Abraham's Bosom" by J. Preston Eby. Each treatise draws our attention to the truth of the matter, enabling us to focus on these two chapters of Luke as one parable. Hopefully, we can likewise see this ribbon of unfolding truth in this short study. [One Parable - five stories: J. Preston Eby

After the Pharisees murmured against Jesus for receiving and eating with sinners, He spoke to them. This sets the tone for what followed. The subject matter had to do with those considered the ungodly Gentiles and contrasting them with the elect of God, which were the Jews. The first few words of verse three set the precedence. They established what Jesus said thereafter would be one parable and not five parables. Those key words are: "He spake this PARABLE to them..." (Lk. 15:3).

When we follow Him through to the end, we see each part of the parable is about something either lost or rejected: the lost sheep and the ninety-nine sheep, the lost coin and the rest of the house, the prodigal son and the older son, the debtors and the unjust steward, and of course, the poor beggar and a certain rich man. One is oppressed, lost, and sought after until he is found and saved, while the other is seemingly left to his own destruction.

Throughout the parable, each is very much the same as the Gentiles or the nation of Israel. As we notice this parable, let us also keep Luke 19:10 in mind, which discloses what His mission was, and still is for that matter. It simply states that Jesus came "...TO SEEK AND SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST." Thus, Luke 15:4 through 16:31. Luke 15:4-7...The ninety-nine sheep with a caring Shepherd is very typical of Israel as a nation before the advent of Jesus. After He is rejected and crucified by His flock, the Shepherd comes again at Pentecost; but this time His purpose is to find the one that is lost -- the Gentiles. From that point on, Israel had no one to guide them. All restraints were lifted, leaving them to their own evil devices. Their condition had been deplorable for a long time; but with the Shepherd away, their spiritual and moral state of being decayed to absolute purification. Sedition became the norm, and thirty or so years of their constant insurrections, Rome could tolerate no more. In A.D. 70 Titus' army was set upon Jerusalem with such fury that the city was utterly destroyed. With this heavy blow exacted, and without a shepherd, the rest of Israel was dispersed and scattered throughout the world.
Luke 15:8-10...A candle is lit, and the house swept clean until the lost coin is found. The candle, of course, is the shining light of Christ in the hand of the Church. This commenced at Pentecost. Its fire set aflame the wicks of the 120, and the search began. Thousands were delivered from the kingdom of darkness and placed in the Kingdom of God's dear Son. From there the torch was passed on and carried down to this day, all the while, bringing light and igniting fires everywhere it went.
The ten coins is an eastern custom which carries great importance -- especially to a bride. The coins are handed down from family to family for one purpose. They are to be passed on to the eldest son when he marries. He in turn gives them to his bride, and although their monetary worth is insignificant, their intrinsic value cannot be measured. They are priceless. The coins begin as a part of the engagement process. In a solemn ceremony under a kitchilika tree (an exotic and fragrant species of orange which bears fruit as large as grapefruit), the couple sit facing each other as the young man drops into her hands the ten pieces of silver. The girls of that part of the world are taught, "He who places the ten pieces of silver in your hand is he who will love you." They believe that God kindles love in the heart of the girl at that very moment. This, then, is the beginning of love. It also signifies that the governing protection with which God had overshadowed her is now passed to the man.

By receiving the ten pieces of silver, the bride is considered to have now been purchased, just as Christ died on a tree and purchased us, the Church. "Ye were bought for a price." The coins are a testimony of her being bought for a high and precious price. At the wedding ceremony she will wear them hooked with little hooks into her hair. Thereafter, she must guard them with her life. And there is good cause for this. According to their thinking, when a woman loses one of her ten pieces of silver, God withdraws favor from the household, and the blessings which they had formerly enjoyed is lost. If she cannot find the coin, in disgrace, she will be put out in the street, an outcast -- put out to die! No wonder the woman desperately swept the house until the coin was found, and then called in the neighbors to rejoice with her, for she had just been saved from certain death. Jesus said, their rejoicing is like the rejoicing in heaven when one sinner repents. (1)
We, as it is with the Word of God, shall not return void. Rather than failing to find that which was lost (the rest of the world), we will search until they are all secure. Brethren, they were placed in our hands when we received the earnest of our inheritance. Shall we not wear them as a crown of glory the day we are joined in marriage to Him? Shall we let even one slip away to never be found?
Absolutely not! With the fiery light of the Lord blazing, and His piecing eyes sweeping over the earth, everything that stands in its path shall be cleansed. The hunt shall continue until the job is finished. With His light in hand, we, shall never stop going about cleaning, seeking, finding, and saving that which was lost -- the lost coin -- the Gentiles. Our call is not one of empty-handedness. We will proceed until the whole house is thoroughly purged and all is found and reconciled to God, lest His Church is disgraced and put out in the street, an outcast, put out to die, for losing her most precious inheritance -- the Gentiles!

Luke 15:11-31...The firstborn son is typical of the Jewish nation, while the prodigal son is that of the Gentile nations. The Jews are envious of the repentant son who returns to the Father's house. The eldest son is supposed to receive the honor of the fatted calf, the signet ring of the Father's authority, the robe of royalty, and the Father's shoes to walk like Him, etc.; but the younger, the redeemed nations, receive all these things instead. We see the same scenario with Ishmael and Isaac, Esau and Jacob, and also Joseph and his elder brothers. In each case the younger receives the inheritance while the elder resentfully loses it. Hence, the elder son and the prodigal son
Luke 16:1-13...The unjust steward in these verses speak of the Jews. They wasted the Spiritual goods that God, the rich Master, had trusted to their care. They even wasted the most precious treasure He could have given them -- Jesus -- His own Son. This same parable, it appears, was told in Matthew about the certain rich Householder who planted a vineyard and let it out to husbandmen to care for. Each time He sent servants (the prophets) to see how things were going, they were killed. He then sent His own Son. Thinking they could seize His inheritance, He too was killed (Mat 21:33-42). Jesus concluded that particular parable with a strong proclamation: "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof" (Mat 21:43).

The parable of Luke 16:1-13 continues: Upon seeing that the Master is very wroth, and will cast him out of the Kingdom, the steward quickly shows mercy to his Lord's debtors. Those debtors are the nations that the Jews had put under such a financial burden. This is in the hope, of course, that should they lose their prestigious position of authority, the Gentiles might show mercy and allow them refuge (16:4). "And I say unto you. Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness, (the Gentiles of the world); that when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations (or, aeonian, agelasting habitations). "If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Luke 16:11-13
During Jesus' parabolic discourse, I am sure the scribes and Pharisees were building up a full head of angered steam; for they knew full-well He had them pegged. With the symbolism He used, even they knew what He was saying, to a degree. The Gentiles, whom they viewed as dogs, would be taking their sacred place of honor -- and they didn't like it. They kept quiet, however, until He touched that which they loved the most -- money, i.e., mammon. This pierced to the core of their stony hearts. With such a pain-riveting word, they could keep their silence no longer. In open contempt the covetous Pharisees derided Him. (Deride in this verse means a rude, outright sneer.)

Jesus did not entertain their obscene gestures, but hit them instead in the midst of another tender spot. He spoke briefly, but very pointedly, about how they self-righteously justified themselves in the sight of men, and went about putting away their wives and husbands. He then picked up where He left off and concluded His parable of the Jews and Gentiles.

Luke 16:19-26...The rich man clothed in purple and fine linen is typical of the kings and priests of God -- Israel; while Lazarus (whom God aids) represents the Gentiles. We can't help from remembering Jesus referring to dogs once before. It was with the Canaanite woman who besought Him to cast out the devils from her daughter. In essence, He told her that the Gentiles were dogs, and His meat was not for the dogs. She then reminded Him, "...THE DOGS (not unlike those that licked the wounds of Lazarus) eat the crumbs that fall from the master's table" (Mat 15:27).
In torment, the rich man cries out to his father Abraham. Notice that he does not cry to God, not to Yahweh, not to Jehovah, and certainly not to Jesus; but he cries out to Abraham -- the father of Israel. He begs for Lazarus to be sent with a drop of water to soothe his tongue. He yearns to have his 2,000 years of scorching pain eased; the pain of scorn and hatred he has suffered under God's hand of judgment. He is told, however, that the gulf is fixed, that neither side can go to the other. This in no way suggests an 'eternal' condition to never be changed. It simply states that those who 'would' cannot cross over on their own. It takes more than human desire for Israel to be relieved from centuries of torment. The Gentiles must be brought in before the Jews as a whole can be released from judgment. Israel was rich in God, and fared sumptuously, but they squandered their wealth, killed the King's Son, and now they must wait until the proper season.

Paul wrote so clearly concerning this: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Rom. 11:25-26, 27-36).
Luke 16:27-31...Lastly, the rich man begged Lazarus to be sent to his brothers to warn them. He was told that they have Moses and the prophets; "Let them hear them." But in desperation he argued, "Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him. If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though One rose from the dead." And of course, they didn't repent. For One rose from the dead -- JESUS -- and they did not repent, even to this day.

They, therefore, remain in torment. The gulf has been fixed, and this is for both the Gentiles and for Israel; but it is not forever. To the natural mind it would be the sensible thing to do, to hurry the process, to stop the suffering -- but it won't be. Until the appointed time Israel cannot span the wide chasm, and neither can the Gentiles in Christ cross that fixed gulf and save them. Regardless of how many missionaries are sent to the 'holy land', it will not happen before the time. The Jews are held in unbreakable chains of darkness, and this is by God's decree -- and man cannot circumvent or change it. They will remain locked in darkness until the Sons of God sound the trumpet of freedom, and they hear for the first time the Good News to return unto the Lord.

Individuals may cross over as the Lord bids, which is a rarity, but not the nation. For "...Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible"; but praise God, He did not stop there. He then said, "WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE" (Mat. 19:26). God certainly "...turns man to destruction; and says, RETURN, YE CHILDREN OF MEN" (Psa. 90:3).

Indeed, it is impossible for either the rich man or Lazarus to cross that fixed gulf; but the day will shortly dawn when God will make it possible. Get ready, O ye Sons of God, for your hour to sound the Word of liberty to those across the gulf draws nigh!
Without controversy, Jesus came to be the Savior of all (Jn. 4:42, 12:47, I Jn. 4:14, among 97 other verses.). And as the Living Word, He shall not return to His Father void, but will accomplish and prosper in that which He was sent to do (Isa. 55:11). Nevertheless, many, we are sure, will still contend that the doctrine of everlasting damnation is God's futile plan for the majority of His creation. Some will even continue using the above parable in attempts to prove their point. I hope they don't, but from what we have seen in the past, they probably will. We are not being antagonistic, yet we know how difficult it is to change age-old mind- sets, regardless of their absurdities. Chains of tradition are not easily broken.

The influence of 1,700 year-old dogmas cloud people's thinking. Vindictiveness also hinders the truth from being known. It spills from the cold heart of Pharisaical religion like poison from an apothecary's vial. This cruel spirit promotes men's unforgiving hatred as it maintains erroneous beliefs about God. The loathsome monster of self-righteousness, of course, stands well in the forefront of them all.

But, brethren, it must not be with us.

Let us break such godless yokes as we embrace the wonderful truths of our mighty King. Let us join with the myriads of saints in the awesome work of reconciling all unto God. Our call is set before us, this we know -- for we hear the sound of distant trumpets, and they are drawing closer by the day. Gird up your loins, dear Sons, and prepare yourselves to walk your destined call.

The lost is waiting.

Anointing .....

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18, 19

ANOINTED ME ..... IT IS THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT that will also mark and identify God's sons as being called to minister His word of truth and Spirit.

Some think a piece of paper does it, or some bible school. But what that some are missing is it is the anointing that they need, for without it they are as messengers without a message, and as lamps with no oil.

Jesus Christ anointing was not a partial anointing (John 3:34) nor was it that ‘EARNEST OF THE SPIRIT’ which we have received.” (2 Corinthians 5:5)

What the sons of God are seeing is the Holy Spirit has been given as a pledge or down payment, and that the full amount will subsequently be paid.

The “earnest” of the full inheritance which will be received when the sons of God have sufficiently matured to be entrusted with the balance of their inheritance – ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD!

Yes Paul's prayer for the Ephesians, ".... that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."

Ohhhhh soon the sons shall be manifested and filled with all the fullness of God and as so will walk with the fullness of the Spirit in them and upon them!!!!

As sons of God the Spirit of Christ dwells within us, we have received the EARNEST of our inheritance, but we are earnestly exhorted to “.... gird up the loins of your mind, and be sober, and hope to the end for the GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION (FULL UNVEILING) OF JESUS CHRIST. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” I Peter 1:13-16

We must GROW IN GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, the process of the unfolding of Himself out of Himself within us.

Yes how we must see the purpose of the Holy Ghost is to baptize us with the Holy Ghost Fire that will purify our soul and body, bringing us into a realm with God where we are changed from strength to strength, from glory to glory, and faith to faith until we come into a walk with God where we begin to grow up into all the nature, wisdom, knowledge, power and glory of God.

That’s the heart-cry of God in this hour. God wants to mature a people and fill them with ALL THE FULLNESS OF Him!!!!

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12

The power of God shall at last conquer the nations, and sin, sorrow and death shall be swallowed up in victory.

Humankind shall no longer receive merely the forgiveness of sins with peace and joy and hope, but a FULL DELIVERANCE AND TRANSFORMATION from sin, limitation and death.

How I Praise God for the earnest – BUT know we MUST follow on to receive THE FULLNESS!

QUOTE Paul Mueller - “We may wonder how the Lord could ever heal the many hurts of humanity, restore all the waste places of the earth, bring the light of His glory into darkened lives, and establish His kingdom in all the earth in righteousness, justice and peace. But when we get a glimpse of HIS GLORY and the fact that every member of His body shall be like Him and ANOINTED AS HE IS with that seven-fold anointing of God, then we will understand that all these things are possible and He will bring it to pass with THE POWER OF HIS GLORY.” - END OF QUOTE.

A few days ago I was asked a question on adoption. Not knowing then that my study of today was going to be on "adoption."

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15

To be adopted into the kingdom of God, one MUST BE being born again of "water" and "Spirit."

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD OF God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1Peter 1:23

What so many miss out on, is ... That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; .... All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 1 John 1:1 ; John 1:3,4

Now the Greek word for 'adoption' is huiothesia and means - a placement, an installation, a setting of a person or a thing in its place. So the whole word means not so much adoption as the PLACING OF A SON.

Now we must notice the word "son," NOT child, nor baby BUTson.”

See a day would come when an mature adopted son would receive the blessing of sonship from his adopted father.

The father would give the son the full use of the father's NAME! By that name the son had the power of attorney and could buy or sell and do business in his father’s name.

Secondly, at this time the son was given his INHERITANCE, all the wealth that the father would entrust to him.

Thirdly, but of tremendous importance for our consideration, the son was promoted to EQUALITY WITH HIS FATHER!

WHAT! Some might exclaim!!! That, THAT is blasphemy ...... All I will say is hold up and let the Word of the Lord enlightened your heart and mind!

“For the SPIRIT which you have now received is not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the SPIRIT OF ADOPTION – the Spirit producing Sonship – in the bliss of which we cry, Abba, Father!” Romans 8:15, Amplified Bible

YES The Spirit producing sonship within us is the realizing that we have been given the down payment of the gift .... the Holy Spirit!!!!

The Holy Spirit which God has given us is the guarantee of all that He has planned for us as we come fully into Him. We have not received our adoption YET; nor the FULL inheritance of power and glory, but we have received the SPIRIT of that adoption, the Spirit producing sonship, whereby we cry, Abba, Father!

How we MUST SEE THAT THE Holy Spirit is far more than a “blessing” to help us “hold on” till we get to heaven. The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of our adoption, daily in working the mind, nature, and life of our FATHER in us.

As He is ...... so are we in this world!!!!

Let me say that the ADOPTION IS THE FINAL RESULT of the completed work of the Spirit IN US AND THROUGH US!

Now then a father does not take his baby, his child and bring this about in them!

NO! The father brings this about IN his MATURE SONS and brings about the total adoption of sonship!

See a child is BORN, but a son is DEVELOPED.

Now they that are born again of water (Word) and Spirit have been born of God and have God’s NATURE, YES His divine nature within them. BUT! They MUST GROW UP INTO God’s CHARACTER and ABILITY!

This is what it really means to be the MANIFESTED SONS OF GOD!

“And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice from heaven saying, “THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, in Whom I am WELL PLEASED” Matthew 3:16-17

From that day forward Jesus assumed the responsibility of His Father’s name, wealth, and power, and God’s SON became manifested to the world, glorifying the Father in WORD and in ACTIONS.

Truly the Son of God!!!!!

The life of God is a free gift of unmerited mercy and favor. But heavenly attainments of spiritual wealth and power and glory and usefulness are given to those who follow on and GROW UP into the “measure of the stature of the FULLNESS OF CHRIST” Ephsians 4:13

Ohhhhhhh come on now did you think this was a game? When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11

So many imature Christians today are satisfied with merely an entrance into the family of God.
Their eyes are blinded to the higher purposes of God for their preachers and teachers teach not for they themselves SEE NOT!,

To get them to see the HIGHER CALLING is resisted by a human reasoning which asks why one should waste time on “deep things” when they are already saved and “on their way to heaven”.

HOWEVER! Salvation, while it is the most astounding miracle of the ages, is, nevertheless, but the birth of a mere SPIRITUAL CHILD. There are many further steps which must follow this birth if one is to come into all the glories and the full heritage which is prepared for those who FOLLOW ON TO KNOW THE LORD.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. ... And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect (bring to a close or fulfilment by event of the prophecies of the scriptures) in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:5,22,23

There is a great glory, wisdom, power, and heavenly wealth awaiting those who grow up to be God’s SONS. The whole creation is standing on tiptoe to see the glorious sight of God’s Sons coming into their own!

Mystery of the Kingdom

Amazing Light ..... God is "Elohim" from Genesis 1:1-2:3 and in Genesis 2:4 and on, He is "The Eternal One" ..... "Jehovah Elohim"

And God (Spirit) SAID (AMAR), Let us make MAN IN OUR IMAGE, after our LIKENESS: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26

SAID in Hebrews is AMAR and it is first seen in Genesis 1:3

And God SAID (AMAR), Let there be light: and there was light.

Now we can look at SAID in the Greek

In the beginning was the Word (LOGOS [which God spoke]), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Word is Logos is said is amar.

For we are His workmanship, CREATED IN Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither MALE NOR FEMALE: FOR YE ARE ALL ONE in Christ Jesus.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26

Do you see that this ONE man God created was both male and female?

So God (Spirit) created man in His own IMAGE; in the IMAGE of God (Spirit) He created HIM; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

Did Adam come in Genesis 2:7 from The Eternal One" ..... "Jehovah Elohim"

And the LORD God FORMED man of the DUST of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:18

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Genesis 2:22

AND ADAM SAID, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:23,24

That is what The Eternal One" ..... "Jehovah Elohim" did.

For the creature (Adam, dust) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, .... Romans 8:20

Without Christ Jesus the creature is subject to death!

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

One Adam is removed for the second Adam.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.     1Co 15:22

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a QUICKENING spirit. 1Co 15:45

Adam came from dust and needed the QUICKENING spirit to be IN Christ Jesus in the Word of life. The TREE OF LIFE!

The light of the mystery of the kingdom is truly amazing.

The word "created" is the Hebrew word "bara" means to bring out of Himself, to chisel out, to carve out, to produce from the same stock.

Now lets look again at Genesis 1:27 ---->So God CREATED man in his own image, in the image of God (Spirit) created he him; male and female created he them.

HMMMMMMmmmmm Adam was formed from DUST .... the man in Genesis 1:27 was created from the same as God is ...... Spirit.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Which in other AGES was not MADE known unto the SONS OF MEN, as it is now REVEALED unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Ephesians 3:3-7

Born Again

"For we are members of his BODY, of his FLESH, and of his BONES." Ephesians 5:30

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give LIFE to your mortal bodies THROUGH His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 2 Thessalonians 2:8

"When Christ shall appear in one, that antichrist will be destroyed by the breath of His mouth and the brightness of His appearing. The moment God, by the power of His Spirit begins to appear in one's temple, the brightness of His coming begins to destroy the concepts one has of being a fallen human being. When the light of God begins to penetrate the darkness of one's understanding one begins to experience His life rise up within and what was once a miracle to one becomes so natural.

It is so easy to live a holy consecrated life in service to humanity when God’s life is activated within our consciousness.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Being born again (to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God), not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

Seven Spirits of God

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel ("sown in Babylon"), saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

For many years that verse sat in my heart. I yearned to see the day that the Lord would use me by His Spirit. However, time has been the issue at hand for He was readying His sons to be the vessels filled full of His Spirit. Jesus Christ did NOT function in part but as the firstborn Son he had the Spirit of the Lord upon him and as so Jesus Christ did all by the Spirit of the Lord.

“The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding;
The Spirit of Counsel and Might,
The Spirit of Knowledge and Fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:2

The Lord is ONE Spirit indeed.

However, The candlestick in the tabernacle of Moses was one base BUT 7 branches ......

".... from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;" Revelation 1:4

"...These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, " Revelation 3:1

"And OUT of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." Revelation 4:5

"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." Revelation 5:6

Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Isaiah 30:26

Don't listen to MYSTERY BABYLON and her lies on the book of Revelation but ask the Father to open it unto your eyes. I tell you, you will see glory and honour and power throughout that book unto His manifested sons!!!!!!

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to SHEW UNTO HIS SERVANTS things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

BLESSED is he that READETH, and they that HEAR the words of this prophecy, and KEEP those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Sons Empowered!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles (nations) shall COME TO THY LIGHT, and kings to THE BRIGHTNESS OF THY RISING” Isaiah 60:1-3

In that day it shall also come to pass that “the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the SUN (the glory of Christ) SHALL BE SEVENFOLD, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of His people, and healeth the stroke of their wound (the work of restoration in the last days)” Isaiah 30:26

Malachi prophesied of this day too, saying, “But unto you that fear My name shall the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ARISE with healing in His wings... and ye shall tread down (overcome) the wicked... in the day that I shall do this saith the Lord of hosts” Malachi 4:2-3

Let me ask you ... “Is there an sevenfold glory of Christ coming upon His sons in the end of this age?”

“His eyes were as a flame of fire... and His countenance was AS THE SUN SHINETH IN HIS STRENGTH” Revelation 1:14-16

“Then shall THY LIGHT BREAK FORTH AS THE MORNING, and thy health (restoration) shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward” Isaiah 58:8

“Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, CLEAR AS THE SUN, and terrible as an army with banners” Song of Solomon 6:10

Maybe its time to eat the meat rather than being babies in His Word!

For the church of today moved right back into the darkness of traditions, bondage, carnality and immaturity.

It is what Jesus hated “So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” Revealtion 2:15 and He shall spue it forth and arise as the head of His body.

I bless God that even now His Word is breaking forth into His sons and they are arising up to a higher glory to drink of the living waters of the Word of life!

God IS sending forth this sevenfold brightness of His life, light, glory, love, grace, righteousness, peace, joy and power.

Now notice this ---->Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; AND FROM THE SEVEN SPIRITS which are before his throne; .... Revelation 1:4

Grace from the seven Spirits before His throne ... empowerment .... sons EMPOWERED!!!!!

“The works that I do shall ye do also, and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL YE DO” John 14:12

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height (of capacity); that ye might be FILLED WITH A-L-L THE FULLNESS OF GOD” Ephesians 3:17-19

What a magnificent thought .... to be filled with all the FULLNESS of God.

A balloon is an great object to use when thinking on the "FULLNESS of God." See you can take a balloon and blow some air into it and say the balloon is filled with air. Yes the balloon indeed is filled with air just as the many that get filled with the Holy Ghost! But the balloon as the many have they reached their capacity of being filled?

I think not after seeing Paul prayed that the Ephesians be filled with ALL the FULLNESS of God.

They that hungry and thirst will indeed receive more and more of Him just as Paul points out in ---->But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Not all will hungry and thirsty the same way just as the measure of God's grace is poured in one another in different measurements.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith....For... all members have not the same office ... Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, ... Romans 12:3-8

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7

Let the grace of God draw the hungry and thirsty unto Him in the measurement He has given so that they will know it is by GRACE and GRACE alone!

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, MAKETH INCREASE (enlargement) OF THE BODY unto the edifying of itself in love” Ephesians 4:16,17

GLORY unto God for the head of the body supplieth the body with the needed grace so that it can increaseth with the increase of God. (Colossians 2:9)

See Paul pointed out in Ephesians chapter four that God has placed ministry-gifts in the body of Christ “for the PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS... till we all come... unto a PERFECT MAN, unto the measure of the stature of THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST” (Ephesians 4:11-16). Thus we can see that it is only in perfection that one can know THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST.

I understand why Paul said he has "... been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me." Galatians 2:20

For the very grace that called Paul calls each one of us and some more than others but we must not let pride have its way within us for GRACE does not help the prideful but the humble. (James 4:6)

The sons of God MUST press on and allow the FULLNESS of God fill them so that by them He may be ALL IN ALL! In His Word I see His will for all and as so my heart prayer is that God’s sons become aware that there is yet before them the full comprehension of what truly is the breadth, length, depth and height of that realm available to them where abides ALL THE FULLNESS OF HIM.

Don't sell out to the flesh for all it has to offer is death. BUT RATHER SELL OUT TO LIFE and allow the LIFE OF GOD to fill ALL and ALL in you!
