Growing by Him

I understand this new life I live is not a life unto self, but to do His will. For I know the whole of evil and the ruin of sin is that mankind turned from God's will to do His own. Christ  Jesus redemption work is to restore mankind back to God to do His will. It is the Holy Spirit within me that conforms me to do His will. I act, I believe and I live a life dead to the old man, dead to the rudiments of the world and most of all dead to my will. I now live a life within the veil, a life alive unto God sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. My body is no longer mine but His. He has prepared me this new life and I must live a life that is ready at any moment to do His will not mine. For I am but a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto Him. In this body "grace and truth" will reign and triumph. I have been redeemed of the old man and now become a temple for His Spirit. I have been baptized into Christ's death an

By Grace

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever . 1 John 2:15-17 There is one reason our witness is so often ineffective: our hearts are divided, our affections are split, our loyalties are torn ... "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand." Matt 12:25,26 How then can our kingdom stand, if our hearts are hot one day and cold the next, rejecting sin one hour and reveling in it the next! Those who mingle and mix with the old man will never gain the mastery over him. B

Living God

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end . He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. Daniel 6:25-28 delivereth: To leave, to let go ( Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Hebrews 11:33) rescueth: To disentangle; hence to free from difficulties or one's lack of trust in God. ( And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful,

Godhead

("...we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. Acts 17:29) * If there are any other gods, God doesn't know them! (Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 44:8) * If there is another name of God, it is not for salvation (Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12) * If there are 'parts' to the Godhead, they're all in Jesus! (For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 1:19;2:9) * If there are other 'persons' or gods, they don't have any power! (And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. M

He Whispered to me

I've felt the move of God in a way I can't put into words. But I know it's a closer walk before the throne. I've seen such a move of darkness upon this land, I'm afraid the light in many might be snuffed out. I've bowed before the LORD and told Him in respect and love that I don't want to play the game of Christian anymore. Peter, Paul, John, James and so forth walked in kingdom power and they were no different than me. Same Lord ... same Gospel ... same Spirit. Why oh why is the lame still lame ... why is the blind still blind ... why is the addict stuck in their addictions. The LORD moved in closer and He whispered to me. Ministry begins in the home and it will pour out from there. I am moving in families that humble themselves and learn of Me. I designed the family, and darkness has had its way long enough, tearing them apart. I the Lord your God will once again repair the breaches in families and heal the broken hearts. I want stewards

Sincere

It’s not gospel perfection that causes one to fail but a lack of sincere intentions and careful diligence in one’s conduct towards the light in their life. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John:5,6,7

Swimming or Floating

If you are not swimming upstream with the LORD than you are floating down stream with the dead. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:1-5

Crucified With Christ

Grace isn’t just God’s unmerited favor toward us …  Grace is Divine inherit empowerment I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:21 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe , according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also

Draw Nigh to Father

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Rom 8:34) Our High Priest never ceases to make intercession on our behalf. It is through our High Priest that the Father’s will for our lives are revealed. Because He ever lives to make intercession without one moment’s intermission, therefore He is able to save completely. Since our High Priest ‘abides for ever,’ because ‘He ever lives to make intercession; therefore ‘He is a Priest for ever,’ who exercises every function of His office in an endless life-power, that never for a moment intermits its action. ‘He is able to save completely’ in Himself. He has been ‘perfected for evermore’ with Himself and ‘He hath perfected for ever’ them that are sanctified with Himself. The gift of salvation that He has shaped out is a life in the opened sanctuary of His presence in the keeping power of H

Kingdom of God 1

The word "gospel" means good news, and this is the message we are to take to all the peoples of the earth. We are living in a day when there is very little "good" news. Our TV screens are filled with violence and crime, and the world news only makes one depressed. Health-wise we find new diseases afflicting man with all sorts of maladies. We begin to wonder if there is any such thing as good news in this world. The church has compounded the problem by spreading a "gospel" which carries as much "bad" news as good. This is the gospel of salvation, which says that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and if we will put our trust in Him, He will forgive our sins and takes us to heaven when we die. However, when it comes down to the out-working of this "good news," there is precious little that makes a lot of difference between those who accept this gospel and those who do not. At least that is as far as life here on

Kingdom of God 2

In our previous study we considered that special creation of God called man, and the part he has to play in the purposes of God. We discovered that God gave authority to that "Spirit" man, created in His likeness and image and told him to have dominion over all the works of His hands. However this authority was not given to the "earth" man of Genesis 2. In this study we want to explore the subject of the "Kingdom of God," which is vitally connected with the dominion that God gave to that first man of the Spirit. Therefore we will endeavor to: · define the Kingdom · seek to locate it, and · establish its function in the plan of God What is the Kingdom? Because most Christians think in material terms being limited to a consciousness that is expressed in the five senses, the term "Kingdom of God" is generally thought of as a literal kingdom, set up on the earth with Jesus Christ as the King, sitting on a literal throne ruli
