Reincarnation in the Bible

Quote--->Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. Matthew 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Matthew 17:11 This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead...Matthew 14:2 “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? John 9:1 How can a person who was born blind have sinned? This not only implies this man had a previous life. There is not a single verse where Jesus ever spoke against reincarnation even though it was a prevailing belief of the time. If one reads the books there were omitted from the bible nearly all of them speak of reincarnation. It is like the priest...

Cast it to the Dogs

Quote--->“It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.”    MATTHEW 15:26 In Biblical Psychology, Jesus is not insulting a woman or excluding outsiders. He is speaking in the language of inner anatomy, describing the priority of the Higher Self’s nourishment for the awakened inner faculties (“the children”) before it can be given to the still ‐ undeveloped impulses (“the dogs”). This verse is about the order of inner transformation: The higher faculties must be fed first. The lower impulses receive nourishment only after they are tamed, purified, and integrated. Jesus is describing the hierarchy within the soul, not the hierarchy between people. Symbolic Breakdown “Children” The awakened faculties of the soul — the inner Israel. The parts of consciousness capable of receiving spiritual nourishment. “Bread” Spiritual nourishment: illumination, truth, Divine energy, inner sustenance. “Dogs” The lower impulses of the soul: reactive emotion, instinct, des...

The Users Manuel for the Mind

Quote---> The bible is not a book that is supposed to be read literally as the bible itself literally says be not a minister of the letter. The bible is a product of eastern mysticism and should be read by the spirit of the message or by its symbolic teachings. Jesus was the very definition of a mystic and it says he only taught by parable. The mystics who wrote scripture were no di ff erent. The mystics who wrote the bible were describing your mind. It is describing the di ff erent aspects of your consciousness, how it works, how to use it, and the potential consequences (psychosis) of misuse. The bible is literally the users manual to your mind. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.  Psalms 11:5 The lord (your higher Christ consciousness) determines righteousness (right and wrong). but the wicked (your lower carnal mind) and him that loveth violence (your desire for carnal things) his soul (your Christ being) hateth. All th...

The Male Character and the Mind

Quote---> As we have been discussing nothing in the bible is what it appears to be. The cardinal directions are the four states of mindfulness, the Female is used in reference our spirit or emotions, and water is synonymous with truth. Male figures in the bible are no exception. In biblical mysticism the male represents the mind itself. Jerusalem, cities, towns, houses, and mansions are also used in reference to the mind itself but we are focusing on the male character for now. The mind is one of the least understood aspects. Of all the things we know we know the least about our mind. We are in this form of existence to truly discover who and what we are. What is the purpose of the mind? If God is consciousness and consciousness is eternal then by default we are eternal. Heaven and hell are only concepts within the mind because only the mind, consciousness, is eternal. Knowing the male represents the mind in biblical scripture lets look at a very misunderstood verse in the bible,...

Light

Quote---> You are the light of the world..... LIGHT A symbol of Truth, Wisdom and Knowledge, and of the consciousness which apprehends reality or relativity in each. EARTH (world) A symbol of the mind which, when acted upon by Spirit, takes forms and qualities for manifestation. You are the consciousness of the mind, but you are not the mind itself. The mind is your creation, you create the world (mind). You create good and evil. You are the God being described in the bible. --  Frank & Michele Welder Lethbridge, AB. Kingdom Within

Quote---> Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.  Luke 17:21 The Kingdom of God that we enter into is already within us. We enter the kingdom within much the same way we enter into deep meditative relaxation, or the way we enter into a fit of rage. The Kingdom (God) is a state of mind, a state of consciousness (Christ consciousness), that we are entering into. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1:14 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.  Luke 17:21 In John 1:14God is made flesh (he is seen) and is among us. In Luke 17:21 The kingdom (unseen) is within you. It is my understanding the translated Greek word actually has 2 meanings depending upon use. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?  John 14:10 Again we hav...

Numbers

Quote--->The bible says the earth is 6000 years old. How can this be? We need to remember the Bible is not a history book. This makes a lot of people uncomfortable as it goes against everything they have been taught, but believing the bible is actually about religion is the modern equivalent of believing the earth is flat. To understand the symbolic nature of scripture you need to understand the symbolisms of the mystics who wrote it. Earth - The lower (egoic) mind of man All numbers in the bible can be reduced to a simplified number. 666 = 6+6+6 = 18 = 1+8 = 9 144000 = 1+4+4 = 9 9 is the number of consciousness in mysticism. In Sanskrit the value of Adam is 9. Throughout the bible the male character represents the mind. This is true for many different cultures and mythologies. The earth is 6000 years old.  Meaning..... The (mind) is (6 ages) old. The six ages in scripture are:    1) Adam and Eve 2) Flood 3) Abraham 4) King David 5) Babylonian Exile  6) Christ 7) ...

Noah’s Ark, The Restful Mind

Quote---> The name Noah comes from the Hebrew "Noach" which means "rest," or "repose." As we have already said the bible is a book of eastern mysticism. It is describing the inner workings of your mind and its place in and of creation. The story of Noah’s Ark is actually describing how we are to create a restful mind. We are to prepare our arc, our boat or our inner place of safety, before our emotional storms come and floods overwhelm us. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.  Genesis 7:2 Beasts (animals) in the bible represent are our thoughts. Beasts specifically are the thoughts of the carnal mind. Fowl are the thoughts of our higher spiritual mind. “Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female” Of every clean (spiritual) thought of the carnal mind we are to take seven. That is we are to balance the knowled...

Nephilim

Quote---> The Nephilim are mysterious beings in the Bible who are described as being large and strong. In Hebrew the word Nephilim directly translates to "the fallen ones".  Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them Earth: First stage of consciousness (lower mind) Sons : Our thoughts from the lower or higher consciousness Daughters : Thoughts from our emotional mind The Nephilim were in the earth (in the carnal mind) in those days when the sons of God (when the thoughts of the divine) came in unto the daughters of men (mixed with the emotions of men) and they bore children to them (the Nephilim were created) What this is telling us is that when we have thoughts of divinity from our higher consciousness that mix with the emotions of our lower consciousness we then create the religious giants that dominate us. Religion is a creation of the carnal mind a...

Royal Priesthood

Quote---> "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"  1 PETER 2:9 In biblical symbolism, this verse describes the awakening of the soul to its own higher nature, and the discovery that its identity is not the physical personality but the divine consciousness within it. Each title: "chosen", "royal", "priestly", "holy" is not a social category but an interior state of being. This is not a statement about a group of people, but about the structure of the awakened soul. “A chosen generation” This refers to the inner lineage, the divine ancestry of the soul. The “generation” is not biological but ontological, the soul arises from the Higher Self, not from the lower nature. To be “chosen” is to be: - awakened from within - summoned by the higher consciousness - recognized by the Self as...

The Fish

Quote---> Early Christians, who were in fact mystics, used the symbol of the fish symbol to secretly communicate their belief with one another. Going back further in ancient mythology God was represented by a fish. The fish was also a symbol of wisdom and divine understanding. When one entered into meditation they were said to be inside the fish (God). When the bible speaks of Jonah being swallowed by a fish it is saying that Jonah was in deep meditation. Cast your nets to the right (to catch fish). Cast your nets to the right is the biblical symbolism for focusing your energies to the right side of the brain where the creative (God) side of our psyche resides. The left side is the analytical or carnal mind. In the bible all good things come from the right or east and all negative things come from the left or the west (the carnal side). There is not a single instance of something good coming from the west, the carnal mind. The fish symbolism is also associated with the power to...

Water and Truth

Quote---> Throughout the bible water is synonymous with truth. Water is the second stage of consciousness in the five baptisms. “This is the one who came by water (truth) and blood (spirit) - Jesus Christ.” “but whoever drinks the water (truth) I give them will never thirst.” “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven.” In Genesis 1 it is describing the separation of the truth of God from the truths of men. The firmament is the actual human consciousness. “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters.” - Here the word water is plural this is significant because it implies multiple truths which is technically is an error as there can only ever be one truth. “7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters wh...

Why did Noah take seven pairs of clean animals on the Ark?

Quote---> The “clean” and “unclean” animals are not about food at all. What the bible is describing are states of consciousness. The inner qualities, impulses, and tendencies within the soul, within the mind. Genesis 1:29 and Genesis 9:3 are not dietary shifts. They are symbolic shifts in the development of the mind, the inner human being. The Symbolism..... Clean animals = higher impulses, virtues, refined tendencies  Unclean animals = lower impulses, chaotic tendencies Noah preserves seven pairs because “seven” is the number of completion, it is the perfected cycle. Noah is saving the complete set of higher faculties. The Ark is the preserved mind, the part of the soul that survives the flood of transformation when the shadow is intigrated. --  Frank & Michele Welder Lethbridge, AB. Genesis 1

Quote--->The bible is only describing your mind. It discusses its creation and its relationship with the spirit from which it was created. Although the bible does use the real names and places of the physical realm they are only used as place holders (symbols) to describe the more complex nature of our minds. The bible is closer to a book of psychology than a book of religion. By no means should the bible be viewed as a historical document. I believe the following to be the true symbolic and mystical teachings of Genesis. The Beginning 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Heaven and Earth = Spirit and Mind Heaven - The state of consciousness on the buddhic plane which is above the mental plane. Primordial Earth - is formless matter / mind that has not yet been acted upon by spirit. Darkness - Not always a bad thing. The ...

The Female Character

Quote--->As we have discussed the entire bible is symbolic mysticism. It was given to us by those who communed directly with the Christ. If scripture is the inspired word of God then by their very nature scriptures are creations of mysticism. It would be mistaken to read scripture by any lens other than the lens of the authors. Probably one of the most egregious misinterpretations of scripture is that of the female. In ancient times the female played a more vital / center role in religious belief systems. It was not until we de-evolved into warring tribes that the dominate male role emerged. In mysticism the female represents either your emotions or your spirit depending upon context. The woman at the well is in reference to your spirit seeking the Christ. The woman (your spirit) goes to the well to get water (seeks the truth) and bumps into Jesus (the Christ). Even though she (you) may believe she is unworthy of Christ he rea ffi rms her (you) that no one is without him regardless ...

Fall of Satan

Quote---> In Biblical Psychology, Satan is not a cosmic villain, fallen angel, or external being. He is a symbol of the lower nature in man. The part of our psyche that resists the upward movement of the mind. He is not a person. He is not a rival god. He is not an independent power. He is a principle, a condition of consciousness. Satan = the Adversary, the Opposer. Satan is the opposing tendency (carnal mind) within the human constitution: the pull downward, the inertia of the lower self, the resistance to spiritual ascent, the voice of desire, fear, and self-centeredness He is the centrifugal force that pulls consciousness outward into the senses and away from the inner center. He is not evil by creation. He is the shadow produced when the mind turns away from the truth. Satan is the lower mind when it becomes self-centered The human constitution has higher and lower aspects.  Satan is: the lower mind when it separates from the Higher,  the desire-nature when it becomes ...

Do not apply literalism to scripture

Quote---> The only concern of scripture is your mental and spiritual wellbeing. It has no concern with the physical world or how we handle our a ff airs. If your spiritual and mental a ff airs are in order the rest of your life will follow suit. MARRIAGE -  A symbol of the union of Wisdom (fem.) and Love (masc.), or of Truth (masc.) and Love (fem.), or in a lower sense, of mind (man, Adam) and emotion (woman, Eve). It also may mean the union of the Higher Self (masc.) with the purified lower Self (fem.) on the higher mental plane. DIVORCING A WIFE AND MARRYING ANOTHER WOMAN - The "wife" is a symbol of the emotions allied with the mind. The seeking to sunder the union of mind and emotion is an attempt to transgress the law of the soul's progression, and form an alliance with lower attractions-folly. See PROV. Vii. A man shall not marry a man simply means the higher mind should not attempt to merge with or become one with the lower mind. It has literally nothing to do wi...

Crossing the Jordan

Quote--->The Jordan is significant in Biblical Mysticism because it represents the waters of truth that one must pass thru to be with Christ. As was already discussed water is symbolic of truth in the bible. The Jordan is the boundary between the physical realm and the spiritual realm. In the bible the only people to cross the Jordan are Christ and the biblical Israelites (biblical Jews). The territory of Juda (the right side) went to the end of Jordan. Beyond that is the territory of man or carnal knowledge. To get to Juda, the right side of God, our carnal mind must pass thru the water of baptism or the deep contemplations of inner truths. King David who represents our inner child, our true self, originated from the right side of Jordan. This is telling us we all originated from spirit or the right side. “all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.” Joshua 3:17 One does not become an Israelite, a Biblical Jew, until they have c...

Cardinal Directions

Quote--->The bible makes a lot of references to the cardinal directions. The bible uses cardinal directions as symbolic metaphors that describe our four basic mental processes or state of being. Take note of this symbolism when interpreting the bible stories. North / Up = Spiritual South / Down = Emotional                                                                                          East / Right = Intellectual / God                                                                              West / Left = Physical / You And when the south wind blows, you say, I...

Basic Biblical Symbolism

Quote---> One does not need to know history to interpret the spiritual message of scripture. In fact adding historical context to scripture actually dilutes the meaning and purpose of scripture. The purpose of the Bible is to teach you about your mind and lead you into becoming the Christ. (Greater things than I you shall do) When reading the bible symbolically you begin to recognize there are much greater depths and meanings to scripture than just a sorted pornographic history lesson. You also begin to see the symbolic patterns in scripture that you were probably unaware of when you were a "minster of the letter". For example the carnal mind is the enemy of God. God also could not stop the iron chariots. The carnal mind and the iron chariots are similar (the same) in that they can both defy God. The temple (your mind) is also built without iron tools (thoughts of the carnal mind). Abel : (a male) Keeper of the sheep, Your higher consciousness, your higher mind, Keeper of...
