Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3 At face value it shows we were baptized into Jesus Christ's death. Now when we read on we see what Jesus Christ died to! For in that he died, he died UNTO sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Romans 6:10 So Jesus Christ died UNTO sin ..... His death was TO sin NOT a death BECAUSE of sin. So now according to Romans 6:3 this is the death into which we have been baptized!
