Seated --- 06

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: ... Eph 2:6

Greetings in that blessed name of Jesus.

We know God created the world in 6 days and on the 7th He rested. On that 6th day man was formed from the dust of the earth. Throughout the bible 6 is seen in many different ways.

David was blessed to bring the ark into Jerusalem and we can see every six paces he stopped and “sacrificed oxen and fatlings.” At the height of Solomon’s kingdom in order to come before him one would have seen “There were six steps to the throne.”

The Prophet Isaiah proclaimed 6 things concerning the Spirit of the Lord .... The Spirit of the Lord GOD is “upon (1)” me, because the LORD has “anointed (2)” me to “bring (3)” good news to the poor; he has “sent (4)” me to bind up the brokenhearted, to “proclaim (5)” liberty to the captives, and the “opening (6)” of the prison to those who are bound;.

In the book of Ruth we read that Boaz give her six measures of barley, and even in the new testament we can find 6 being referenced to.

Just to touch upon 2 examples we find one in 1 Timothy 3:16 ... And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (1), justified in the Spirit (2), seen of angels (3), preached unto the Gentiles (4), believed on in the world (5), received up into glory (6).

So much brings me back to Solomon’s steps of 6 to reach the throne, or most of all “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:21

“6” the number given unto man and the steps one can see in the study of the cross.

We come to the stairs and on the first riser we see the word “crucified” upon it and to step upon that we must understand that Christ took upon Himself our nature and was crucified so that we may have His nature (born again). The next riser we see “died” and we count our old man dead in Christ as we partake with His death through water baptism in His name! Look at the 3rd riser we see that our old man our sin nature is “buried” in Christ. We than look at the 4th riser and see the same power that “quickened” Him from the dead also “quickened” us for we are in Him. As we see its His life we now have we look to the 5th riser and see that we have been “raised” up from His tomb to be at the 6th step which is the step that allows us to be “seated” in Him.

When you look at them 6 steps you will see 3 of them are a work that the power of God does by doing away with ourselves ... ‘crucified,’ ‘died’ and ‘buried.’ That is what the word calls the “operation of God.”

Yes it is God’s doing, not ours; it is His grace towards us in that He is going to remove from us the stoney heart and replace it with a new heart, His heart, His life and all we have to do is receive it and believe (faith) Him for it.

The other 3 is God manifesting Christ in and through us!

Yes Saints before God could bring us into the new life we had to allow Him to remove from us the dead way we were willing our selves to walk in. So He in His grace operated upon us and removed the sentence of death from us by His grace through the crucifixion, death, and burial! Just as there was darkness about the crucifixion of Christ there is a moment when God removes the darkness from us!

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: .... John 17:22

This “glory” Saints that raised Christ from the dead we have been GIVEN!

That we may be one as they are one!

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the “glory” of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4

Do we see it Saints? Do we grasp this “glory” that raised up Christ has ALSO raised us up in Christ and as so we “should walk in newness of life.”

What profound knowledge we have been blessed with that we see, we know, we read and we understand that as Christ hung on the cross God viewed us there. As Christ was buried God viewed us there. As Christ was raised, God viewed us in that; and as Christ now is in the Father our very new life God sees us as one in Him!

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my “glory,” which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24

Would it be not wrong to say “glory” is the full essences of God, His very life!

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: ... Col 1:27

That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. 1 Th 2:12

Lets look at this “glory” from Moses side for it is a question asked from a man unto God that God answers and in the answer we will see why this “glory” has been extended to usward .... "And he (Moses) said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory."—Exodus 33:18.

The words of a man that found grace in the eyes of the Lord makes a request to see “the glory of God” What was Moses look for? One upon a throne in a radiant light of awe? One that was standing in white floating in the air? What was the concept of Moses concerning God and His glory?

Even more thougtful is what was God going to show Moses. His holiness ... How sinful Moses was? His wrath? His power?

NO; Moses hears the still small voice—"I will make all my goodness pass before thee."

WHAT! Screams my heart!

The goodness of God is God's glory.

God's greatest glory is that he is good. The brightest gem in the crown of God is his goodness.

"I will make all my goodness pass before thee." Ex 33:19

His glory towards us is His goodness Saints!!!!!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For God “goodness” towards this world is so great in that He sent His only Son to take upon Himself our nature so that God can impute His nature back to us through His Son that stands upon His hand of power!!!!!

Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1 Cor 1:24

... and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. Eph 1:19-23

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: ... 2 Th 1:11

My Lord what glory you have allowed us to share in!

6 risers and 6 steps gives us 12 and in John 12 Jesus said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

Yes Saints when He was lifted up He is able to draw us all unto Him. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; .....

Ohhhhhh this truth of our One God who was manifested “in” the flesh is the rock we stand upon. It is the truth the devil hates the most! For this truth shows us that the “goodness of God is the very life of God offered unto us through Christ” “not imputing their trespasses unto them” GLORY LORD JESUS MY LORD AND MY GOD!!!!

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Come on Saints how can God who is Spirit be made sin for us? We are flesh and blood and as so God had to make for Himself a body as ours and in it was His life, His blood for humankind and that truth is as I said the ROCK of our foundation!!!! DON’T LET THE DEVIL ROB YOU OF THAT TRUTH!

The 2nd truth the devil hates is “Jesus name baptism” YES the devil knows what happens when one is baptized into Jesus .... the devil loses that one and that one is now a child a son/daughter of God. God becomes that one’s Father and that one receives the Spirit to be guided into this truth of the cross!!!!

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: .... John 15:26

What say He testify of? Jesus! and how He became sin for us so that IN Him we can be made the righteousness of God!

Yes Saints the devil hates Jesus name baptism for it is the glory of God to be and a new child comes forth to take “the word of reconciliation unto all!”

The devil will test baptism by changing the name from Jesus to the titles “Father, Son and Holy Ghost” Or the devil will say its not needed for the new birth or that it is only a symbolism of the new walk.

Come on Saints what 2 truths are fought out the most in this world?

Yes the very ROCK .... the foundation of the gospel that we must hear, see, know and act upon!!!!! Jesus Lord of glory!!!!!!!

Sorry had taken us off the study of the six steps we see to sit with Him in as He sits in His Father’s throne. It is this truth that the devil hates for it will bring forth the manifested sons of God, the perfect man, the body of Christ without spot nor wrinkle!

I want us to peek into a little hole into glory where Paul said we are seated in “heavenly places in Christ Jesus”

Upon the cross Jesus cried it is finished .... Yes His course in this world was finished but the rest was to come.

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Hebrews 1:3-5

What a profound truth “Who (Jesus Christ) being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person” Used His power that holds all together to purge us of “our sins”

WOW the very power of God that formed this universe and the world, which is but His throne and His footstool is the very power He used by “himself” to purge us of “our sins!”

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: .... Ephesians 2:4-6

Saints do you grasp this truth? Do you grasp the fact that God made us alive, He raised us and He made us to sit together in Him while He sits upon His throne in His kingdom!!!!

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:4

It like a puzzle that for years I looked at, I studied and wham it comes together and I start to see the completeness of Christ! I in Him He in me we are one and since He is seated in His Father and His Father is in His kingdom where do you see to be? YES WE ARE IN HEAVENLY PLACES.

Hold up Saints for yes we are seated in Him but we still need a change ...

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:20,21

Don’t let someone tell you this is all over ..... NO NO NO!!!!!

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor 15

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

Yes Saints there is a day when the dead and we who are alive will be given new bodies as He had when He appeared unto the disciples.

However now in the Spirit we don’t look up to heaven, nor do we look to heaven for any blessing, for we must see that we are already in heavenly places!

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, ... Hebrews 12:22

Saints we have the invitation from Christ and we are already come to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem! Come on Saints this is NOT my word .... That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Cor 2:5

We are in the Spiritual realm where God is and we must live as so for this world and all shall pass away but god’s kingdom is forever!!!!

What Adam lost we have been given back in Christ! We are now aware we are spirit being led by His Spirit! We are NOT naked for we are clothed in Christ and the tree of life IS NOT hid from us it is now ours to eat and behold.

This study can not make any walk in it nor can God. It must be our LOVE for Him to allow us to no longer want our will but His.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

6 (whole new study)

7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:4,5,7

Now Saints, them that love the Lord and and hear with their spirit ear we are overcomers of the devil for he is under our feet and the tree of life is ours to eat!

Let me say that one more time ..... the devil IS under our feet!

19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan “under your feet” shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16

Wait! What is the only thing Christ needs to conquer?

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1 Corinthians 15:26

BUTT, BUTT is not the devil a roaring lion? Yes, but does any listen to a voice of a stranger? Does not the devil tempt us? Yes, but does any see their old man is dead? Does not the devil speak to our minds? Yes, Don't we have the mind of Christ?

As you read this Pslam just remeber there is only two seats. There is one in heaven and there is the seat in this world. One seat is Not I but Christ through me. The other seat is “I will for the devil through me.” Which seat does your mouth confess? Which seat does your will sit on and most of all what seat does your love sit upon?

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1

Raised --- 05

By the grace of God we have seen the redemptive work Christ has done for us. I will say it has been such a blessing for me to see what is in my heart and to see it come to life in my mind. As I was chewing on this post I saw something I've seen before in a greater degree .... And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; ... Eph 4:23

‘renewed’ means to be spiritually transformed, to take on a new mind.

Now we know Paul said to the Romans “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

We know we have the mind of Christ ( 1 Cor 2:6-16) and cause of that we are able to receive the spiritual word of the Lord “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” 1 Cor 2:12

That is the battle we are in. The devil works at drawing us back into his kingdom the world and the word of God draws us deeper in the light of Him.

For they that are after the flesh do “mind” the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-11

Paul prayed for the Ephesians “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: ... Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ ... Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Eph 1:17; 3:4; 4:13

This knowledge of the Son of God was not given to the Church until they got filled with the Holy Spirit and committed themselves to know the “mystery of Christ” which we have been looking at. Him being crucified, died, buried, quickened, raised and seated!!!

Its the wisdom of Christ that will lead us to rest with Him in hIS father’s throne. It is the wisdom of Christ that the devil does not want to come forth again for He will than know his time is but short. It is the wisdom of Christ that is our only source for life for outside of Him is darkness and sin.
Father I pray that by your Spirit you give us a supernatural revelation of the redemptive work of Christ and how we must apply it to our selves so that we maybe be over comers in these end times. In Jesus name. Amen!

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: ... Eph 2:6

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Col 2:12

What a glorious plan this message of the mystery of Christ is!!! It just boggles my mind as I feed upon it and see it by His Spirit. It explains this verse in a clear light “Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.

But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.

And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor 2:6-16

Such truth in that that we can come to grasp the truth that we have been raised together with Christ!
Yes He was not only crucified and yes not only did He die and was buried, But He was quickened and raised! I like to remind ourselves that ‘quicken’ means to be (made alive) and is not the same as being raised. Quickening or made alive is given life to, it is the impartation of life; but He was raised then after that.

Now if He is raised there must be some truth here for us to see where we are in Him and how we are to be in Him.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are abovewhere Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1

Yes Saints when Christ was raised from the grave God saw us in Him and and as so we partakers in His resurrection life!

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:19-23

Glory Lord Jesus what a gold nugget to hide in one’s heart ... God’s power; the very power He used to make this universe and world is now directed “to us-ward who believe” The very same power He used to raise Christ from the dead is ours! I’m stumped here. I’m amazed at this revelation that “the working of His mighty power which He used in Christ to raise Him from the dead is now directed to us “who believe!”

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: ... Ephesians 2:5-6

God hath not only made us alive (quickened) together with Christ but He has raised us up together to sit in Christ as He sits in His Father. Can you see how this revelation FORMS us to be over-comers in the here and now?

I have understood the truth that I was dead and buried in Christ for I know that is the doing away with the old man. It is the ‘quickened together” or the impartation of His life to us-ward who believes that I have slowly coming to grasp. Now the Holy Spirit is showing me the rest, this promise land that I can enter in cause of the resurrection of Him.

We must grasp that our inheritance is the fullness of the raised Christ!

Lets look at the Old Testament promise in the New Testament light of Christ.

32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Acts 13:32-34

Ok what a blessing and don’t let anyone tell you there is no teaching in the book of Acts .... Its full of revelation from the Holy Spirit as anointed Men of God spoke and taught.

In Acts 13:32 do we see the word “promise” yes its singular and it was “made unto the fathers” of the Old Testament and God “fulfilled” the promise by raising Christ from the dead. Yes Saints the “raised up Jesus” is the fulfillment of everything in the Old Testament that symbolized Him.This Son of God came into this world to identify Himself with us by taking upon Himself our sins in order that He became who we were and died on the cross. As we have seen God quickened Him and raised Him from the dead and this one that was raised was not the one that was placed in the tomb. Jesus had become who we were when He went into the tomb; that person that we were did not come out of the tomb.

And from him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, ... 1 Corinthians 1:30 (ESV)

God made a whole new race from this one man that Paul called “the last Adam”

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 1 Cor 15:45

We can now be seen as “a new creation” the plan of God given unto that that believe!!!!

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, “the beginning of the creation of God;” .... Rev 3:14

Yes Jesus Christ was the beginning of a new creation where by He is the head of this body.

The very Son of Man that was raised from the dead is who we are in and as so we are a new creation being made into the perfect man in the here and now as we submit to Him the head of the Church and rest in His finished work!

and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, .... Romans 1:4 (ESV)

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Hebrews 1:5
God “declared” Jesus Christ is His Son by the resurrection from the dead. He is the first born from among the dead. He is now the head of a new race, a new creation. The resurrected Son of God is our promised land that the Old testament fathers write about. We are now the new creation the resurrected children of God for He imparts His life to us in our spirits!

.... the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 1 Cor 15:45

When you repented and got baptized in Jesus name you were placed into His life! You are now in union with Him and as so you are in union with the Father.

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:23

When God raised Jesus Christ from the grave He had you in mind!

As God gave life to Jesus Christ God gave his very life to you! Not another life .... His life! The very life of God is now the very life given within our spirit so that we may be alive unto Him in the Spirit!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5 (ESV)

Come on Saints we truly know God from the inner man for our outer man is perishing with time.
but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:4 (ESV)

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16

Yes we have a outter man and a inner man and within us the inner man is the kingdom of God for by His Spirit He abides within us.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, ... 1 Corinthians 6:19 (ESV)

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Corinthians 6:16

In the spirit we are raised in Him and we are invited to rest in Him and to sit in His throne as He is seated in His Father’s throne.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Rev 3:21,22

Do you have an ear? No, not that one you see but the inner ear; the spiritual ear where by we must learn to hear with it and know what the Holy Spirit has to say unto us. Otherwise if you can’t hear your outter man will and it does not want to know what saith the Lord.

We’ve got to learn to live out of our spirits; we’ve got to learn to be spiritually conscious. All that we need will come from the inside out if we but yield to the inner spirit. Yes I agree its not easy to walk in the Spirit nor is it easy to hear what the Spirit has to say to our inner spirit for we have trained the flesh to be our guide. Time we stopped trusting the outter man that is soon to perish and turn to the inner to be led by the spirit. For we are learning to hear and see the Lord. When we say we need an appearing of the Lord, we’re not looking with our physical eyes; we’re looking with our spiritual eyes. We’re seeing Him.
The Bible teaches that the life in the body of Christ will someday increase its domain to the outer man. In other words, that which is true in us will be on us.

I have always felt it will take much more than good preaching to change this world. I have always said it will need a great manifestation of God that will change this world and the Apostle Paul said it by the Spirit.

21 That nature itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption and gain an entrance into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

22 We know that the whole creation has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.

23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the Holy Spirit a foretaste of the blissful things to come groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal our adoption our manifestation as God’s sons. Romans 8:21-
23 (AMP)

Yes this world and all groans and moans wanting ot be set free from the bondage of Adam’s fall. It is waiting for a day that it may partake in a day when the manifested sons of God will come about.

“For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.” 2 Corinthians 5:4 (ESV)

Yes we should be groaning ourselves to be made free from this mortal body, to be swallowed up by His life.

Ohhhhh to grasp that within us we have been giving His resurrection life and we are in union with Him seated above all powers and principalities.

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:20-21 (ESV)

The appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ will be the moment we will transform from this mortal body to a glorious body as His.

Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears[a] we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 (ESV)

What a day we are to see a day when this new creation, this resurrection life will work its way out of us to be who we are called to be .... children of God!

Yes for this earthly house is what hinders the spirit person to shine through but upon a mountain while in the flesh there was a transfiguration.

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. Luke 9:29

We are waiting for the “fullness” to come in “that morality would be swallowed up by His life” and at the moment we have been giving His Spirit as sort of a down payment on something special to come.

Quickened --- 04

Jesus came preaching and teaching the kingdom of God. In Luke’s gospel that the Kingdom of God does not come with observation; but instead, Jesus said, “Behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.” As a follower of Jesus we must have an awareness of the Kingdom of God within us before we are ever going to see the Kingdom of God manifested in this earth.

Come on now Saints think on that .....

Within the kingdom is God's throne and it is there that God is drawing us all to. You see why the devil works overtime in getting us to look back at the world and the dead man. Yes the devil wants our eyes off the kingdom of God for he knows his time is but short.

And you hath he quickenedwho were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Eph 2:1-3

Who was "dead in trespasses and sins?" Yes we were for we "walked" according to the course of this world. We did what the prince of the power of the air told us to do. We conduct ourselves by the "lusts of our flesh" only wanting to "fulfill our own desires of the flesh and MIND; and by nature were on a course to see the wrath of God cause we did not want to have His kingdom within.

However, once we repented and got baptized into Christ we were "quickened" from that old man and that way of life!!!!!

What and how is one "quickened"

1. Quickened = to make one alive together.

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Rom 6:3

Yes to be baptized into His death allowed the power of God to raise us up with him from the dead!!!!!!

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: ... Romans 6:4,5

The power of God is the word of God that is spoken unto us so that we may be quickened from our dead course we traveled on before the cross.

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. Psa 119:50

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickenedtogether with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col 2:13

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: ... 1Pe 3:18

Yes Saints John 3:3,5 .... Born again of "water" and "Spirit" the new birth of the new Child of God.

You can't be born again without either. You can't have 1/2 a life by saying you don't need water baptism in Jesus name. You are still not "quickened" unto Him cause you refuse His word His way His truth!!!!!

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Eph 5:26,27

The word "it" is His body in this world and as long as we stay in the light as He is in the light the blood of His Son Jesus Christ keeps us clean from ALL sin!!!!

The key though Saints is the "light"

Yes the light is the word of God and we must abide in it ... we must feed our inner person the word ... we must RENEW our mind with the word for if we don't we will be OUTSIDE of the light walking after the prince of the air!!!!! The devil!!!!

Glory Lord Jesus .... Thank you for your word, our word, our food, our life.

Yes we now know that quickening applies to the new birth experience and from this we can easily link up the "resurrection" to the spirit-filled life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: .... Romans 6:5

Come on Saints the resurrection life is not all that is available for us. No I tell you we are to sit with Him in the heavenlies; we are to rule and reign from that dimension. We move from this realm into the heavenly realm were He is seated.

Now comes a twist .... yes I say this cause I've read and read many studies on the truth of reigning with Him but each study I did not find what my heart was looking for. So I feel what I am to share is truth from Him and we must know and hold onto this truth for in it we share be found in Him.

One of the problems I find is most Christians have never linked ruling with resting. Why do I say that .... Lets look at what Jesus said "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." John 18:36

This kingdom that Jesus taught on has principles that are altogether totally opposite, and different from those of the world. So many think of ruling and reigning as "physically" working our way into a relationship in which we just conquer things.

But that’s not the way the kingdom of God works.

Come on Saints .... I will tell you I was there ... I don't pray enough .... I don't read enough ... I don't give enough ... That is not the rest we are promised! That is us trying to over come our selves when the cross, the death and resurrection of Christ has done it all for us by making us righteous before God!

Grace Saints .... GRACE!!!!!

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:5-9

To boast is not to tell others what you do .... No! Most boast by thinking they don't DO enough in God's eyes to be saved!!!! The devil is a boaster and he WAS our god and we need to renew our minds from them old boasting ways and see ourselves in the light of God's word!!!!!!

We rest in what has been conquered. We rest in the fact of the conquest of Christ.

Yes Saints as I stated early the main object of God sending His Son is to bring us back into His kingdom before Him!!!!!

If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. Psalm 132:12-14

The Church is Zion Saints!!!! And where do we find the throne of God?

Yes His resting place in the midst of His people. And it is His rest we are seeking for in it we shall find our selves seated with Him.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21

What are we to over come? I feel it is the mind the last place that needs to be renewed.
When we’ve learned everything there is to learn about Jesus and His work, where are we going to be? We are going to be on the throne as overcomers seated in His rest. Have any given thought to what is the throne?

It’s a mercy seat.

"Whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, by his blood". Romans 3:25

'God hath set forth Him as a mercy-seat'. Our place of rest in Him, Christ Jesus.

Why was God lawfully allowed to come in and dwell among His people? Because there was something on that mercy seat that, to Him, allowed Him to rest among the people. Jesus Christ occupies the central place in the whole scheme of redemption, and that place is the mercy-seat. It was there at the mercy-seat that God met the people in the representative person of the high priest in the Old Testament. The only problem is, in the old covenant, it was a rest that kept everybody away except the high priest, just once a year, because he typified the finished work of Christ.

The problem of our rest is not with God. The problem is in our thinking.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example ofunbelief. Hebrews 4:11

The veil in the holiest of holies where God is has been torn open, so that the light from the mercy seat can be shining upon all, drawing us back there.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the "knowledge of the glory of God" in the face of Jesus Christ. 2Cor 4:6

I'm seeing it .... I'm seeing it ... Glory Lord Jesus my God!!!!

Ohhhh Saints lets jump back to Ephesians 2:6  ... “made us sit together in heavenly placesin Christ Jesus." Some may wonder, 'What does that mean?' I tell you Jesus Christ sat down with the Father ON the mercy seat. Therefore, God is bringing us to a place where we will come back and know so much about redemption, that we are willing just to rest in the finished work of Christ.

Upon the mercy seat in Him!!!!!

God is building a man!!!!! "... a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" Yes Saints we are in that perfect man, resting in the finished work of Christ!

I'm sorry for the length of this more is coming forth as I hear the Spirit speak to me and so much is revelation for myself .... for my mind. My heart is feeding my mind .... The light of His word is shining in to my mind. Why WHY ... "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; ....

Yes its the lies of false doctrine that takes us OUT of the rest and we end up like a boat in the midst of a storm being tossed to and fro and soon called by the current of lies that the servants of the devil speak. Men that are very cunning a craft that the devil passes down unto them and they wait till some hit a low in their walk and out they come to deceive.

BUT!!!!! "... speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: ..." Yes the head of the body ... the mind of Christ ... His word spoken by they who love Him will edify one another and together we all may grow up into Him in ALL things!!!!

Let me pause here I hear the Spirit say to me ... Facebook is a place where more judgement is the theme rather than truth. So many point fingers at others instead of feeding the sheep with the word. Come on you know what I am saying. People screaming at holidays, so what!!!! People screaming at the lost that say they are saved .... so what! People screaming at sports ... so what. Give me the word and together we will grow in Him!!!!! Don't get me wrong we judge within BUT if a lie is spoken, it is only showing the lie, but it is the speaking of the truth that will make one free from the lie.

Time to renew this mind and tell it the truth for the truth will make us love Him more for we shall understand His love and plan of salvation for us!!!!!!!!!

So you must tell yourself, the old person you used to be has already been buried. You are no longer the dead man that you used to be.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

If I’m a new creature in Christ, then what happened to the person that I used to be? He was crucified, and then he died and was buried.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Let me say "To tell yourself IS TO SEE YOURSELF"

Time to get honest with ourselves here .... Any of you yet thinking to yourself, “Well, if I’m not the old person I used to be, why do I still do some of the things I used to do?”

You must understand It is not unusual to still have some of the old desires you used to have. This flesh has been trained by the person you used to be, to do things, to yield to it. Our new man must train this flesh. Or think of it this way ... we must stop living to the desires of the flesh and live in the Spirit!

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14

We only obey our desires when we yield to the old man that used to be. The new man is training this flesh as we renew our mind to who we are, because we will always act like the persons we believe ourselves to be.

We are now new creatures in Christ.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom 12:2

Lets look at "what is that good" "what is that acceptable" "what is that perfect" desire (will) of God for us!!!!

This bible teaches us we have died because everything Christ did, he did as your substitute. Whatever Christ did was put down on your account. He did it for you. When God sent Christ to die for you, He didn’t just go there instead of you. If He died just instead of you, then you will not see change in your life.

We must have the understanding that our death in Christ makes us realize that not only are we forgiven, but the person who did those things was also forgiven and no longer exists.

What you were does not exist!

Yes we know Christ was our substitute, and what He did was for us; but what does God see/think? His Son became so much like whom we used to be that God could legally view Christ as being us.
In a place where many fell asleep came a prayer that changed all humankind. “If there’s any other way, take this cup from me.”

WHY? Why did this innocent lamb of God pray such words for us to read and see? Because He didn’t want to be like you or me.

Yes Children of the Most High, Christ Jesus didn’t want to become who we were. I tell you Christ did not die instead of us; He died as us. Glory Lord for He died as everything that we don’t like about ourselves.

He died as everything God didn’t like about us.

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:21

Jesus prayed that we be one in the Father as He is one in us. We are now in union with Christ, we are one with Him; His history is, in fact, our history. We are in the body of Christ and everything that Jesus has is now ours because we are in Him.

Let our minds ask of the Lord this question "I don’t want to know what needs to be done. I want to know what is done. What is the finished work of Christ?”

How it is for us is how we are to live as over comers in Him for the cross of Calvary; Jesus allowed Himself to be taken into the hands of the enemy. So than God is able to bring forth the new man in you by proving that the old man is gone. God knows that the natural process is that if you don’t understand that the old man is gone, you will spend your whole Christian life trying to do away with him.

We can’t do away with the old man ourselves. It always fails no matter how much we think fasting it away, praying it away or just confessing it away. We always end up not being able to do it for we can’t do it.

This than is the the message; you can’t do it and if you could, you wouldn’t need Christ.

“For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” Romans 6:5

It is impossible to have resurrection life without a death.

The Lord didn’t say that you’ve got to live the resurrection life; He said you’ve got to be "planted" in the likeness of His death. Yes we are planted in His death.

So logically if you are planted in the likeness of his death, then the natural consequence is that you will have His resurrection.

Wait a moment you may be thinking; we have a bunch of people preaching resurrection life but living like the devil. Why ... WHY

I will tell you why "Nobody wants that kind of resurrection life."

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Romans 6:6

You see it ... most LOVE themselves ... most LOVE the world and most LOVE money!!!! It is where their desires are .... it is what worries them!!!!

In order to get to the place where we do not serve sin, we must know something; we must know that our old man was crucified with Him.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yieldyourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.Romans 6:13

Who is called to do this? Yes Saints we are called to not yield ourselves as instruments of unrighteousness. We are called instead to yield ourselves unto God as those ALIVE from the dead!!!!! This word instruments, means “weapons.” Quit using your instruments (your arms, your eyes, and your ears) as weapons against yourself.

So we must now say and know that our old man is crucified, that our old man is dead, and so we must quit sinning.

But there is a point here, and that is this reckoning part.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:7-11

Notice that “if we be dead with Christ” is in past tense. Who is he talking to? He is talking to born-again believers, and he says, “if we be dead with Christ.” That’s a past tense thing. Than we are freed from sin. Why should we reckon ourselves to be dead unto sin? Because His death unto sin was our death. He said,

“Don’t do anything, just reckon what He did to be what needed to be done.”

Here’s the point and the way to make it practical.

Knowing this or reckoning, comes before not yielding. Don’t tell people not to yield their instruments if you can’t teach them to know and to reckon. Reckon is the accounting part of it; it’s the mind renewal of it. It’s the thing that links together the “not sinning” and the “knowing.” The reckoning is the constant feeding on that until you get to the place where you say, that’s true. I don’t have to do that. I’m not that kind of person. That is something that is the natural consequence of reckoning. In like manner, we must understand, reckon how we became the righteousness of God in Christ before we will act on it.

This comes from understanding our identification with Christ on the cross in His death.

The word of the Lord teaches us that we are seated together with Him in the heavenlies. We are, right now, in the stage where we are reckoning it to be so. And I tell you in Jesus name God's hand is rising up a ministry who can make us believe it, so we can act on it.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ... Eph 4:11,12

Let me say "The greatest things we have in life are not the things we can put our hands on; they are the things that Jesus did. Our inheritance is a death and a resurrection; it’s ours to believe and live by.

There are things in my life I need to draw from.
There are some things in my life that I still need to have removed.
There are some things in my life that I need to have added.
There are still some things in my life that do not manifest Christ.

But all of that is on deposit for me.

We must stop looking at ourselves and look to Him for all that we has for us.

I tell you once you live off this truth, the bread of life, you will not see yourselves any more for in Him you shall be. So what is going to happen is that the Church (the priesthood) is going to eat the living bread, and we’re going to turn around, and there is not going to be any veil. The veil is gone. We shall see Him as He is!!!!!! In all His glory and the mercy seat He sits upon will be ours to sit on. You sure won't  see your problems. For you don’t have any problems that His blood didn’t take care of.

We can even enter into His rest now, because in Hebrews 6, it says there will be those who taste of the age to come. Somebody has to do it first to show people the way. This has nothing to do with natural things; I’m talking about spiritual things.

Arise and go, for this is no place to rest, because of uncleanness that destroys with a grievous destruction. Micah 2:10 (ESV)

There comes a time in our spiritual life, wherever we are, when we realize that where we are spiritually is not going to bring us to rest. It’s just not going to do it. Every one of us has to leave spiritual things behind when we realize they are not going to work. Which direction do you go? It says arise, you go higher. Not north, south, east, or west, but up.

“Up” is not a direction; it’s a dimension. We go higher in Him cause of the cross. That’s how we depart. If you know rest is on down the line and you stay where you are, you are going to be polluted, and you’re going to be destroyed.

God doesn’t show you something if He doesn’t want you to go there.

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:11-12

Not only are we crucified, and have died; But we were buried together with Him.

Lets look at it this way "If you were crucified, then you died. If you died, You’re buried. If you’re buried, forget it. Your old man is not your problem. Your old man was crucified, died, and was buried.

Being buried with Christ, doing away with your old man, is not something you do. That happened two thousand years before you were ever born. You can’t do that. What you must do is to renew your mind to having been buried. That’s the difference. My job is not to bury me; my job is to understand that I have been buried. We tend to want to examine ourselves and say, “I couldn’t have been buried. After all, I’ve got this temper . . .” and stuff like that. That’s the reason you do, because you don’t understand that the old man is buried.

First of all, everything Jesus did, He did for you, so that what He did was put on your account.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

If He died for me, then I died. This is where it starts.

“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:” 2 Corinthians 5:14

What does “we judge” mean? This is the conclusion of the matter; this is the judgment. This has to be what we see. How many did Jesus die for? All of us; He died for the world.

The Bible says you died and you were buried and you are were raised up and are seated together with Him.

Jesus became so much like us that God viewed us with Christ in all He did.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
This he said, signifying what death he should die. John 12:31-33

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Romans 6:8-10

Paul by the Spirit is not talking about physical death. He is not saying that this is for people in the graveyard. No Jesus Christ is talking about you and me. “If we be dead”—is that past, present, or future?
It’s present tense.

We ‘be’ dead. This is who we ‘be’.

My old man is dead; it’s not what I’m trying to be.

This is the point; quit trying to be this way, and accept what God says about you “being.”

Whose sin did He die unto? He didn’t sin, so He died unto your sin once. His death was your death.

The reason Paul says that, is that your death unto sin was in Him, so quit trying to kill yourself. Killing yourself is not going to do the job; you need to renew your mind to the fact that your old man has been killed.

You can say, “My body is not the real me. I’m in Christ. I don’t do those things. It’s His life flowing from me. Father, forgive me for acting like someone who died. I repent; I refuse to get in strife. I refuse to allow my body to act like the person who used to live in it, the old sinner person.”

The most wonderful thing that happened on calvary was not the physical nails in Christ's hands or feet, but it’s His identification with us.

Christ Jesus wasn’t dreading the physical pain of the cross; NO Christ was dreading the sin of the cross that He was going to have to identify with.

“Father, if there’s any other way, take this cup from me. But nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.
Around 2000 years ago, the sky got black, and Christ was nailed to a cross where He said, “Father, into thy hands, I commend My spirit.” God in the Spirit laid His hands upon the head of the Church and imparted to Him the sins of us all.

There we got everything we deserved.

That is the principle of “buried with Him.”Why does God go into so much detail?" Why doesn’t He just say, “You’re not who you used to be.”

He wants us to not only see our old man was crucified; He wants us to see him taken down from the cross and buried and the tomb closed up. Who’s in that tomb? The person I used to be. When that stone was rolled away and someone came out, that was my representative. It was just like when my representative hung on a rugged cross for me and as me. Jesus walked out of there as a representative of my new man. That’s who I am seated together with in the heavenlies. If I don’t understand the first half, I can’t understand the second half. I will never see myself walking in Christ on earth, until I see Him dying as me on the cross.
