Gentile Blessings Through Faith

Abraham being a Gentile (heathen) received the promises of God by faith. No Law of Moses to follow -----> Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
   
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
   
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
   
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Galatians 3:6-9

What was Abraham blessing that the children of faith receive?

1) Justification (justify) through faith (removal of sins).

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
    
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, .... Luke 1:77

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act 2:38

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Act 10:43

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; .... Romans 3:25

2) Eternal Inheritance of the land of promise; Kingdom of God (In thee shall all nations be blessed).

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14, 15

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
   
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
   
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
   
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
   
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:3-7

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Act 8:12

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:5

Knowledge of Good and Evil

Without the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam would have never seen His need for Life!

See Adam was As Paul said “....subject to vanity,” Romans 8:20

How some may wonder?

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

First off Adam was formed of the dust of the ground! Dust is the substance of a grave! It has no value and it can not hold water.

It just muddles the water!

See ‘dust’ is of the ground and is a part of the earth’s surface. It has no life nor can it substance life, for there is no value in dust!

Dust can not contain water, but dust can be removed by water.

Adam was but the dust of the ground.

The second issue we see when looking at Adam is that he was “naked.”

Yes! Adam was naked from the day that God formed him and by being naked it shows that Adam needed a covering for his nakedness!

The covering was not clothes as we think but a covering of Life!

It was by clothing Adam with skins, that showed Adam he needed another covering not of his kind ....  
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

The very tree of the knowledge of good and evil was but a tree that pointed Adam to the tree of Life that was to come.

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 1 Peter 1:18-21

This tree of life would bring to Adam the needed water to refresh Him and bring forth the fruit of the Spirit within his garden. This tree of Life would be Adam’s covering, for Adam can stand in the righteousness of one worthy to be righteous.

Today's Adams are they that need to be born again of “water” and “Spirit” for without that new birth, Adam is but the dust of the earth.

Ministry of Reconciliation

Brother the Holy Ghost brought to my remembrance "Mephibosheth"

And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth. 2 Samuel 4:4

See I as a 'Mephibosheth" was in the house of Machir hiding from God because I was sold under the law of sin and death. I was afraid to go out knowing all of the house of Saul must die for he as king transgressed the commandment of the LORD and I as one of his Saul’s son's son was under the debt of Saul's sin.

One day someone came to me and told me that there is reconciliation for me for the King is not imputing one's trespasses unto me but offering me His righteousness so that I may abide forever in His house.

Now in the Light I see how by one man's offence death reigned by one.

I did not ask to be lame but the offence of one took me off the path of righteousness.

In this Light I understand how the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

I now walk by His power and might taking this ministry of reconciliation to the Mephibosheth.

Flesh and Blood

Question ----> Praise Lord brother, what of blood and flesh is there any difference?

Blessings indeed in that wonderful name of Jesus.

Good question Brother and indeed worthy to look at.

Reading the KJV for 30+ years now my mind thinks flesh and blood .... to say blood and flesh makes the mind stop for a moment and that sometimes we need.

Flesh and blood is indeed very important to understand and as far as I can see they occur together in the KJV only 5x.

1) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Mat 16:17

2) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1Co 15:50

3) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: .... Gal 1:16

4) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:12

5) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; .... Heb 2:14

First off one will learn by study that the “life is in the blood”

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Leviticus 17:11

Without blood the flesh is dead and without the blood of God, one can not have His Life.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Act 20:28

Put it in a short thought .... The blood (line) of humankind is one that needs its source of life from the earth and as so it will go back to the earth. That is what can be seen as the nature of Adam.

For as in Adam all die, .... 1Co 15:22

There is no God Life in the blood line of Adam and they that abide in that line shall indeed die. The blood line for Life is found in the Son and they that receive this truth will get baptized in Jesus name to become born again as “sons of God” for they receive the blood line of Life that only comes from God. (John 3:3-5)

Now let me come back to your question .....

The flesh is in a way as a cup that holds the life (blood) within. Any that live after flesh and blood will not walk as His children for flesh and blood has to feed off this world for its source of life. What a person sees, feels and eats will bring substance to the blood which than the flesh uses to live from. Now don’t get me wrong we do need many of the earth foods to fuel (feed) this flesh that is not a sin. What makes it a sin, is when one walks as if this world is their only source of life.

See all is to pass away and as so we are taught to put our hope and faith in Him for our source of eternal Life for He is a Spirit and He is indeed eternal (I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelations 1:8; 1:11; 21:6; 22:13)

The blood that flows in our flesh is but of the dust and has no Spirit Life in it. It had none at birth and they who believe not will have none in the grave.

In Matthew 16:17 we read -—> And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:17

Flesh and blood or another person can speak to a person for flesh and blood has fellowship with itself. Jesus is telling us here that the revelation Peter received was not from any flesh and blood man but from the Father Himself which is Spirit.

That still applies to us today!

Many think they can say a simple prayer and ask Jesus into their heart to be their personal saviour is nothing more than a hiss from flesh and blood.

In 1 Corinthians 15:50 we read --> Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Pretty straight forward ..... one born from a woman’s (flesh) that remains in that blood line (flesh) shall not come into the kingdom of God for that blood line is but corrupted.

That verse indeed shows us one needs to truly be born again of “water” and “Spirit” to see and enter into the kingdom of God.

In Galatians 1:16 we read -—> To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: ....

Paul is saying here that he did not consult with another for the revelation of the Son, but that he was taught of the Lord. His revelation indeed was from the Spirit and not from any other person. Yes! Paul does go to Peter 3 years later and spends time sharing with him the revelation he received and knowing Peter saw the Son of God, Paul knew that Peter would confirm that the revelation he received concerning the Son was indeed from the Father.

Now Ephesians 6:12 will be one that will turn up some eyes. This verse I feel has been twisted to blame something of the unseen yet it begins with the seen.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

As a son of God I don’t wrestle with a person but with what has been taught to that person. See “principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places are as our governments, world leaders, teachers of man’s wisdom and religious leaders.

Some have formed a teaching that devils and other spiritual creatures attack us but when taking bible to answer bible one will see that these are but flesh and blood people in ruler-ship that can make laws against us.

Jeremiah said in 13:18 --> Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.

The king and queen ‘principalities (dominion) shall come down”

In Luke 12:11 -->And when they bring you unto the “synagogues,” and unto “magistrates,” and “powers,” take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: ...

Mark 5:22 --> And, behold, there cometh one of the "rulers of the synagogue,” Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

Romans 7:14 --> For we know that the law is “spiritual:” but I am carnal, sold under sin.

The law is wind, air, and breath. When one speaks you hear his breath, his wind which is his spirit (rational soul)

So to have “spiritual wickedness in high places” is to have leaders of big groups who continue to teach wickness from the carnal mind rather than the Holy Ghost.

In Hebrews 2:14 --> Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ...

The “Word” was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. By doing so He was able to partake of all flesh and blood feels and destroy him that had the power of death. Now let me again stir up some eye brows. IF the devil was ‘spirit’ than He would have become ‘spirit’ to destroy him who had the power of death.

Ohhhhhhh wait he became flesh and blood in order to destroy him that had the power of death so him must have been flesh and blood to be destroyed.
    
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: .... Romans 5:12

Look to the Sun!

And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the "soul" of the people was much “discouraged because of the way".
   
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
   
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
   
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. Numbers 21:4-9

As the Lord was speaking to me He opened my heart to the fiery serpent that Moses set upon a pole and every one that was bitten could look upon it and shall live.

I did not understand this in the light I have been blessed with today and this light is now for all to behold and walk by.

See in so called church of today many still look upon that fiery serpent upon a pole thinking life is to be. They don’t realze that is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil the tree that may seem to be good for food (life) but is only death to them for they were biten by it at birth.

For as ‘in’ Adam all die ..... 1Cor 15:22

These many today follow the ways of the world listening to the lie that life is and is there for one to take ahold of and enjoy any way they please as long as it doesn’t hurt another. Some go as far to follow education, jobs, careers and things that are but for the moment and not eternal.

They look upon the pole with the desire to be wise!

Not realizing that the pole is but a curse and the bite there of is death and nothing in this world will bring about a cure but Him who became a curse for us!

Before I press on I want to say this pole with the serpent is so deep in many that God needs to send forth His Apostles and Prophets to teaching the way of truth that the many would not taste of the second death.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. 2 Kings 18:4

The knowledge of the mystery of Christ was not the serpent on the pole ..... but the Son of man which came down from heaven to be lifted up that any that should believe IN Him should not perish but have eternal life (salvation).

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
   
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:13-15

See the Son became a curse for us for it is written “....Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: ....” Galatians 3:13

Many today look upon the Son of God thinking He has come to save any and all that believes on Him; not realizing the truth that eternal life was IN Him!

Yes the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will keep the eyes of the blind closed to the life that has been hid from the foundation of this world.

For they only look to the paths offered by the tree of a curse the ways of this world rather that look to Him who has healing in His wings! Malachi 4:2

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that "look" for him shall he appear the second time without sin "unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28

Walking after the .....

Walking after the flesh for a Gentile is no different than walking after the Law of Mose for a Israelite.

The walk is a ‘work’ rather than of FAITH.

For as many as are of the ‘works’ of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in ‘all’ things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
   
But that no man is ‘justified’ by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just “shall live by faith.”
   
And the law is not OF faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Galatians 3:10-12

That the ‘righteousness of the law’ might be “fulfilled” in us, who walk not ‘after’ the flesh, but after the Spirit.
   
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
   
For to be carnally minded (walking after the flesh) is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
   
Because the carnal mind is “enmity” against God: for it is not “subject” to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
   
So then they that are IN the flesh “cannot please God.” Romans 8:4-8

The curse of walking after the law thinking it will work in righteousness is the same curse upon them who walk after the flesh thinking their works will save them.

One cannot keep the law nor the flesh at the same times as the Spirit. For the law was but a shadow of Him who was to come and the flesh is as a hinder for His righteousness.

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: .... 2 Timothy 1:9,10

Works when used for one’s righteousness is as filthy rags..." (Isa. 64:6) Now notice it does say “righteousness” NOT UNrighteousness.

We must be IN Christ to attain His righteousness for without we shall be what we were born into ..... sin and death!

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh "I live by the faith of the Son of God,” who loved me, and gave himself for me.
   
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, (or walking after the flesh) then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:20,21

Mixers

Just as the mixing of the law of sin and death with the law of life would destroy both so is the mixing of the old covenant with the new covenant.

No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. Matt 9:16, 17

Followers of Jesus do not mix flesh with Spirit, for to do so will bring about death.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev 3:16

Love rules!

Some say Jesus Christ was an observing Jew that obeyed the law of Moses .....

Scripture though shows different.

He repeatedly broke the Sabbath! Matthew 12:1-8, John 5:5-18

He was talking to a strange Samaritan woman! John 4:7-22

He was 'giving the children's bread to the dogs!' Matthew 15:22-28

He contradict the law of Moses in Matthew 5!

AND 6x he changed the law in Matthew 5!

Odd ...... For even the Jewish leaders of His day didn't think so.

Here are the teachings that any observing Jewish believer despised .....

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" John 14:6

"I am the door of the sheep" John 10:7

"He that entereth not by the door but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber" John 10:1

Christ Jesus was the LOVE of God manifested to the whole world to see, hear and obey!

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

In His Name

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:45-47

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Act 4:12

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. Psalm 20:5

spirit of infirmity

Luke 13:11-13 ...... there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, ......

This woman had a 'spirit' of infirmity for 18 years.

For 18 years her mind could not see past the infirmity! She was so overwhelmed with the infirmity that it was constantly in her mind ... Yes this infirmity was but the spirit that did not cease to keep her “bowed together.”

I see not a sickness here, but a woman in bondage to the law of sin and death.

Scraping the dust because the letter of the law was only a "shadow" of Him to come!

See 18 is the fulfillment of the commandments and this woman was about to be made free from the letter of the law to receive grace and truth which is the New Covenant!

What I found amazing in this study is the difference between Matza (unleavened bread) and Bread (leavened). See both need flour and water and someone to kneaded it into a dough. The difference between them is that Bread when left alone for 18 minutes will become ‘leavened’ Bread.

See 18 minutes is the amount of time it takes for Matza (unleavened bread) to turn into Bread (leavened).

Here we have a woman that had a spirit of infirmity for 18 years and because of the infirmity she was completely overcome by it, in that she was bent forward.

The law of Moses in no wise could help any to be perfect just as this woman who was under the law “could in no wise lift up herself!”


                For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did
by the which we draw nigh unto God. Hebrews 7:19

18 years I see is the time of fulfillment for her; for one greater than the law called out to her ....

"Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity."


Ohhhhhhhhh the joy that flooded her soul to hear that voice speak a word that would make her free from an infirmity that held her in a position of seeing nothing but dust!

Not only did Jesus call her, He acted as a High Priest and laid His hands on her and IMMEDIATELY she was made straight!!!!!

Ohhhhhhhh GLORY

A display for all to see; This woman now has a new beginning, not bowed to the infirmity but straightened up to “glorify God.”

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
   
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
   
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16

Unclean .... thingS

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean (thing); and I will receive you,

The word THING is added to the KJV Bible.

If we take it out and read the verses we shall see the TRUTH .....

Be ye not unequally yoked together with ""unbelievers:""

for what fellowship hath righteousness with ""unrighteousness?""

and what communion hath light with ""darkness?""

And what concord hath Christ with ""Belial?""

or what part hath he that believeth with an ""infidel?""

And what agreement hath the temple of God with ""idols?""

for ye are the temple of the living God;

as God hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the ""unclean;"" and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty.

So I see the unclean as....
unbelievers
unrighteousness
darkness
Belial
infidel
idols

Many today turn back to unequally yoke themselves with the unclean. (plow the earth for life rather than looking to Him)

Many today have fellowship with the unrighteousness of the unclean. (Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.) James 4:4

Many today participation with darkness.

Many today agree with Belial (worthless or wicked) rather than they of the faith!

Many today take part with the infidel (unfaithful, faithless) when they leave the faith.

Many today replace God for idols of worldly things.

Many need to pay heed to the Word and .... come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the ""unclean:"" and I will receive you.

For if they don’t how will He receive them?

Perfection from the law? or from following Jesus?

Christ Jesus came with the kingdom of God IN Him, for the kingdom IS the gospel (And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23)

Just as the kingdom must be IN us (Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21).

Before the manifested sons of God can bring the kingdom to all creation (Romans 8:18-23), it must first be established WITHIN THEM.

We enter INTO the kingdom of God, just as God (kingdom) enters into us.

However! Jesus said that unless our "righteousness" should "exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees", we will NOT enter into the kingdom (Matthew 5:20).

Even Saul (Apostle Paul) was a Pharisee who "...touching righteousness which is of the law, BLAMELESS" (Philippians 3:6), yet Saul (Apostle Paul) was NOT fit for the kingdom.

Look at the rich young man (Matthew 19:16-26) who came to Jesus seeking ‘eternal life’ and was denied it, even though he kept all of the commandments from his youth.

Why?

He lacked "perfection".

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be “perfect,” go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Matthew 19:21

Yes Jesus said unto him “If you want to be “PERFECT” go and sell what you have and give it to the poor and come and follow me.

Wait a moment here yea law teachers ......

This rich young man was told by Jesus “... if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments” and He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

‘What lack I”

Jesus answer to the rich young man just showed that keeping all the old covenant and ten commandments is not good enough to enter the kingdom of God.

For the rich young man is told by Jesus that in order to be "perfect" (Greek: teleios, complete, mature) he must rid himself of the worldly weights that hinder him from being mature, and that maturity only comes by following Jesus!

So we see here that the keeping of the old covenant and ten commandments does not "perfected [matured] NOTHING"

For the law “made nothing perfect,” but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Hebrews 7:19

Chastisement

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; ..... Titus 2:11,12

Paul here tells us that the “grace” of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, ‘teaching’ us that ..... denying ungodliness, worldly lusts .....

 As I was chewing on that word I begin to see how that the grace of God is in my life for a reason. And that reason is to ‘chasten’ me when I’m walking after ungodliness and worldly lusts. The reason for the word change of “teaching” is that in the Greek it also means to “chasten” G3811.

As I have said let the Word of God interpret the Word! So lets look deeper into G3811 (chasten, chastise)

In Hebrews 12:1-10 we find how important it is and why the Father chasteneth His own. I like to take out of the context V6 and look at it .... For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth (G3811), and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Hebrews 12:6

As our earthly fathers chasteneth us when we faulted so will our heavenly Father chasten us when we walk in ungodliness and worldly lusts.

I have learned that a teaching can’t be based upon one scripture so I like to look at 1 Corinthians 11:32
   
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:32

Now V32 in context has some deep truth for us today. That truth is ‘ ... whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.’

Now some will scream that's communion .... Yes Paul does talk about the Lord’s supper in the context of 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 but what many miss is this chapter is showing how the Church of Corinthians came together to fellowship with “divisions among” them.

This division is but NOT LOVING the brethren!!!!!

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:17

For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
   
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. 1 Corinthians 11:21, 22

“HERESIES” cries the heart of the Man of God to them that ignore the needs of the body of Christ and “For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.”

Come on now! That IS the Word of God .....

Because of this heresy many were weak, sickly and passed away for all of this is but from the Father!

But when we are judged, we are chastened (G3811) of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:32

Yes many about today walk in ‘heresy’ by judging others for what they see in them and NOT judging themselves for the fault/sin in them!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh many will scream that be not so! However, Let God’s Word be true and every man a lair!

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31

JUDGE WHO? OURSELVES!!!!!

Paul is indeed showing the Church that they that come together and do not discern the needy, the weak in the fellowship, but speak against them by bettering themselves is guilt of “heresies” and as so WILL BE JUDGED AND CHASTENED OF THE LORD!!!!!!!

Yes God judgement upon them is but His love for them in that He chastens them in love/grace hoping they but judge themselves which is the act of seeing one’s self.

Jesus said “If your brother sins against you, go and confront him “privately.” If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.” Matthew 18:15

Paul re-enforces this when he wrote “Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the Law of Christ.…” Galatians 6:1,2

Instead many in the Corinthians fellowship were talking of another’s sin behind their back, which when they all got together they that listened separated themselves from the weaker one.

sects .... groups ..... not the norm of the Church ..... But of the world!!!!!


"The grace of God...chastens us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world"  Titus 2:11,12

The Word of God has more to say on how His Grace, His Word and His Love is given to them that are born again of ‘water’ and ‘Spirit!’

.... But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: .... Romans 5:20

When sin is in abundance the grace of God abounds more in strengthening that one to repent from that sin and if that one refuses to repent that grace is as chastisement upon that one!

God doesn't chasten us as punishment; but to keep us in our relationship with Him.
   
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. Psalm 94:12, 13

"Grace...chastens us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts..." Titus 2:11, 12

Chastening is GRACE in action!!!!!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1,2

The actions of many may be seen as a child’s attitude of not wanting to change from one that lives in ungodliness and worldly lusts to one that lives by His power to be as His likeness in this world. For they think God wants to save them as they are not realizing that the “penalty of sin is DEATH!”

Jesus said “....Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” John 5:14

Yes we are “...justified freely by his grace....” However! Grace does not turn a blind eye to a child that is living in ungodliness and worldly lusts!

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: .... Act 17:30

vanity = emptiness

For the creature was “"made“ subject to vanity#, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope ..... Romans 8:20

#vanity = emptiness

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Genesis 3:19

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:25

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: ... Revealtion 3:17

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, ...2 Timothy 1:9

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; ... Titus 1:2

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, ... 1 Peter 1:19,20

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: ... Ephesians 1:1

The reason this light turned on in me was I believed in a fall of man.

As I questioned the tare, the teaching of the fall of man, I saw Romans 8:20,21.

When I left Kenya in 2015, I left saying that I am stuck at Romans 8:20, 21; but knew the light was to come when the time was right.

Adam was made from dust and was naked. I don’t want to base or assume anything of thos two aspects untill I look at them in the Word of God.

DUST ----–

And the LORD God “formed” man of the “dust of the ground” ...Genesis 2:7

Behold, I was “shapen” in iniquity. Psalm 51:5

The first man is of the earth, [dust] earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:47

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth “corruption” inherit incorruption.1 Corinthians 15:50

Dust ..... Earth ..... Flesh = corruption.

Naked/nakedness

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and “naked”: ... Revelation 3:17

And they were both “naked”, the man and his wife, and [ like Laodicea] were not ashamed. Genesis 2:25

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he “walk naked”, and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her “desolate and naked”, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. Revelation 17:16

I see naked/nakedness in the scriptures is equated with sin: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that “the shame of thy nakedness do not appear”; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:18

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Revelation 19:8

So I see that Adam was not created dressed in white linen; but naked!

The doctrine of ‘the fall’ or “origin sin” has deceived many into believing that Adam was originally immortal ......

Yet! Look at what Brother Paul said ..... What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not “known” sin, but by the law: .... Romans 7:7

For as in Adam (dust) all die, even so in Christ (Spirit) shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1 Corinthians 15:22-26

As I contuined looking into His Word I noticed in Genesis 2:17 the word “surely.”

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt “surely” die. Genesis 2:17

The word “surely” has the same Strong's dictionary number as "die."

Before we dive into "surely" and "die" I want to remind ourselves that Genesis 2:17 is God speaking to Adam about eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

So to me it looks as if God is saying to Adam .... "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you are not to be eating from it, for in the day you eat from it, 'to die shall you be dying.'"

Adam was to die before he even ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ......

Before I close this off I want to look deeper into ‘sin’ as seen in His word.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16

So it seems all sins are seen in these three classes:
1) The lust of the flesh,
2) The lust of the eyes, and
3) The pride of life.

Now we know from John that these three classes of sin “IS NOT OF the Father. However! When we look back to the tree and Eve we can see what is not of the Father ..... And when the woman “saw” that the tree was good for food, and that it was “pleasant” to the eyes, and a tree to be “desired” to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
   
And the “eyes” of them both were “opened”, and they KNEW that they were NAKED; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Genesis 3:6,7

So now what is not of the Father is seen in Eve before she picked of the tree.

1) was good for food [the lust of the flesh]
2) pleasant to the eyes [the lust of the eyes]
3) desired to make one wise [the pride of life]

So I see that Eve committed every class of sin in 1 John 2:16 BEFORE she picked the tree that would open her eyes to see that Adam and her had been created in a “naked” condition.
