Dead House Guest

To reckon it so is to see and believe the truth. Likewise “reckon” ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:11 Reckon = To take into account, to make account of. Some find it easier to believe they will never die than to believe they are dead already! KNOWING THIS, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin MIGHT be destroyed, that henceforth we should not SERVE sin. Romans 6:6 Without knowing one remains a servant to sin. For the Truth is what will make one free!     And have put on the new man, which is renewed in KNOWLEDGE after the image of him that created him: .... Col 3:10 Such strong words to see, understand and most of all walk by. So many times I see my old man in the mirror and wonder why WHY. I tried the way of name it claim it .... I tried the way of praying it through ... I tried the way of doing good more than evil. And all the time my old man smiled more and more at me.

Hiss as air

And they were both naked (Strong's H6174 - `arowm), the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Gen 2:25 Now the serpent was more subtil (Strong's H6174 - `arowm) than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Gen 3:1 Naked ..... subtil. Both different words in our language yet in Hebrew one and the same word. 'arowm, to be (or make) bare... (through the idea of smoothness) to be cunning (usually in a bad sense). The next thought is talking. The woman is talking with a serpent. hmmmmmmmmmmm WHAT! only a serpent talked? or did the woman know serpent tongue to talk to the serpent? The FIRST communion we read about is between a Woman and a serpent. Yes Adam talked with God; but the first communion between dust of the earth was indeed a woman and a serpent. Ohhhhhhhhhhh there might have been much talk between Adam an

Law

"...my brethren, ye...are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.  What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law...” Romans 7:4 -7 “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.”  Romans 7:12  “For we know that the law is spiritual...” Rom. 7:14  "...The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 2 Corinthians 3:6  “...the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones...” 2 Corinthians 3:7  “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should se

Hammered or Beaten work

The lampstand did not need to be beaten to show forth the Light of God. The lampstand took a beating to bring forth Life to all men. For the beating of the gold points to the sufferings of Christ ... Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole Roman cohort around Him. They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They spat on Him, and took the reed and began to beat Him on the head. Matthew 27: 26- 30 Just as the gold was pure already He was pure in all His ways. Yet for the sake of humankind He bore much beatings to be the Light of the world, whereby all can receive the Holy Ghost. The Life within Him that came forth to all that receive Him. In him was lif

Pure Golden Lampstand

31 “You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece. 32 And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. 33 Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand. 34 On the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower. 35 And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand. 36 Their knobs and their branches shall be o

Muddy Water

Our door mat was dirty for I been hauling dirt to the gardens. So I took the garden hose and sprayed water on the mat. At first the water flowed through the mat real dirty. It was brown and the clear water was muddied by the dirt in the mat. After a bit the water started to flow clear and I knew the mat was getting clean. The next day as I was studying the Word of the Lord I saw the mat and water and the Lord told me we are vessels of clay that needed His water, His Word to slowly wash us clean. He does not scream at us nor rebuke us for the dirty water He sees coming out of us. Rather His love and forgiveness is seen while grace washes us clean of our dirt .... our flesh. And there were set there "six" waterpots of stone, after the manner of the "purifying" of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with "water." And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the

Offering of All 02

The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek . Psalm 110:4 What a blessing to know that our High Priest is not after the order of Aaron. For Aaron's priesthood was a shadow, a figure of the work of Christ upon the earth. Our High Priest is eternal and is our Lord and He knew we needed something more then the priesthood of Aaron. The glory and majesty of Christ’s Priesthood lies in the truth that He rendered the veil and entered in for us. He is now seated in God imparting unto His children the powers of the heavenly life. He now has made a way in that we have been baptized into Him by water baptism and as our High Priest He is able to continually intercede on our behalf in the power of an endless Life. As sons of God, we need to count upon Jesus to work in us the power of His life for He is able to impart His Life to us for He is our High Priest. His resurrection and ascension power can be given unto us, for the cross
