Ephesians 4:17, 18 Repentance is to NOT walk in the 1) vanity of our minds 2) our understanding darkened 3) alienated from the life of God 4) through the ignorance that is in them 5) because of the blindness of the heart Darkness IS IGNORANCE and to be in darkness means to be in ignorance. Ignorance is a condition of the MIND , in which the mind lacks UNDERSTANDING . The Apostles Paul tells us that men have their “ UNDERSTANDING darkened” because of the “ ignorance ” that is in them! It is this condition of ignorance that causes the whole world of men to walk in darkness, being lost, alienated from the life that is in God. So let us walk ( UNDERSTANDING ) not as other Gentiles walk ( UNDERSTANDING )

Jesus told many parables during His three and half years of ministry. There is no telling how many; but more than three dozen of His parables were recorded.
