Anointing
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18, 19
ANOINTED ME ..... IT IS THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT that will also mark and identify God's sons as being called to minister His word of truth and Spirit.
Some think a piece of paper does it, or some bible school. But what that some are missing is it is the anointing that they need, for without it they are as messengers without a message, and as lamps with no oil.
Jesus Christ anointing was not a partial anointing (John 3:34) nor was it that ‘EARNEST OF THE SPIRIT’ which we have received.” (2 Corinthians 5:5)
What the sons of God are seeing is the Holy Spirit has been given as a pledge or down payment, and that the full amount will subsequently be paid.
The “earnest” of the full inheritance which will be received when the sons of God have sufficiently matured to be entrusted with the balance of their inheritance – ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD!
Yes Paul's prayer for the Ephesians, ".... that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Ohhhhh soon the sons shall be manifested and filled with all the fullness of God and as so will walk with the fullness of the Spirit in them and upon them!!!!
As sons of God the Spirit of Christ dwells within us, we have received the EARNEST of our inheritance, but we are earnestly exhorted to “.... gird up the loins of your mind, and be sober, and hope to the end for the GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION (FULL UNVEILING) OF JESUS CHRIST. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” I Peter 1:13-16
We must GROW IN GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, the process of the unfolding of Himself out of Himself within us.
Yes how we must see the purpose of the Holy Ghost is to baptize us with the Holy Ghost Fire that will purify our soul and body, bringing us into a realm with God where we are changed from strength to strength, from glory to glory, and faith to faith until we come into a walk with God where we begin to grow up into all the nature, wisdom, knowledge, power and glory of God.
That’s the heart-cry of God in this hour. God wants to mature a people and fill them with ALL THE FULLNESS OF Him!!!!
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12
The power of God shall at last conquer the nations, and sin, sorrow and death shall be swallowed up in victory.
Humankind shall no longer receive merely the forgiveness of sins with peace and joy and hope, but a FULL DELIVERANCE AND TRANSFORMATION from sin, limitation and death.
How I Praise God for the earnest – BUT know we MUST follow on to receive THE FULLNESS!
