Return of Christ
Bless Our Life, Light and LOVE.
Well for us we are closing up the yard pretty quick for come Sept 22 is
the first day of Fall. For us that begins our cold and rainy season
which will lead to Winter =/
I was chewing on these verses today--->Take ye heed, watch and pray:
for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants,
and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,
at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest
coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:33-37
Now what made me stop for a moment and chew on those verses was the word "watch."
In today's world we think watch implies keeping an eye out for something or someone.
Yet!
The word "watch" meant something else years ago.
Watch = to be sleepless, keep awake, watch (G69)
To be sleepless hmmmmmmmmm so you can read the verse this way "Take ye
heed, be sleepless (keep awake) and pray (Worship! Romans 12:1,2 [sacrifice]): for ye know not
when the time is.
So how many are sleeping in the lower nature (carnal mind)?
I've always said "When did Adam wake up?"
After seeing the meaning of "watch" I had a question that spoke deep ...
"What if the return of Christ is about the return of our true nature?"
Ohhhhhhhhhh some will say.
Well after all LOVE said "...Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Gen 1:26
Also notice "...For the Son of man is as a man...." Now what if the Son of man shows us a journey of the soul, and the journey is about what takes place on the inside, not the outside.
Could the “Son of man” represents the action wherein the soul is being made perfect, towards the image of the Christ.
Truth be, the journey going from being a “Son of man” to becoming a “Son
of God” is the end of the journey wherein we have conformed to the image
of Christ.
Notice CREATED not MADE?
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 1:27
Let us think on this "... Could being conformed to the image of the Christ actually be the meaning of the return of Christ?"
