Flesh and Spirit
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. Galatians 5:17 Duality of a person is the soul caught between the flesh and the Spirit. From birth the soul is taught by the flesh that its source of life is the wants and desires of the flesh. When the flesh is hungry the soul lets others know, when the flesh wants something the soul again lets others know and when the flesh is hurt the soul knows. So from birth our soul knows no other source of life but the flesh. In this world that we have been placed in, our family, education and environment is our teacher to our soul in telling it that its source of life is there for the taking.
