Flesh and Spirit

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. Galatians 5:17

Duality of a person is the soul caught between the flesh and the Spirit. From birth the soul is taught by the flesh that its source of life is the wants and desires of the flesh. When the flesh is hungry the soul lets others know, when the flesh wants something the soul again lets others know and when the flesh is hurt the soul knows. So from birth our soul knows no other source of life but the flesh.

In this world that we have been placed in, our family, education and environment is our teacher to our soul in telling it that its source of life is there for the taking. We are so govern by our 5 senses (Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, and Touch) that we know no other life source.

Many learn from MYSTERY, BABYLON how to be a good person in the midst of what they are told is evil. It is what the Word of life calls the 'knowledge of good and evil' and this knowledge truly is the fruit of the mind. The soul is so much in love with its flesh that it can not see there is a Father who heart's desire is to be the life source for the soul.

However, MYSTERY, BABYLON has taken the Father and put Him in a book and tells everyone what she wants them to know in order that she will remain upon the throne of the heart, rather then the Spirit of a all loving Father.

Don't worry MYSTERY, BABYLON thinks she will rule forever but there is only ONE that is forever and that ONE is Spirit and they who hEAR from Him are they who turn from the flesh to spirit!

We can look at this war back in Genesis 25:19-34 and see Rebekah as the soul and her twins as flesh and spirit.

During Rebekah pregnancy she found that 'the children struggled together within her' A war within her WOMB! She did not have google to help her nor did she have some doctor to run to, but she had the ONE who knew the beginning to the end! YES, she asked Father for His advice concerning the war within her womb. (Gen. 25:22)

Father said unto her ...... wait wait. Now before pressing on SHE HEARD! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Father is always wanting to speaking if we are WILLing to listen! Father said unto her "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger."

TWO nations are in her WOMB and when she gives birth the older will serve the younger ..... Can you see the war within your womb? Flesh warring against spirit? AND only one will serve the other and Father gives the wisdom and power so that the younger will serve the Spirit!

"When her time came to give birth, there were indeed twins in her womb. The first one came out red, covered with hair like a fur coat; so they named him Esau. After this, his brother came out grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob."

So much in that verse and in a nutshell 'red' is what the first man was made from for red represents DIRT! Esau came forth from the womb looking like a beast of the field, rather then a baby with smooth skin! You like to know what the mark of the beast is in Revelation 13? Look at them who MIND the flesh!

Now Jacob came forth 'grasping Esau’s heel' .... HEEL .... Now think about it for a second and chew on this verse--->And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his HEEL. Gen 3:15

The first born is but the flesh and the second born is the one born again (from above). For Esau's gave up his birth rite and his inheritance to the flesh. Esau obedience to the flesh is seen in a sad way "Esau despised his birthright."

Now there is so much that can be seen in the lives of Esau and Jacob that time and space is not available now, but let us jump to the night Jacob wakes up from a war with a message to learn the Truth concerning who he is!

Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men, and you have prevailed.” Gen 32:28

Jacob the soul struggled with the flesh (men) and with the Spirit (God) and because Jacob did not want the flesh to win he found grace from God to have the victory given to him!

GLORY ..... GLORY .... GLORY!

Take a moment and look at your self and see this war within. or is there a war? What is your soul doing in this war? Is it relaying upon the flesh or is it sowing to the Spirit? Many have died in this battle in that they surrendered to the flesh, for it was easier.

Many though continue to sow to the Spirit and shall reap life eternal for it is the promise of the Father!

Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Gal 6:7-9

Now to sow is to plant to the MIND either what the flesh wants or what the Father wants. See the soul is between the flesh and the spirit and it is up to the soul who it shall serve.
