Stretched out Arm

God has always been One, that as a Father, He is protector of His children and creation.

Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I WILL REDEEM YOU WITH A STRETCHED OUT ARM, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. Exodus 6:6,7

In order for God to call out His, He had to “redeem” them “…with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments ….”

I by His grace would like to focus upon how God today has “redeem” us “…. with a stretched out arm, ….”

We need to go forward to a time when God’s “stretched out arm” is seen in this world.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

There was no glory seen when the Lamb of God came before John nor was there any glory of the Lamb of God until His death and resurrection.

The glory that John and many others witness was the glory of the Father who tabernacle in the Lamb and was the grace and truth that filled the Lamb.

The word “dwelt” is ‘skēnoō’ and it means = to tent or encamp, i.e. (figuratively) to occupy (as a mansion) or (specially), to reside (as God did in the Tabernacle of old, a symbol of protection and communion):—dwell.

How do we know that is truth?

Look at John for he …. bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: FOR HE WAS BEFORE ME. John 1:15

“FOR HE WAS BEFORE ME!” Ohhhhhhh such glory for John to know and behold that He who was before all was now dwelling in union with flesh and blood to bring unto this world His “grace and truth,”

The redeeming arm of God!!!!!!

We know from John 1:1 ----> In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.

God’s Word, His LOGOS is His promise and He promised to redeem mankind before the foundation of the world.

Throughout the Old Testament (OT) God spoke to the Prophets by His Spirit which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory THAT SHOULD FOLLOW. 1 Peter 1:1

We can see this in the book of Isiah (Esaias) ----> And he (God) saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his (God) ARM BROUGHT SALVATION UNTO HIM; and his righteousness, it sustained him. Isaiah 59:16

To wit, that God WAS IN Christ, reconciling the world UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19

When His arm reached forth into the darkness the Prophet Isiah shows us what happened to them that was present that time ----> Who hath believed our report? and to whom IS THE ARM OF THE LORD REVEALED? Isaiah 53:1

Sadly yes, many refused to accept the truth that it was God doing all His will for mankind ----> But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord BEEN revealed? John 12:38

It is no surprise to even see today’s lost claiming to follow Him yet rejecting the very truth of God to follow man made doctrines called ‘trinity’ or ‘twoness.’ They spit out God the Son and have no verse to base their teachings upon. They reject the Truth that God Himself shall carry out His Word in that it is His “STRETCHED OUT ARM” that shall save all that believe in Him and His saving name JESUS!

For the revelation of the God of glory is fully manifested in His name.

Now in order to say the arm is flesh we need to find a Prophet who was revealed that truth too.

Thus saith the LORD; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5

So we can see the arm of the LORD is the flesh of the LORD, for the arm is revealed by Jeremiah as the flesh.

As so, the Son of God was flesh just like us; that is, the flesh of man, being a descendant of Adam, as a natural human being with a natural human nature. Yes! Jesus was a descendant of Adam after Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The only difference between Jesus and any descendant of Adam is the Holy Ghost is his Father!

So the arm of God stretched forth into this world veiled in flesh and blood to work out His grace and truth by redeeming all that obey Him.

Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Job 40:9

The redeeming power of God would be manifested in the Son of man and trough the Son so all would know it is His saving power and Him alone.

My righteousness is near; MY salvation is gone forth, and MINE arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on MINE ARM shall they trust. Isaiah 51:5

The manifested God is Jesus Christ in glorification, declared to be the Son of God by the resurrection from the dead.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:1-7

In Jesus Christ alone is salvation, and there is none other.

Therefore my people shall know MY NAME (Jesus Christ): therefore they shall know in that day that I AM he that doth SPEAK: behold, it is I. Isaiah 52:6

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his NAME ONE (Jesus Christ). Zechariah 14:9

The LORD hath made BARE HIS HOLY ARM in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation OF OUR God. Isaiah 52:10

Lets jump in deeper ..... Gods holy arm, Jesus Christ, in the body of His flesh, is salvation to all the earth.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7

The deceivers and antichrists do not see God's arm in the body of His flesh Jesus Christ but they that do will be the ones to bring salvation to all the earth ....

.....Jesus Christ is come in the flesh ..... Present state of doing ..... He is active today in His body; we are His flesh for His arm to work through.

That which was from the beginning, which we have HEARD, which we have SEEN with our eyes, which we have LOOKED upon, and our hands have HANDLED, of the Word of life; (For the life was MANIFESTED, and we have SEEN it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was MANIFESTED unto us;) That which we have SEEN and HEARD declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:1-3

Who was from the beginning?

The Word (John 1:1) who is God and God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and as so we can’t not see Spirit; however the Word that was from the beginning, the Word of life was MANIFESTED [seen and heard]…..

To whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

The arm of the LORD is none other than God manifested in the flesh as the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.
