Bless Father indeed. As I look at this chat, Father reminds me of a vision I read yesterday. See today's chat was the build up of what Father is teaching me. Now a river is a current of energy. It is very strong and the only way to shut it down is to dam it up from its source. The source of heaven's river is the Father and I tell you Father is LIFE , He is the pure crystal clear river that flows from Him to ALL of humanity! To many Christians today the Old Testament is a closed book, and is viewed as simply a recording of history, which appears to relate to peoples other than ourselves. This, I fear, has led to a shallowness of understanding in many, regarding the ways of God and His plan for the ages. Along this line of thought, we are told it is the New Testament, which is important to us today. It must be asserted that the New Testament does contain later revelation, than that contained in the Old Testament. However, it is equally important to understand that the New Testament is contained in the Old Testament, even though to many it is concealed. The very foundation of the most important doctrines of the New Testament, are in fact all clearly laid out in the Old Testament. This is a provable argument that our understanding of the New Covenant will depend very largely on our understanding of the Old Testament.
