That I may win Christ
Bless the Lord Sister .... Ohhhhhhh how some now days needs to read that in the Light of His Spirit.
As Paul, as we.
In the day of the resurrection we shall have finally put off these vessels of dust to receive our gift, the glorified body.
Paul proclaims by the Holy Ghost that he has not yet attained that body for the resurrection has not come to pass.
However! He ceases not to follow after it as if it is going to happen any moment.
WHY? But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1Cor 9:27
Paul knew by the Holy Ghost that if he did not have his body desires under control and his will in Christ, he himself would be a castaway on that day.
Castaway!
So many think that living for the body sins, they will not reap from it. What they miss is their body will bring them back into bondage to sin and sin will be upon the throne of their heart and their eyes will be no longer on the "mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
For when that day comes.
The day the Body of Christ awaits for, many ohhhhhhh many will not be; for they shall be as they are before that day .... CASTAWAYS!
Time to wake up children of God and get your eyes off any prize you think this world has to offer and fix the eyes of your heart upon the true prize to come!!!!
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Phil 3:7,8
