Balaam Ways
A Word came forth this morning from a Dear Brother and I feel to bring the Word here.
"He feeds us with the hidden manna"
Amen the hidden manna for the over comer. And to think the manna is hidden because they within think they see and hear but the manna they feed upon is the stale manna of ages past.
The hidden manna is the LIVING MANNA for they age we are in. It is manna that leads one into a relationship with God rather than a church that is lead by the blind. The pulpits today are filled with teachers/preachers who are blind leaders of the blind.
Blind men do not see and as so the manna is hidden from them.
Hidden manna ...... what was the things Jesus hated of that Church.
1) them that hold the doctrine of Balaam
2) them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans

Both 1 and 2 are a covetousness type.
“Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness.” II Peter 2:15
Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah” Jude 11
“I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” Revelation 2:14
God is wanting me on this road for a reason Brother and I will press on for my eyes will see.
Now we see ...
1) the “way of Balaam.”
2) the “error of Balaam.”
3) the “doctrine of Balaam.”

Balaam is of great importance in the Word of God, for he is mentioned 60 times in fifty-seven verses in no less than eight of the sixty-six books of the Bible — more than any other prophet!
To shorten the story the king Balak wanted Balaam to curse the children of Israel.
Now think of this one named "balaam." He had a reputation that what ever he said it would happen. Even greater yet he heard from God and was knowing as a prophet.
However. God does not look upon the man but upon the heart of man.
Balaam when first approached by the men from king Balak took the request to prayer and the Lord answered Balaam.
And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.
And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me leave to go with you. Numbers 22:12,13
That was not what king Balak wanted so he "...sent yet again princes, more, and more honorable than they." Numbers 22:15
With the king's word "...For I will promote thee unto very great honor, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people." Numbers 22:17
Yes higher blessings being offered unto Balaam by MORE HONORABLE princes of king Balak. The blessings of VERY GREAT HONOR and ""whatsoever."
Yet the heart of Balaam was one of covetousness in a greater way. For He again tells these ones sent to him that he will again seek the Lord and give an answer in the morning.
Ahhhhhhhh the "covetousness" way is already manifested for Balaam throws out the bait of "WHATSOEVER!"
And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more. Numbers 22:18
Ohhhhhhhhh some might think or say but yes "SILVER and GOLD" is the bait of the heart of Balaam unto king Balak.
Sorcery at its finest as displayed by Simon in Acts when Peter rebukes him saying "...for thy heart is not right in the sight of God."
Yes the heart of man can and is the downfall of man. For as he thinketh IN his heart so is he!
And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab. Numbers 22:20,21
Now some may wonder why God tells Balaam to go but does them that wonder see when God came unto Balaam? Yes "...AT NIGHT!" God came and answered Balaam according to his heart which was not wanting the way of light but rather NIGHT!"
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:9-10
Before we move on one can see the night within Balaam heart by his answer to the princes of Balak.
Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me MORE. Numbers 22:19
MORE! As if to say God's first answer to his request was not right, not good enough, not well thought out. This man was to press the issue MORE unto God!
God answer for Balaam is a hook baited with Truth to show forth the evil that lurks in Balaam heart.
And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; "...but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do." Number 22:20
Yes God will allow the way of man to be, to show forth the folly (darkness) of his heart.
Sonship is not covetousness in any way, shape or form. The heart of covetousness is a wanting heart that is fixed upon the world rather than His Kingdom.
Let me say that the "the way of Balaam" is prophesying, preaching or ministering in any capacity for money!
YES! They stand before the fellowship using cunning words to fill their own pocket. Ohhhhhh they will say its for the building rent, or for some poor needy but all they while their hand is in taking their cut with the motive it is for ministry!
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 2 Peter 2:15,16
WAGES!!!! Yes they in their covetousness think of it as a wage and as so will use it for their gain rather than the gain of the Kingdom. Some of the most covetous people I have met are in the Lord’s work! There is always a price on everything that they hold dear to in their hearts. There is always a plea for money and around will go a plate, a bag to gather from the fold what little they hold. Their need of your money is the object of every meeting they hold, for without money they say there shall be no meetings!!!!!
Fools they are and an ass shall bring forth the rebuke that their hearts will hear!
Church can be a racket, and I think every son of God is responsible for knowing what he is supporting!

The ERROR of Balaam is the setting up of silver and gold above the Truth of God!!!!!!!
To put this into words of Truth Balaam prophesied out of the Spirit of the Lord .... BUT Balaam taught out of who he was!
The fold is the heart of the pastor!!!!!!
What they hear he will teach and as so many in the seats share in his sins for in their heart the sin has its hold. The Word of God was in Balaam's mouth, BUT CARNALITY ruled his heart.
Now we can see "the error of Balaam!"
Be not fooled by them that hold to "the error of Balaam!"
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the DOCTRINE of Balaam, WHO TAUGHT Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. Revelation 2:14
Just as the money hungry preachers of today that follow their covetous heart, Balaam was not going away empty handed from king Balak. Balaam just needed a different approach to get the silver and gold from king Balak and to do so Balaam needed to change Truth into a lie!!!! Balaam taught king Balak that if he get the good-looking women of Moab to go down to the camp and get acquainted with the Israelite men, they will find the Moabite women attractive, and will commit whoredoms with them. Once they find these women so desirable they will forget of the Lord God and turn to the dustoms of Moan and will commit trespass against the Truth of God.
And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. Numbers 25:1 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the COUNSEL of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Numbers 31:16 Yes I am taking you by the hand swiftly to show you “the doctrine of Balaam.” The doctrine of Balaam was one to defile within rather than without. It is a teaching that gets one to abandon their holy character and God’s Truth, to set one’s mind upon the spirit of the world, which is SPIRITUAL FORNICATION.
No longer married to Him, but again turning to a world where by they were divorced from by baptism into His death! SPIRITUAL FORNICATORS that sacrificed themselves to the ways of the world rather than His Kingdom!
Can we not see how the doctrine of Balaam has brought the church and the world together, the church and the world formed an adulterous relationship in which the church was kept and supported by the “Nicolaitans” rather than God!
Servant of the civil government rather then the Kingdom of God!
The marriage of Church and the world has brought all sorts of pagan rituals, pagan holidays, idols, cathedrals, doctrines and practices. The church couldn’t be cursed, so it was corrupted! That is the doctrine of Balaam!
Now we see the doctrine of the Nicolaitans embedded into churches. Men that are hirelings that need to earn a wage so they fleecy the sheep to cover their own selves!
Taking upon themselves titles to receive world’s recognition and vanity that makes them parade themselves about as great men of God!

As I close off here let me say that those who subscribe to the doctrine of Balaam are not leaders, setting the standards for Church, but followers adapting the world’s standards under the pretense of serving Christ. They are always followers and imitators as they partake of the spirit of the world and fornicate with her flesh and eat things sacrificed to idols! They use the Word of God to line their pockets with words that say “Thus saith the Lord.”
