prince judged by the Prince

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they believe not on me; (prince never believed on Him though He was before them).

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; (prince rejected who he was and His going back to the Father is proof of who He was)

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. (Judgement is spoken upon the prince and we can read about it through out Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).

As I chewed on this I was directed to Isaiah 9:6,7

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

We know that is prophecy of Him who is to come and set up His Kingdom.

It gets interesting in Isaiah 9:8-21

The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. 9:8

We know Jacob was a cunning, crafty man that took the birth rite from his brother and used much cunningness to get his wives and livestock. Reuben His first son is another new study and is from the lions of Jacob.

However! The same judgement the Lord sent into Jacob came upon Israel as a light!

In Isaiah 9:12 it reads .... The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Open mouth is the spoken judgment upon Israel. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. Isaiah 9:13

For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isaiah 9:16

The very leaders that stood against the Word, day in and day out. The very leaders that stirred the hearts and minds of the people to yell crucify Him ... crucify Him. The very leaders that rode the beast for their cause.

“ ... For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.” Upon that right hand that was stretched out in judgement stood the very Word spoken to them! For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 9:21

Jesus said .... Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. John 12:31

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. ... John 12:34-43

Daniel was a letter of judgement that was to come in the future and the Prince came to bring the judgement.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

The prince indeed has been judged and removed for the Kingdom of God has come to tabernacle IN men.
