Good Times
Blessed be the God of our salvation for He alone is worthy of all praise.
This morning is a holiday that is called ‘remembrance day’. It is a day set aside some can give respect to the many that died in the last great wars. To me it was a day of remembrance of what is growing about in the Church that many don’t care to remember or even look at.
The Apostles and Prophets wrote much concerning the times we are in, but much of what they wrote is ignored for the time has come and many are perishing with the shipwrecked fools.
Although many have gone the way of Jannes and Jambres the many forget their folly shall be manifest unto all. II Timothy 3:8,9
See Jannes and Jambres could only resist God so far, and so too will the many corrupt minded reprobates in the Church of today get. For Truth is the latter rain and the Truth that is received will be the Truth to make many free of the folly about today.
Peter shows us that there will be “... false teachers among you, who privily [smuggle] shall bring in damnable heresies..." II Peter 2:1 Although many turn a blind eye to that warning by proclaiming a victories Church, all that truly is being said is but new age teaching that the house of God is clean.
What they miss because of the blinders of lies is “... EVIL MEN AND SEDUCERS [‘deceiver’ ‘imposters’] SHALL WAX [‘advance’ ‘grow’] WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived" II Timothy 3:13
What the eye needs to see and the ear needs to hear is that these ‘evil men and seducers shall grow within the Church .... not within the world.
Darkness can not be overcome with darkness .... Light is what darkness desires to overcome and false teachings is from the only source of death ... DARKNESS!
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. II Timothy 4:2-4
Time the Church stopped pointing at BABYLON about and realizes within them are these ones that will NOT endure sound doctrine. For as Paul warns these ones are turning away from truth unto FABLES [falsehood]. Trust me there are many fables being preached today from so called Christian teachers that love to play the blame game using mythology rather than the truth, which is lust, when conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
But there were false prophets [claiming to speak on behalf of God] also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring [unauthorized] in damnable [perdition] heresies [one’s carnal opinion], even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious [destroying] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of [blasphemed]. 2 Peter 2:1-2.
If we say that was in Peter’s days I sure hate to see how far our day has gone.
For so many today are nothing more than hypocrites!
What is a hypocrite we may ask? One who puts on a false appearance, to hide his/her real motives, a phony, fake and a fraud.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan [savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men] himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
These hypocrites only desire the things that be of man rather than God, and are but an offense unto the Truth, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Time the sons of God arise and speak the Word of God with the AUTHORITY; For the Father has given unto them His Word! For the Truth spoken is the very Word of the Father through vessels He has anointed to see and speak!
"...out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" Matthew 12:34
So many look for the letter of the word. Thinking to themselves they follow the Truth when they only follow with a carnal mind that is not transformed by Truth. And when the Truth is presented they back away from it not realizing the voice of the Shepherd is speaking through His sons.
The Truth is kingdom seeking, the very throne room of God. Where one enters in to find rest from his own works knowing all has been done for them and by faith it is theirs to walk in and live out.
That is what sons of God teach.
For they are but His humble servants to feed the lambs and sheep within the fold of God. Not for filthy lucre's sake, nor for gain, but for godliness and holiness within the hearts of the fold.
Ohhhhhh the echo of the self willed that desire nothing more than to hear smooth things spoken unto their cold worldly hearts. The very stone that was rolled away by baptism in Jesus name is the stone that covers the hearts of many that have kicked out the very Life.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
ALL ... All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. II Timothy 3:16, 17
Sure seems like the time we are in is the time we must let the dead bury the dead as we lead the way. For they that see and hear are being readied for the wedding that is to come. Just as Jesus said to “follow me” we must obey His Word and press forth through this mess knowing He is indeed the only Way for Life! Let the dead take care of dead matters of this world for it is not our home nor ever will be for it must pass away for the bride to come.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: ... Revelation 21:9-11
As I look about I start to see more and more how “.... a man's foes shall be they of his own household’. Matthew 10:36
And the household of many enemies [foes] is in the household of God! Ephesians 2:19
