Repentance

For Enos, was the son of Seth, and Seth was the son of Adam, and Adam was the son of God. Luke 3:38

Many times I've asked others "When did God subject His son (Adam) to vanity?"

"...And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground..." Did not creation come from the ground?

But bless God for Deep calleth unto deep.

Ive been studying the Kingdom of God for hmmmm a year or more and should be finished the study soon. Today in my studying I was blessed by this--->For thou hast made him (man) a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Psalm 8:5

I looked up the word "angels" to see the Hebrew meaning for in a Hebrew bible it reads "What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? Thou madest him a little lower that Elohim."

Of course changing angels to Elohim will cause me to root around for its the call within. As I looked up the word "angels" I did see it is "'elohiym" and means = " gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God."

The first time I came across Elohim is in Genesis 1:26 "...And God said, Let us make man in our image, ..."

The word "God" is "'elohiym" So in Psalm 8:5 God made man a little lower than Him. It is why Adam was a son of God or one a little lower than God.

I found in Hebrews 2:5-8 a deeper look at why man is made a little lower than God, and why God made man to begin with.

"... Thou (God) CROWNEDST HIM (man) WITH GLORY AND HONOR, and didst set him OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS: Thou hast put ALL THINGS in subjection under his feet. For in that He put ALL in subjection under him, He left NOTHING that is NOT put under him!" Hebrews 2:5-8.

The awesome key to Hebrews 2:5-8 is "...But now we see not yet all things put under him. ..."

So true for now we don't see ALL things that God has put under man but when the sons shall be manifested this world will see the "... all things put under ..."

The book of Hebrews is very deep and the writer has said this to its many readers--->For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12

In context the writer is expounding upon how the Aaronic priesthood of the temple is passing away for the new High Priest which is after the order of Melchisedec. The writer says that Christ glorified not himself to be made an High Priest; but God that said unto him (Christ), Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

It is this Deep that the many readers of the book of Hebrews were missing, just as today in the many churcheS they are missing the order of Melchisedec and the many membered Royal Priesthood that shall work along with the High Priest who is after the order of Melchisedec.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 2 Peter 2:9,10

See many preach and teach the big pie in the sky called the rapture and yes some don't believe in the rapture but also as the many miss out of the chosen generation the ones called out of darkness into His marvellous light waiting for the redemption of our bodies so that we can rule and reign with Him as His Kingdom of Priests.

The Lamb of God "... hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10

This earth is not waiting for some new pastor to do it or even some new church, it is waiting for the "... manifestation of the sons of God. ..."

Yes the ones that walk in His "marvellous light" are seeing the sons shall be crowned (stephanoō) WITH GLORY AND HONOR, and God shall set them OVER THE WORKS OF HIS HANDS: For than death shall be under their feet for God hast put ALL THINGS in subjection under his feet. For in that He put ALL in subjection under him, He left NOTHING that is NOT put under him!" Hebrews 2:5-8.

As His sons walk in His marvellous light (Day of the Lord) they are understanding what it means to be given means to be given KINGLY RULE!

(Jesus Christ) "... hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:6

The sons of God know there is only One Lord and One King that has been already crowned "with GLORY and HONOR."

"Wherefore God also hath HIGHLY EXALTED Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue (in all those three realms) should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:9-11.

Man made in God's image, Man IN Christ at the right hand of God .... DOMINION!

Brother Paul said in Colossians "Who (Jesus the Christ) IS THE IMAGE of the invisible God...by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers...*and ye are complete IN HIM WHICH IS THE HEAD OF ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER" Colossians 1:15-17; 2:9-10

What a hope! What a calling! How much better, how much higher and more meaningful is this than harps and fluttering wings and white night gowns taught today in most churcheS.

Kingdom rule, Priesthood, Sonship, all who in Christ come to God's image are destined to share that awesome dominion, seated together with Him, far above all principality and power! Ohhhhhhh so many people fail to attain to the great heights of the Spirit for they listen to what saith the pastor what saith the teacher what saith the churcheS rather than "...what the Spirit saith unto the churches." So many Christians are far too taken up with carnal ideas and childish notions about mansions in the skies and harps and wings and sitting on clouds with nothing to do and all eternity to do it in, and trust me I was in the churcheS listening to the pastors and teachers and YES I DID NOT HEAR THE true purposes of God and His Christ who is seated at HIS RIGHT HAND.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a LIVING sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1,2

For so long I cried Father FATHER I SO DESIRE TO KNOW YOUR WILL! Yes I knew many church doctrines and creeds. Gosh I studied many doctrines from many different denominations trying to find the "mind of God" and yet all the time I was missing the "WILL OF GOD!"

It is when I repented that the Father started to reveal His will unto me His called out son.

I by His grace and mercy see His will, His purpose in that many will reign with Him, and to reign is to exercise authority for God to rule ALL things. As we saw our Brother Paul tells us that we are to seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. And let me tell you this means that we are to SEEK THE THINGS OF THE RIGHT HAND!

Reigning with Christ is the call to sonship.

My mind was conformed to church doctrines rather than TRUTH. I was quick to say Jesus name rather than the Word of life. I was quick to dam a soul to hell to a lake of fire rather than outstretch my arm and take ahold of the Word of life arm and join it to them that had not the touch of the Father in their life.

My Lord, Jesus the Christ did say ""I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it," and by His grace and mercy I now see He spoke of that true church which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.

Not some building on the corner that uses fear tactics to get souls in and use other tactics to fleece the soul of its earnings.

The church that Jesus the Christ is building is His "many brethren" who would be conformed to His image, matured in His life, and perfected in His wisdom, power, and dominion.

"...Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: ..." Ephesians 4:13

In my years of studying the churcheS I have come to see the sad truth that for nearly two thousand years the gates of hell have prevailed against those systems which call themselves the church, and every foul and unclean spirit has overrun them and sits enthroned in their doctrines, creeds, liturgies, ceremonies, rituals, and ecclesiastical orders.

However it is not my call to clean up the churcheS but to feed the sons of God.

The word "church" as seen in Matthew 16:18 is the Greek word "ECCLESIA". Now ECCLESIA means much more than a "called out," it's a chosen, separated people! See the word "ECCLESIA" means 'a legislative body.'

Ohhhhhh sure a few eyes lids lifted here or a mouth mumbled a word or two but lets look deep into the word ECCLESIA.

When people gathered to worship God and hear from the teacher they would gather in a SUNAGOGE (synagogue) which does mean a gathering of people for the purpose of worship. We can see it in John 18:20--->Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue (synagōgē), and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Now Jesus said He was going to build His "church" not the synagogue.

Now we have today government and we know when they gather it has a name. It is the same when Jesus the Christ taught in that He said "I will build my "legislative body" the chosen, the called, the Royal Priesthood. My many membered body, my brethren, the sons of God. That is what Jesus intended the church to be not what we see today. For todays churcheS are but a place of gathering where babes are seeking blessings and spiritual thrills. The so called five fold ministry has deserted the call to "... the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Come on now so called evangelists run about holding what they call crusades. Pastors and teachers are paid to speak in other churcheS now.

No longer desiring the church to be as Jesus said, but a play pen for the gain of wealth!

The church has become a spiritual kindergarten where people go to be entertained and taught and taught and taught again, those things which are but the elementary principles of the doctrine of Christ. AND I know I hated hearing Sunday after Sunday how to be saved, how to not have short selves, how the woman was not to cut her hair, how sinful TV is or even going to a beach.

I found myself locked in a prison rather than the KINGDOM!

I by His grace, mercy and Truth see today's church system IS decaying before my eyes and nothing can save them. MYSTERY BABYLON sits upon the throne and the so called churcheS are not at all what Jesus had in mind when He said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Deep saith unto deep "The imperfect things that have been used in my name in this imperfect age are vanishing away with the age itself, for "when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part (imperfect) shall be done away."

When the light begun to shine within I saw the first sermon Jesus preached--->From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17

I sat in wonder and asked the Father what is this message of the "Kingdom of Heaven!"

Shortly after that the Father opened up unto me--->And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. Act 19:8

I sat back and said "Father what am I missing that the Apostles were teaching concerning your Kingdom."

Ahhhhhhh the Father never answers me with a answer but He answers me with a question. The question was "What is my servant Paul doing that I am well pleased with." I sat still not knowing the answer and the Father showed me the answer "...Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, ..." Act 28:31 Yes the very last verse in the book of Act.

I found myself broken for I lacked this message that the Apostle Paul was preaching and in my heart I wanted to know it so I can also be pleased by my Father! Upon my knees went my heart in REPENTANCE!

Jesus and the many disciples preached the KINGDOM, not forgiveness, not reconciliation, not salvation, not cleansing, NOR eternal life, as the object of repentance!!!!!

Ohhhhhh come on now let us move pass what the churcheS say and let us hear "what saith the LORD!"

What is this word REPENT!

Yes the word become a living cell within my spiritual being in that I knew without it, in darkness will I walk.

The English words “repent” and “repentance” have placed the idea on such a low level that many have entirely lost the true and biblical meaning of the term. The internet dictionary defines repent as “to feel sorrow, remorse, or regret for one’s past errors, sin, omission, action or conduct; to experience such contrition as to amend one’s way of life; to remember with compunction or self-reproach; to feel remorse on account of.”

Hogwash indeed. As if a tear was what Jesus was after when He said "REPENT!"

Even the Jews knew if they repented from the law of Moses they be cast out of the temple and its blessings! They would even be cast out of Jerusalem and even the state of Israel! Yet today we happily throw out the word repent as if it is a trump card to save one from the wages of sin.

The English word, repentance, came to us from the French and Latin languages. And the word stems from the word “pain” and is connected with the word “penalty.” When "re" is added to "pentance" it means “pain-again.” So the English word can be looked at as “twice born pain; a second penalty.”

Is not that what the sinners feel during a good hell fire and brimstone sermon when they run to the altar weeping and wailing because of their sins?

Before we look at the word 'repentance' lets look at what it is NOT!

It is NOT a certain amount of felt and experienced broken heartedness caused by deep conviction evoked in the heart over the great failings or wickedness of one’s past life. A booo hooo hoo is NOT REPENTANCE! If it was as taught today, the many buildings called the church would be busting at the seams for many would not leave (or as they say FALL AWAY).

Today's church word 'REPENTANCE' is unscriptural, AND totally foreign to the Word of God, and is in fact an “extra-biblical” thought. I've seen many cry in sorrow (repentance) and taken them to the river but I have learnt that it did lead them to repentance in relation to their sins, but the sorrow and pain and weeping and begging God for mercy was not of itself scriptural repentance.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh

Let us press on and see what the Holy Spirit has to say!

"...For godly sorrow worketh repentance ..." 2 Corinthians 7:10

Can we see that godly sorrow IS NOT REPENTANCE. Read it again "... godly sorrow worketh ..." Yes Godly sorrow works (worketh) repentance, it leads one to repentance, but godly sorrow is NOT repentance.

The notion that sorrow for sin is repentance is another of the foolish fables of MYSTERY BABYLON!

I will say from my own experience it is when one turns from sin, to turn from carnality, to turn from self and self-will, to turn from religiosity, to think differently about these things, to see all things with a new mind, there has been no repentance. And when one does take a new mind about things and turn from their course, they have repented even though they shed no tears and experience no wailing or emotional brokenness.

Let us look at the word "metanoia' and NOT the English word 'repentance.'

And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him ... Luke 8:1

See Jesus came preaching "glad tidings" OF the Kingdom of Heaven! He did not come preaching some boo hoo sermon many preach today. If Jesus preached today's repentance as we understand the term in English, it would have been only an appeal to the feelings, and we would find a record in the Gospels of men kneeling and weeping and trembling and wailing in the streets of Jerusalem, in the desert sands of Judea, and along the seashore of Galilee.

Instead, the repentance Jesus preached brought great joy, expectation, anticipation, hope and a change of attitude and action that prepared men for the coming of the rule of God in their hearts by the Spirit.

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

What is repentance?

Father by your grace, mercy and Truth help this son of yours in the calling you have placed me in!

"METANOIA", the Greek word translated in the King James Version of the Bible as “repentance”, in its plainest and most literal meaning signifies A CHANGE OF MIND!

Jesus the Christ went to John's baptism for repentance you think He did it for an example? Hogwash He did it for He changed His mind from the law to the FATHER!

A chance of mind can be looked at as "TO TAKE ANOTHER MIND."

Ohhhhhhhh ..... Let us see what Brother Paul said about that.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (another mind). 1 Corinthians 2:16

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind (another mind); ... Ephesians 4:23

Let this mind (another mind) be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind (another mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 1 Peter 4:1

To TAKE ANOTHER MIND is to be A NEW CREATURE, one who cannot turn back to the limited powers of the old mind.

Here is the old mind we are to repent from --->And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: .... Revelation 13:16

Yes the "mark of the beast" is the nature of the beast which is a nature that lives to please the will of the sinful nature .... the flesh!

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 7:5

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind (another mind) I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh (beast mind) the law of sin. Romans 7:25

So we MUST SEE THAT repentance has to do with the TAKING OF ANOTHER MIND, never before possessed. Again "...never before possessed. ..."

For there is to be no mixing of the old leaven with the new bread!

Let Deep call unto deep!

The true word 'repentance' means “to change the mind” and with a new kind of mind, THE MIND OF CHRIST! See repentance involves a radical change or exchange of mind, regeneration involves a radical change of nature, and conversion involves a radical change of life-style.

That is what a NEW CREATURE is IN Christ!

So lets look at what the first sermon of Jesus the Christ was to the state of Israel ... “Take a new mind! for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

Ahhhhhhhhh YES .... a new mind will cause one to turn from the old man, the sinful nature which is subject to death and turn to the new mind the Word of life!

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:4

The man that is conformed to this world that MYSTERY BABYLON is seated upon, is shut up from the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven!

Godly repentance is, above everything else, a turning away from your wrong idea about Him.

Ohhhhhhh YES! Look at Job--->I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. Job 42:5

See Job had heard of God before, and had been taught religion, doctrines, and all he knew was men's opinions, ideas, and theories; but now Job saw God, Job knew God for himself. Job get a ANOTHER MIND.

Repentance therefore is the changing of one's mind (by the Spirit of Truth) about everything one thought about God! Many need their minds, their whole impression of who God is and of what God is doing in the earth today, to be changed!!!!!

It is not the changing of our carnal mind about something, but an EXCHANGE has to take place. A NEW CREATION in the image and likeness of God.

How many need to see that the mind of Christ is not obtained through acquired knowledge, many commentaries, or even so called church men.

It comes by the transforming work of the Spirit, "...but be ye transformed (to change into another form) by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

By the transforming power of the Word I life I see that Jesus came as the revelation of truth and the power of life, the expression of God as He really is. The truth concerning sonship is only seen by the power of the Holy Spirit, and is mind-changing and life transforming. It is the taking of a new mind about God, ourselves, and the true nature of all things.

For one to have another mind that one will be subject to the Kingdom of God rather than the kingdom of man!

Repenting is not a weeping, it is not a wailing or mourning our sin. True repentance deals less with the negatives of sin and failure and more with the positives of embracing God’s ways and will. Another mind in a NEW CREATION is one that has been brought into the Kingdom.

Right now today we need to repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And yet, we cannot do it! Adam cannot repent. The carnal mind cannot repent. The natural man cannot repent. But when that word, “Repent! for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,” comes to you in the power of the Holy Spirit and you hear it by the Spirit, it is a creative word within you just as the words of omnipotence in the beginning, “Let there be light!” were creative words of divine power. Just as the gospel comes from God, just as conversion is the work of God, and in the same manner that the Kingdom is of God, repentance also originates not with man, but with God. Repentance must be wrought within us by the Spirit of the Lord. Notice carefully in the following scriptures how repentance is given, granted, and worked in us by God Himself.

“Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel...” (Acts 5:31).

“When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life” (Acts 11:18).

“Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forebearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” (Rom. 2:4).

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth” (II Tim. 2:25).

Men can only acknowledge the truth by receiving a new mind.
