Tress in the Garden 2

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:9

Progressive revelation of Him who was to come ..... tree of life

Adam was formed by the tree of life, the very Word of God. We have been birth by flesh and blood and so we need to be born again to partake with the tree of life.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

Adam lived as a living soul in the realm of his consciousness of the Word of life. Adam had fellowship within his soul for darkness had not taken its hold. He had total communion with the Father in his soul!

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8

Not sure about you but I have never heard a voice walking before. I have seen people and other creatures walking but not a voice. Ohhhhhhhhhh yea you can walk and talk with a voice on your cell phone, so why can't you walk and talk with the Father in your garden?

See the soul is the realm of self-consciousness and in that realm one has a place where light and life are in union! The fruit from the tree of life was a high state of being offered to man. Just as many today walk in Kingdom truths, repenting from Church milk.

The tree of life was there for Adam so that he may know and walk the God life in this world!

Adam did not learn how to live by nature, for nature was but beasts (mark of the beast). Adam learnt how to walk as God in the midst of the beasts, in that man was truly indeed different than any other created thing.

For not to angels did He subject the world that is coming, of which we are speaking, 6but someone somewhere has testified, saying, “What is man, that You are mindful of him, or the son of man, that You care for him?

You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor; You have put in subjection all things under his feet. For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing unsubject to him. But at present not yet do we see all things having been subjected to him. Hebrews 2:5-8

Now we are born again we can see that the tree of life is the answered to ours spirit, for in the midst of our Garden, we are the offspring of God, the seat of God-consciousness and divine life.

"...that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘*In him* we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘*For we ARE indeed his offspring*.’ Being then God’s offspring, ..." Acts 17:27-29.

This tree of life lifts man up from the realm of humanity, from a living soul, and brings him into union with divine life, even the life of God in Christ. It is the same mystery as Christ and His Bride! For Jesus the Christ (Word of life) was man source of life from the beginning; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same WAS IN THE BEGINNING ... IN HIM WAS LIFE; and the life WAS the light of men” John 1:1-4 ... “that which WAS FROM THE BEGINNING, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of THE WORD OF LIFE for the LIFE WAS MANIFESTED, and we have seen it, and show unto you THAT ETERNAL LIFE, which was with the father” I John 1:1,2

The tree of life in Eden was nothing else but the life of God in Christ made available to man in his spirit simply for the taking.

The third tree which we know is the tree of knowledge. How this tree has brought so much hard ache upon humanity that NO FRUIT of this world can. See the tree of knowledge is where SELF is seated and all suffering is only found coming forth from SELF!

"...Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander. These are what defile a man, ..." Matthew 15:17-20

Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. The one who sows to please his flesh (flesh NOT body), from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.  Galatians 6:7,8

YES that tree of knowledge holds much more than what one thinks! Even the Prophet Jeremiah by the Holy Spirit tells us--->The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:17

Yes this heart which is the life of the FLESH only pumps out good and evil actions and one that lives by this heart shall surly die for that one does not ABIDE IN THE WORD OF LIFE!

Yet us look back and see that the first tree represents the realm of perfect soul life, the second tree represents the realm of incorruptible, divine, life, and the third tree is pictured as the source of corruption, sin and death.

YES .... CORRUPTION ... SIN AND DEATH!

The law of God that was upon this flesh world of nature for without that law everything would live forever!

For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:2-7

Humanity is BUT SKIN (body)!

It is when one turns from the Word of life that one acts like the beasts and as so will be as savage as the natural world.

Look about at the animal world and please find me love, mercy or grace? Put that little lamb next to the lion and tell me they will hung each other and the lion will allow the lamb to jump around him. Show me in flying world where birds or insects high five each other as they fly by one another? Show me in the plant world where roots grow together without chocking one another out? AND I SHOW YOU A WORLD WITHOUT A LOVING GOD!

Yes the world needed the law of sin and death for it had to be in order for creation to live. BUT IT HAD NOT THE LIFE OF GOD IN IT NOR CAN IT GIVE THE LIFE OF GOD TO ONE WHO CHOOSES IT OVER GOD!

This tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents the realm of the flesh, the carnal mind.

“For to be CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. For if ye LIVE AFTER THE FLESH, YE SHALL DIE” Romans 8:6,7,13)

“He that soweth to his FLESH shall OF THE FLESH REAP CORRUPTION; but he that soweth to the SPIRIT (tree of life) shall OF THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING” Galatians 6:8

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh for so long I hung around the wrong tree and reaped much sorrow IN MY MIND! My mind at moments can still hunt me with the evil I have done. But! IN Christ I see my sins, my eveil has been washed away and I am but a cleansed vessel fir for the Father's use!

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

I by the blood of the lamb have over come my accuser which is but the evil of the past!

That is who Kingdom sons are .... OVERCOMERS!

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God. Revelation 2:7

QUOTE = The tree of knowledge of good and evil answers to the body, the outward, the physical and visible, the earthly and fleshly, the lowest realm of existence – wherein abides corruption and death. By mixing this animal realm with his soul life, the dual knowledge of good and evil became the inner condition and state of being of Adam – and of all the people in the world today! Sin has gradually changed his features, as well as his character.

The moral and intellectual qualities are dwarfed; and the animal instincts, unduly developed, are no longer balanced by the higher spirit. Due to the fact that man lives in the consciousness of the mixed realm of soul and body (without the balance of the spirit), of the knowledge of good and evil, he has the innate desire on one hand to be good and upright, and on the other hand he has an inclination toward sin and evil. Therefore, throughout the ages, philosophers and psychologists engaged in the study of human nature have projected two different points of view: one, that man is “inherently good” in nature, and the other, that the nature of man is evil. Actually, man is both – for he lives by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Ever since the fall, though at times he is still able to manifest a little human goodness according to this human life, he manifests the devilish nature the majority of the time out of the devilish life. Man is truly schizophrenic! At times he can be very good, agreeable and helpful; he can really act like a compassionate man. But at other times, when he loses his temper and flies into a state of rage, cursing, threatening, and murdering, he is really like a devil and manifests the devilish character. When man indulges in drunkenness, lying, cheating, stealing, swindling, adultery, murder, and other sins, he bears a devilish appearance and is full of the devilish characteristics.

The good that is in man manifests itself in areas such as the activities of this world’s philanthropic institutions, civic organizations, church programs, government aid agencies, hospitals, doctors, orphanages, welfare programs, social action, relief societies and a million and one personal actions of men by which they seek to be kind, compassionate, generous, moral, and to improve the condition of their fellow men. Men do not have to be saved men to have GOOD in them! Think – in how many of your friends, neighbors, relatives, business associates etc. can you see the “good” although they are unregenerated men with no relationship to God through Jesus Christ! Before we were saved, there was frequently in our minds a natural desire to do good, to honor our parents, to be helpful to those around us, to be an upright citizen of the community. These ideas of doing good and going upwards spring from the inherent good in man. They also prove that, even before we were converted, this principle of good was in us!

But the EVIL is there too! In the very people who often express so many good qualities, at other times, one can behold greed, selfishness, strife, hypocrisy, immorality, rage, and a multitude of other evils. Hence, we must see clearly that within the natural man there are two different lives – the good created life of man, the living soul, and the devilish life of Evil. --- END OF QUOTE
