True Covenant

 Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to appear—one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron?

For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed as well. Hebrews 7:11,12

The priesthood was changed so "....the law must be changed as well."

The context of Hebrews 7 is about "Melchizedek and Abraham" and this meeting happened before the Law was given or the Aaronic priesthood!

It was a "covenant" that Father cut with Abraham and when the new Priest appeared the law had to be changed! Now this covenant God made with Abraham was a covenant of faith, not works, and this covenant is fulfilled today in the house of sons over whom Jesus the Christ is set as Lord and Master.

These sons are they who are of the faith of Abraham, and circumcised in mind and heart, joined as members to the body of the Christ, are called "THE SEED of Abraham."

The true covenant that Father wants His Priesthood to know and KEEP!

For the bread and wine that Melchizedek brought unto Abraham was the communion of this Father's covenant.

None ever again partook of the power of this covenant until that blessed night in which Jesus told His disciples, "Take, eat: this is My body...this is My blood of the New Testament (Covenant) which is shed for many" Mark 14:22-24

The disciples were the first recipients of the life of this covenant since Melchizedek met Abraham on the road and His called share in this covenant by Faith!

Melchizedek and Jesus the Christ brought forth bread and wine, and those of that Priesthood will do likewise For they will bring it forth - because they will be MINISTERS OF BREAD AND WINE, that is, ministers of the Living Word and Quickening Spirit of the Most High God.

Time to know the appointed time is at hand and to know and keep His covenant.
