Jesus (13) who is called Christ

Abraham to David are fourteen generations .... Yes
David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations ... Yes
the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations ... Ohhhhhh I can only count 13 who is the missing generation which would be the 14th.

But ye are a chosen generation (14), a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9,10

So Jesus the CHRIST is the 41 generation, so them from Christ to the 'chosen generation' would be the 42 generation!

Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, .... . Isaiah 53:8

The physical bloodline of Jesus was cut off at Calvary and He died without leaving an heir to carry on His name (family genealogy).

Now it was disgraceful to be "cut off" without leaving a descendant to carry on the family name.

Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is His reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. He will not be put to shame when he confronts the enemies at the gate. Psalm 127:3-5

Instead of being a blessed man whose quiver is full of children, Jesus the Christ "...endured the cross, despising the shame and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God."  Hebrews 12:2

So along with the Prophet Isaiah we must cry "...Who will declare His generation?" Isaiah 53:8

He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in His death, although He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush Him and to cause Him to suffer; and when His soul is made a guilt offering, HE WILL SEE HIS OFF SPRING, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand. Isaiah 53:9,10

Isaiah is not saying Jesus was married and had children, Isaiah is pointing to that 42 generation, the missing generation that shall be the seed of Christ!

GLORY .... It will be the seed generation that will declare "It is paid in full" It is the seed generation that shall be the ambassadors of the Lord, to bring forth the living bread and wine unto this starving world. It shall be the seed generation that shall have the living water of life flowing from within to without.

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. Isaiah 61:4

Yes time to see the covenant Seed .... Christ Jesus the Lord!

The promises were spoken (covenant) to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed,” meaning One, who is Christ.  Galatians 3:16

YES THE ONE SEED, who is Christ is but the one seed that went into the ground and many like Him came forth.

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. Romans 8:29

Come out from among her and be yea separated unto the LORD and His will.

For both the One who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. Hebrews 2:11

It is this Truth that the royal priesthood, will proclaim to all the excellencies of Father who calls ALL out of darkness into his marvelous light.

He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began And now He has revealed this grace through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the gospel, to which I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.  2 Timothy 1:9-11

Now that the Light of His Word has called me out of darkness I see that I am Abraham's Seed, and heirs of the promise, even joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17, Galatians 3:16)

Time we understand Christ IS NOT Jesus last name! Christ means "anointed" and is used for those who are the kings, priests, and prophets, the Lord's anointed ones.
