Harkening

And, behold, there was A man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

“For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,”

Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Luke 2:25-32

There be many today that will say “mine eyes have seen THY salvation.”

Simon = "harkening"

What the Spirit is saying is that God must have a people in whom the Lord is BECOMING rather than DOING.

Paul said “It pleased God to reveal His Son in me” (Gal 1:15,16) Paul did not say “It pleased God to reveal some of the works of His Son in me and give me some great experiences"

Paul desire was to see the man child come to be by the Truth for God is making a body that will fit the head ….. Christ!

“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,” …. Gal 4:19

The LORD is my strength and song, and is become MY salvation. Psa 118:14

When one needs, one DOES NOT KNOW the need!

This is the hour one must have the need to give to the needy!

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying OF ITSELF in love. Eph 4:16

Instead of witnessing about God, we BECOME the witness!
