Give Communion
Jesus said “...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63
If anyone can catch their word in their hand please do and take a picture for me and send it.
Of course I used the word “If” knowing a person word is but their breath, their spirit.
With that in mind lets read the Word of God as it is .... “SPIRIT!” And let us by His Spirit have the understanding and be renewed in the “spirit of our mind;” Ephesians 4:23
"The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? FOR WE BEING MANY ARE ONE BREAD, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread." 1 Corinthians 10:16,17
Many today struggle with that verse for they try and bring it into the physical when it is Spiritual. When one understands the key word is “communion” than one will have the Spiritual understand and communion with His body and blood.
Now the Greek meaning of communion is = sharing together, participation, partnership. This word show us its a sharing of His body and blood of the HEAVENLY LIFE.
Why do I say that? Look at this verse -->Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the SON OF MAN shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. John 6:27
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the SON OF MAN, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. John 6:53
Yes the Son of man shall give this bread and how we are to know if this bread is indeed HEAVENLY?
What and if ye shall see the SON OF MAN “ASCEND UP” where he was BEFORE? John 6:62
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, even the SON OF MAN which is IN heaven. John 3:13
Eating of the Word of Life the HEAVENLY BREAD is to have the flow of His very BEING into us and back to Him. It is to share in His Life as He shares in us.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:18
Truth being now seen the communion of His body and blood would be the sharing together of His redeemed body and glorified life, and this is what creation is waiting for!
Come on Saints of the Most High God. Can’t we see that He so much wants communion in us, about us and with us!
Is not this communion one IN Spirit! Yes for God IS Spirit and they that worship Him MUST worship Him IN spirit and truth.
It is a communion of God with us for we have been born again of spirit for with our spirit dwells God!
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9
I so much love John 6 I want to share these verses for they speak volumes to me.
"This is the bread which came down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and NOT DIE.
I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is MY FLESH, which I shall give for the life of the whole world...verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.
Whoso eateth My flesh and drinketh My blood hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
For My flesh is meat indeed and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh and drinketh My blood DWELLETH IN ME AND I IN HIM.
As the living Father hath sent Me, and I “live by the Father,” so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me.
This is that bread which came down from heaven; not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead; he that eateth of this bread shall live forever"
Jesus turns to His chosen and asks them “...Will ye also go away?”
The heart cry of Peter rings so deep within me “...Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” John 6:67, 68
COMMUNION ... COMMUNION .... COMMUNION
'To him that overcometh,' the Lord said, 'will I GIVE to eat of the HIDDEN MANNA...' Revelation 2:16
The very manna that was hidden in the ARK in the Old Testament is offered to them that overcometh the flesh, lusts, world and self. The very LIFE that is HIDDEN in the Son is the MANNA from heaven and the Lord is wanting to GIVE it unto any that “Labor not for the meat that perishes” but (LABOR) for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the SON OF MAN shall GIVE unto you, for Him hath the Father SEALED' John 6:27
