True Verus True

Having therefore, brethren, BOLDNESS TO ENTER INTO THE HOLIEST by the blood of Jesus,
   
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
   
And having an high priest over the house of God;
   
Let us DRAW NEAR WITH A TRUE HEART “in” full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
   
Let us HOLD FAST the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
   
And let us consider one another to provoke unto LOVE and to GOOD WORKS:
   
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:19-25

The HOLIEST was where the glory of God was and once a year the high priest entered in with the blood of the sacrifice to minster unto God and God would not remember the sins of the people for another year.

Now we have the Son that went before us and His blood was put on the mercy seat and God now has no remembrance of our sins and we may BOLDLY speak and fellowship with Him because of the blood of the Lamb that opened a new way for us to enter into.

As I was chewing on this the words "TRUE HEART" came alive in me. I heard in my heart "TRUTH IN HEART."

I looked up the word "TRUE" = that which has not only the name and resemblance, but the real nature corresponding to the name, in every respect corresponding to the idea signified by the name, real, true genuine

The Word "TRUE" (G228) is used 27x in the New Testament and some of the verses are well let me post a few ---->If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true G228 riches? Luke 16:11

That was the true G228 Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 1:9

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true G228 worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:23

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true G228 light now shineth. 1 John 2:8

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, G228 and we are in him that is true, G228 even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true G228 God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20

And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: G228 and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Rev 22:6

TRUE HEART ---- His Truth in our hearts will show us the way to Him is open and we can enter for we have a "TRUE HEART"  “in” full assurance of faith!

Now I noticed 1 John 2:8 has two "TRUE" in it and one is different than the other. Yes, going from Greek to English is indeed not easy and yes in 1611 the use of the English words is not the same as our sloppy English of today.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true (G227) in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true (G228) light now shineth.

Now 'true' (G227) = loving the truth, speaking the truth, truthful

And "true" (G228) = “particularly applied to express that which is all that it pretends to be, for instance, pure gold as opposed to adulterated metal”

Truth-loving and the Truth-speaking God!
