Most High God
Now by His Spirit let us look at the "the principles" that we are to move from into "perfection."
(1) repentance from dead works
(2) faith toward God
(3) doctrine of baptisms
(4) the laying on of hands
(5) resurrection of the dead
(6) judgment.
Bless Father for the foundation .... But it is time to move on!
To preach them principles over and over is to make the ears of them hearing DULL. It keeps them wanting milk for it does not move them to perfection which is the mature feasting upon the meat of His Word!
Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. Hebrews 5:11
The building on every street corner is a day care with an endless supply of milk for the many that come in Sunday after Sunday. They sometimes think Wednesday night is meat night when in Truth it is just a different bottle holding the same milk.
"The Order of Melchizedek is one of humbleness of heart and hunger for the Deep Truths of God for the Order of Melchizedek is the first principles of the oracles of God.
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12
oracles = a brief utterance, a divine oracle (doubtless because oracles were generally brief).
Now with the meaning of "oracles" one can see why such a brief utterance of the Order of Melchizedek.
This Truth of Melchizedek must be birthed into our heart and it must move down into our feet so that we live it out.
This Truth seen in Hebrews is as much as mystery as the book of Revelation. So when one sees that that one will know it must be given from Him and not from the head-knowledge of MYSTERY BABYLON.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:7
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the MOST HIGH GOD.
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the MOST HIGH GOD, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the MOST HIGH GOD, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. Genesis 14:18-20
The Words of Melchizedek are NOW radiating from the heart of Abram---->And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the MOST HIGH GOD, the possessor of heaven and earth, ... Genesis 14:22
LORD (Jehovah) reveals His Person, while the title Most High signifies His exalted position far above all.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: .... Luke 1:32
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18
"For the LORD MOST HIGH is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet; for God is the King over all the earth; and the princes of the people are gathered together to be the people of the GOD OF ABRAHAM; for the shields of the earth belong unto God. He is greatly exalted" Psalm 47:1-9 (Psalm 83:18;91:1-2,9;92:8)
God's purpose in a name is its MEANING!
Jehovah is derived from the Hebrew word YAHAVAH. Now YAH is the word for “God” with a sense of “The Giving One” meaning "to be," or "being."
HAVAH means “to exist,” “to be” or “is.”
So Jehovah (LORD) means THE SELF-EXISTENT ONE or THE ETERNAL. It is NOT God's name it is who God is .... The Eternal One, The LORD, Most High God!
God is God without any help from any other source.
He is the ONLY Life giver for He is the LIFE ETERNAL.... LIFE without end!!!!!!!
"....the Father hath life in himself; ...." John 5:26
