Quickeneth
Glory unto Father for our daily bread ....
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
Quickeneth, What an old English word and really not used much today.
Quickeneth means = "to give life," or "that giveth life," or "that is the source of life." Jesus the Christ was saying, "It is the Spirit that giveth life," or "It is the Spirit that is the source of your life."
GLORY
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: ... Col 1:27
Let us look again at that verse ... To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is LIFE (Christ) in you, the hope of glory:
YES ... Life is in me and as I grow in him I mature to know I AM IN LIFE (Christ).
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
I proclaim with my hEARt that Father has raised me up and set me upon the Rock and NOTHING can shake me!
Ohhhhhhhhh yes trials come my way, and through them I find my standing upon the Rock firmer and firmer!

Now ... he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit .... or ONE LIFE!
COME ON NOW ..... "The flesh profiteth nothing" and time to know that Jesus the Christ IS revealing to us that every visible, carnal, natural, material, physical thing in this world, including our own flesh body, is NOT creative. It has no power to increase itself; it doesn’t even have the power to sustain its own life.
All it can ever be is the visible manifestation or expression of the LIFE of Spirit, and of the creative power that is in Spirit.
Deep calleth unto deep .... Behold my LIFE ... and desire it and you SHALL BE FILLED!
Therefore, the great mystery that Jesus the Christ was seeking to reveal to us who can receive and understand it is that it is our own spirit that is the source of our life, that we carry the source of our life around in our own beings; and therefore, our own spirit being the source of our life we are not dependent on anything outside of our own being for our life.
Ohhhhhhh come on now, they who are born of SPIRIT IS SPIRIT ..... John 3:6
I've been born from SPIRIT and as so I AM SPIRIT! I proclaim that LIFE I AM for any that desires it!
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17
“The flesh profiteth nothing – it is the spirit that quickeneth, that is the source of your life,” Jesus the Christ IS revealing to us the great truth that the source of our life is not in the flesh, not in the visible, not in the carnal, physical, material things, or anything that is of this natural world; but all those things are but outward manifestations of the creative powers that are in the life of Spirit, and that the source of our life is in our own spirit.
Today's problem with most of Father’s people, is that they have not known this great truth.
They have thought that they are dependent for their lives on the carnal, material, physical things of the flesh of this world – natural money, natural housing, natural clothing, natural food, natural body, natural abilities!
So let me close up with this Deep Truth ... When one lives out of the carnal mind that one is dependent upon the visible and the physical and the natural for his life – natural money, natural job, natural business, natural body, natural housing, natural clothing, natural possessions, natural food – natural, natural, natural .... and that one is scared to death if cut off from that source of life, for they think they would die.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentilesseek): for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:31-33
